Tin-Tin Ho vs Annett Kaufmann | WT - Groups | #ITTFWorlds2026

more and more important for the German team display of what Annette Kaufman can do on both wings she stays up to the table and she just powers down it gives her a lot of reach and a lot of ability to play those angles extremely wide especially with her backhand watch out for that here earlier on to Japan and they'll want to take advantage of the fact that Kaufman had a comfortable cushion there wraps up the opener 11 points to six in this best of five made it look very easy there towards the end great success what is going to be the key Gavin for Tintinho that she was a world champion at youth level so she certainly got what it takes it's just about that development that's too well saved having had a handful of game points saved what is the message that Tintinho needs to take on here to Kaufman's backhand down the line as much as possible create chances for yourself to play with your forehand three one and that's what you were saying she got Kaufman a bit of fortune in that one inside and the Germans look really relaxed brilliantly done from Kaufman back I think there's a slight cause for concern now for Kaufman she needs to get back on top relax you can take a breath you know you've got a game on the board and it just changes your mindset I'm not saying that you're in these losing positions in between the points not happy what a resurgence in her career she's had over the last couple of years but he's searching taking this for a decider Kaufman keeps herself in touch she had a bit of luck there didn't she Kaufman I just listened to the screen for a minute as to five Tintinho saving match points Annette Kaufman did she call that time out at the wrong time that's the one she has to avoid that was amazing from Annette Kaufman just deal with this service well just listen to the screen from Annette Kaufman and you imagine a lot of it is to do with relief she couldn't wrap up the match after the fourth game taken to a decider and she sneaks it over the line in what was shaping up to be a real battle between this pair Annette Kaufman in five games gets Germany off the mark against England
