Welcome everyone to Monday morning and welcome to second breakfast. Clark man
waiting for some bread to crisp up in there. He's got a burger that I cooked last week for lunch but
was left over. Can you get the pickles out of the fridge? Pickles coming up. We got these pickles
if you want them. Are they still good? Yeah. When I find nose prints on there I'm gonna know where
they came from. What is that? It looks like a pig snout. We may not have hamburger buns but we
definitely have bread. Don't mind that guy. Your hat's done buddy. I steam cleaned Clark man's hat.
You can't see it but that's it. You can't monitor. You get the idea though. We'll do one of these.
Here we go. We got a mellow cat. Oh geez. She's in the sun.
Look at yourself. Look at yourself. Yes. Trying to dry all these things out out here. We have
all the cushions out. I just stepped in all kinds of wetness. Not fun but there's a mudokutu.
Look how majestic the Russell Explorer hat looks in this beautiful sunlight out here.
Mellow's impressed you can tell. She's actually left her her little spot to come over and check
it out. I'm being summoned. If you want to see my garden there it is. $13 from the Amish. We'll be
playing that today I think. You want to show my burger taste test? Yes I do. Oh I cleaned my hat
too. My hat had like a little spot on it. Got that off. Here's what the inside looks like. Okay
looks good. Got that pickle on there. Got in there for the crunch. It doesn't look good from the
bottom necessarily because we got the untoasted side out but it's what's inside that counts.
And that's about to be inside the Clark man. This side looks really good.
Oh no. Ask them if this is the content they subscribe for. I gotta peel my socks off now
because they are soaked. That was a move. Clark's next operation is underway. Can anyone guess what
this is? If you saw the box down there you might know what it is. Otherwise you have to guess.
Found a clip last night. Someone posted this clip and it reminded me of you Clark man. Let me see
if I can find it. What about breakfast? We already had it. We've had one yes. What about second
breakfast? What about the living season? Lunches, afternoon tea, dinner, supper. He knows about that doesn't he?
By the way Clark man. Bruh. We had like the worst weekend in terms of weather and then Monday hits
and all of a sudden it's like let's just be gorgeous outside today. What? Let's just do that.
This is my last five day week. Then I got two four day weeks and then a two and a half day week. Oh my
gosh. Easy money. You make it through today you officially only have four day weeks or less left.
That's pretty cool. It's too thick man. It's chunky. Bank errand my favorite. Let's go baby.
Perfectly made Clark man. Very nice. I need to go grab some socks. Grab me some too.
And just like that. Where's Clark man?
Bro stealthing to school today. I thought you were hiding in the trash can when I came out
which would have been hilarious. Our trash guys were out here like
seven o'clock this morning. They're on the grind. Speaking of trash guys there goes some.
Let's get you guys a tulip update because I know you need one. These peonies
so close on the cusp. These are looking good. Definitely beyond their prime now though.
And I'll just be pulling these out. That isn't even supposed to be there actually.
It's a weed just kind of growing up. Oh boy. We got some work to do. Love you buddy.
Hope you have fun today. Enjoy one of your final Mondays of school.
Love you. Have a great day. Another day another bus. Welcome everyone to Home Alone with Greg.
Home for like the next two minutes because I am going to the gym and then I've got some other
things on my agenda as well. Getting groceries. I just remembered that. I was going to go to Lowe's
too. That was my big goal for today. Go to Lowe's and get some supplies to get our garden started
my $13 vegetable garden. So we might be out running. We'll be doing that a bit today.
That'll be all of our objectives. But first things first and I was going to say worse things first
but no I actually enjoy it. We're going to go to Planet Fitness and get the fitness.
On that note get some oh my socks inside out. I've been having some real trouble with socks today it
seems but we're good to go. Got shoes. Got the list. Got my drink. Got my keys. Got my air pods
and I think we're good to go. I showed a shot of all the stuff that I take with me and someone
said it was the official Greg starter kit and I thought that was pretty funny. I guess I do have
one. I should do a I'll do a YouTube post and show all my stuff. Let's begin our morning maybe
in the afternoon of running and getting things accomplished on what seems to be a productive
start to our week. Look at that. You guys got to skip the entire drive here. Must be nice but I'm
here. Planet Fitness. Always a spot for me over here on the side. That's where I like to park at
and this is where I shall be where my car shall be because I don't know there's a spider on my
leg or something. Is it jumping? I don't know what that thing is. You can vamoose. Anyways if I turn
into Spider-Man you'll know what happened to me and then if I turn into the Hulk you'll know that
I went to Planet Fitness. I'm back. Probably can't even tell that I went anywhere but it is over an
hour later. It's actually 11 o'clock right now. Holy smokes. We got to go do the rest of our
stuff today. Next stop Lowe's. This is going to be a very easy stop. Everything that I need is in
the garden center. In fact it's probably all out here. I just need some garden soil for my garden
beds around the plants that I'm going to put in and I need a little bit of black mulch to go around
my mailbox. Found a little cart out here just waiting for me and we're going to go into the
grocery. Get our stuff. I feel like I can smell the hot sausages all the way down here and it's tempting
me so bad but I know I'm strong. I can resist. I guess this is probably what I need. Organic raised
bed planting mix. Urban vegetable gardens. That would be perfect. How much is this per bag and
how many bags do I need? Ten dollars. I was thinking maybe one bag per bed so that'd be four
because my fifth one has strawberries in it and they're good to go. Wait one darn minute. Two for
14. I think we're switching brands here. We're going to Miracle-Gro. Sit you guys up right here.
We're gonna get some shots. We got this. Don't you dare move. We're gonna get the shot for you.
