Isaiah 26: 3-4 Those of steadfast mind you keep in peace—because they trust in you. Trust in the Lord forever, for in the Lord God you have an everlasting rock.

Hello everyone, welcome back. I have ran into a thrift store today, so
let's see what they have together. Actually, the majority of what you'll see here was filmed
a few days before Easter and I ended up leaving de-handed, but I went back a few days later and of
course found some things. And don't forget to pay attention to the price I've put on the screen
because that's going to be the accurate price after the discount, you know, according to how
I wish that I had access to real dried hydrangeas because how beautiful would this
long basket be filled with them? This gorgeous antique lamp was only $30, which I don't know,
I think that's a fair price, especially since they normally mark up the antique items, so I did
expect it to be a little higher. I was looking at this quilted sham and then noticed this furniture
piece and I have absolutely no idea what that was for. Maybe if y'all say it, it'll be obvious,
but I stood there for a good second trying to figure it out. I would love to know how y'all
are enjoying your spring so far. I have mentioned this before, but a lot of my spring days are spent
outside with my binoculars and I just love watching birds and squirrels and I have the
bird identifier app where you can record the birds you're hearing and it'll show you in real
time what they are and I don't know, the amount of time that I spend out there doing that is a bit
much. They had quite a few really nice cross-stitch pieces. I loved the dogs. I guess I didn't show
the prices, but I think they were around $45 each. I wanted this coffee cup, but I've been making
mine at the 10 ounces on my coffee machine and once I had the creamer, it's almost overflowing,
so I'm needing to find some larger ones instead. Okay y'all, look at these couches and the chair.
I feel like these came from the same estate because it's very 80s or maybe 90s. I don't know,
but I loved them, especially the shell looking chair and whoever owned them kept them in really
good condition. I can't believe that I've been looking for different dining chairs for three
years now and I still haven't found any and you would think as much as I thrift that I would have
found two that I like by now, but I am so sick of looking at the black ones and I even check
marketplace, but my area, we don't have good stuff like I see other people share in their area. It's
just not, it's not the same over here. I loved this. I think it might be a buffet. It was on sale
for $82.50. I think if you just oiled it, it would be so beautiful and I love that it still has the
casters. They had way too many little doilies and linens to go through and show every little price
tag, but they normally group them together and price them. Also, I really liked this floral
pillow, but now I'd rather just make one myself. This reminded me of myself, always tired, lazy,
and a little fat. I loved the colors on these samplers. They were $20 each. I'm gonna have to
ask them where they get their furniture, but they must buy out estate sales because they always have
the best antique and vintage furniture and it's always in the best condition. All right, y'all,
I have a few things here that I want to show you and how I'm gonna style them or what I plan to do
with them. All right, I got a couple of books from the store I was just at. I had to have this version
of a little princess because how gorgeous is this? The cover's so pretty. I think I'll just style it
eventually, just maybe in the guest room, just laid out somewhere, but it's just so pretty. Even
the inside has these pretty little designs, so I had to get that. All right, and then I've been on
the hunt for a few pretty cookbooks to decorate with in the kitchen, but I think it's nice. It
says Italian cooking, so maybe I should actually, you know, use it as a cookbook, but I don't have
any others and I was actually searching on eBay night before last this book, so I was like, oh,
that one would match nicely. I see this in tons of people's homes, in their kitchens, and I have
come across them before at the bins, but anyways, I looked it up on eBay and they were extremely
expensive, like for a book, you know, $30 to $40, so I passed on that. Went to Goodwill yesterday,
the Goodwill bins, and found one, so I got super lucky. So I plan to set these out in the kitchen,
which I'll show you that, and then I also found this beautiful small, like, area rug. Isn't this
so gorgeous? It's like a dark pink, kind of a mauve pink, and this pretty light green. I'm not sure
where I'm going to put it yet. I'm thinking maybe in front of the fireplace, so I'll try to share
that here in just a second as well, but this was $10. I love it so much, so I think that was a fine
price. All right, so I went ahead and put them here up next to this little display. I wanted to show
y'all this, uh, because I got this little bird at Round Top. It was just sitting there by itself,
this little wood bird, and I asked her how much she wanted. She wanted four for it. I went ahead
and paid that just because I thought it was so pretty. It is hand-carved. I put it next to this
bird's nest that I already had here, which these eggs are way too big for that bird, but, um, it's
a display. Who cares? But this is how I have this little section for spring. I've got a pretty
ironstone plate back there, some sugar spoons, some books, and yeah, y'all know I like to decorate
this space in a similar setup. Now, when I got these books, I was wanting to put them in this basket
up against this ironstone pitcher, but I have all of my spring-themed, like, napkins in here
to dry your hands off with, and I'm liking that, so we're gonna keep that over here instead, and
sorry if I'm making you dizzy, but I think I like that right here. So, I wanted to share that space
with y'all. Now, let me show you where I think I want to put the rug. All right, here's where I'm
thinking about putting the rug. It's under the fireplace screen, obviously. I do wish it was a
little longer and it reached out to completely cover up this tile, because y'all know how I feel
about this fireplace. I feel like I've done every renter-friendly thing I can think of to make it
look better than just the tile. They literally just dragged this tile up the wall, didn't trim it out
or anything. Anyways, I'm doing what I can to make it feel cozier and just to add texture, so I wanted
to find a rug to go under here, and I really like the colors in this one for spring, especially. It
really matches all the pinks and stuff that I have up on the mantel and the greens. All right, y'all,
that's gonna be it for today's thrifting and decorating video. Thank you so much for joining
me. If you enjoyed it, please give it a thumbs up, subscribe, and I will talk to you in my next video.
Bye!
