Coco Gauff vs Iva Jovic 2026 Rome Round of 16 WTA Match Highlights

Making sure she's hitting a lot of first serve percentage. Oh and she hits the line with the backhand, just watched it the whole way. Yeah lovely work by Goff on her forehand, setting that up. Needed a little helping hand on the way, Goff getting a lot of balls back but Jovic eventually. Oh it's long and Jovic nicks it. Well Goff in her last match against Solana Sierra lost the first set. Seven games to five, she came storming back in set two. Oh what a point that was superb from both players but Goff with quality to win off the forehand. Oh watched it well, played it well and yeah just beginning to go through a gear or two here. Oh lovely it's gonna say as well Jovic despite the fact she's a breakdown won't need to think too far back. Yeah well the question was asked and Goff came up with an emphatic answer that's a really good hold of serve. And she's made it I think yes she has but in a sumptuous lob. It's long and she never knows when she's beaten does she Coco Goff. She was on the verge of elimination facing a match point at 5-3 down but then typical Coco Goff she reels off four games in a row wins the set. We have a decider on the way. Yeah it's a good point you make actually Jean-Christophe Forel. He just got the blend right when he was chanting Coco Goff about. Oh Goff just put it on a plate. It is a hat-trick of hard-fought wins for Coco Goff here in Rome. Jovic's racket goes to the floor. Goff delighted and relieved in equal measure. Fabulous match between the two Americans.
