Why is your phone so boring? I tested a whole bunch of Android launchers so you guys don't have to,
and each one of these completely switch up how you guys are going to be using your phones.
And with the last one, people are going to question if it's even Android anymore.
But yeah, these aren't your typical launchers, each one of them brings something completely
different. Now I'll replace my launcher, and hopefully, this is going to help you guys
replace yours too. So first up, we've got ResLauncher. If you've got hundreds of apps
installed on your phone, and you can never find that Krispy Kremes reward app, this one's for you.
Simply draw the letter on screen and your phone does all the hard work for you.
No more scrolling or typing needed here, just simply draw and find what you need,
whether that be contacts or apps. And on top of this, interestingly enough,
the launcher also starts learning what you use most and brings them to the forefront of your
home screen, so you can always quickly jump into whatever's important for you. Additionally,
there's also a couple of quick indicators as well, such as for upcoming calendar events,
as well as built-in music controls. Oh, and let's not forget, it also supports
two pages of custom widgets, one to the right and another to the left,
helping your phone feel more instantaneous. But of course, speed isn't always the problem,
or if you're just tired of all that mess and those constant distractions, well, check out
where your phone is literally stripped back to just the bare essentials. That means no icons
or clutter. It brings a clean, minimalistic look with your basic must-know info on the home screen
itself. That's literally just your clock, battery level, and weather. Really, what else do we need?
Oh, I haven't said that. To the left, we have a multi-channel RS feed for all of your interests,
and to the right, a dedicated notes page for all of those wild ideas that you have in the middle
of the night. Oh, and as for any additional widgets, just swipe down and you have a whole
area of purpose-built, any widget that you can think of. And of course, swiping up, we've got
all our apps. Now, weirdly enough, using this launcher, I actually found myself using my phone
less. Not because I didn't want to, I mean, social media addiction is still a thing, but more so
because there was nothing pulling my attention. Like, I'd pick up my phone, unlock it,
and I'd just kind of put it back down. It's super calming. Now, if you're just looking for something
a bit more flashy to show off to your friends with, check out DNA Launcher. Now, I wouldn't
really describe this as practical, but unique is definitely the word here. It takes your entire
library of apps and creates a spinning, 3D, floating, interactive world. So you swipe to
browse and simply tap to launch. It literally takes your basic Android experience and turns
it into more of a concept device. Just make sure to toggle on the holographic mode. Now, for one of
my all-time favourites, Wide Launcher. Normally, your phone's made up of separate pages for all
of your different apps, but yeah, with Wide Launcher, it totally turns this on its head,
taking all those pages and turning them into one continuous workspace, giving that feeling of unity
across all of your screens. And it even supports a super deep level of customisation, even more so
than the popular Nova Launcher, allowing you not only to change icons, widget sizes, their rotations,
but also how things are layered as well. Literally turning your home screen into a playground of fun.
Now, if you ever wanted your phone to feel a bit more like Iron Man's, this one is for you. The
Alpha Hybrid Launcher. And this doesn't feel like a launcher, it feels like a whole different system.
Everything is built around panels, with custom motion and sound. You tap something and it reacts.
You swipe and everything moves with you. It feels like you're literally inside of an interface,
and not just tapping on icons. Of course, all your apps, widgets and shortcuts are still about,
they just spread across different layers of the system. Now, I do have to say,
after using this one for a while, returning back to the stock launcher will feel a bit flat.
Anyway, that was my top pick of Android launchers for you guys to check out. So,
if you guys want to see more like this, make sure to smash that like button and subscribe,
and comment down below which one stood out to you. Catch you guys later.