There's one. That one has a hole in it. I'm gonna have to take the one that you're resting.
Oh yeah you're down. Camera down. Raised bed. Two for 14. It's a deal. I think so. This is
ten dollars each so that's that's only seven and it's organic. I should get a job here. I
could totally do this. I could be a Lowe's employee. Actually I couldn't be one because
I don't know where the mulch is so if someone asked me I would fail them. Oh I think it's all
the way in the back there. We're gonna get our workout in here too. Oh no. Is that five for ten
on the non-organic one? I'll stick with this. We'll try to get the good stuff here.
It's like all grass seed down this way. Grass seed. Weed killer. I'm gonna have to ask somebody.
There was no mulch to be found in there because you have to drive around the building to get it
so I'm gonna put this in my car and then we'll go grab a bag of black mulch. That just reminded me
I have to get groceries too. This is gonna be a pretty full car by the time we get home. I'll
just throw these in the back which is where the groceries are gonna have to go too. Oh gosh.
How'd I lift all those weights when I could have been doing this
and getting things accomplished instead? Holy. We got it. There's our organic raised bed soil.
I hope I can grow some bigger more bountiful plants. Life goals. If you're wondering about
the cost that was $35 for all of that. I spent $35 on literal dirt. Busy times we're living in.
There goes a wiener dog. Slightly going. Thinking about going. There's the hot sausage stand that I
was smelling all the way over. I'm telling you they might be piping that through here
to get people hungry and it worked. Here's a selection. If you've never been to Lowe's or
their nursery before you could probably get almost any flower that you want I would imagine
or mulch which is what we're doing. They have like a little guard shack over here and I gotta
talk to the guy. Morning. I just need a bag of black mulch. Keeping it simple today.
She told me they have it out here. I was I looked around in there.
Dang it. That's okay.
I could have got that inside. That lady. No I'm just kidding. I'm so I'm not mad.
I'm just disappointed and just like that we've got ourselves some premium black mulch. This crazy
amount of inventory they have here. Look at all these pallets of stuff. It's insane. Said I could
drive right around here and leave. I've never done it that way before. I've always cycled around and
came back out so this would be a new experience. I see yeah they have it set up in a way that you
enter the one way and then you come back out this way. Okay. I just got a bag of black mulch. Do you
need me to open up the back so you can see it? It's in the very back there. They just verify that
you got where I'd steal in a whole bunch of premium black mulch. Next thing on the agenda
of course is to go get groceries but Walmart is right over here and being that I'm down here
I'm very much tempted just to stop in real quick and see if they have any good LEGO clearance
happening. I'm here. Why not? I can stop in real quick. We could do a little gander if you will.
I'm kind of bummed that the Clark man's not with me. He would really enjoy this
but I'll do this in his honor. This will be the definition of a speed run. First things first
we hit the clearance aisle. Goals. Oh 16. That's still high on clearance. I'm a cheapskate.
We're still trying to clear these Spiderman's out.
Not much to be seen here. This is probably the coolest thing we've got.
We've got the sewer spewer with the turtles. $27.50. They're clearance man. I don't know.
I feel like they're a little stingy with the discounts but I don't see any LEGO stuff or
much of anything at all. Pretty empty shelves so what's this? Another turtle.
That's actually pretty cool. I've been so spoiled with the art sale stuff though. Like I'm getting
like $1, $2 figures so $17. I don't know. I'm a cheapskate. I guess I just feel like $17 should
be the regular price but maybe I'm living in the wrong decade at this point. I don't know.
The LEGO aisle. Do we see any magical yellow stickers on anything? I don't as of yet. Let's
Star Wars section where everything is full price. They did clear some of the Star Wars stuff out. I
feel like it's a little emptier here but no deals to be had unfortunately. So we tried.
Didn't hurt to come in and look. We'll do a quick look at the Black Series. See if there's anything.
Oh Clark would like this. The Jango Fett. They also have Boba. Wow they stocked this up.
Got Boba Fett back there. That's cool. Another Boba. Darth Vader. That's the one he has with like
the broken mask I believe. There's times where I wish Clark Mann had a phone so I could message
him and be like hey do you really want this? Oh there's another Boba back there. Or Jango I'm
sorry. Sorry Star Wars Detectors. I'll let that sit since it's full price. I'm sure we get that
pretty much anywhere I would imagine for that. Any of these? Nope. Nope. Nope. Anyways that's the
Star Wars section. All the things that Clark loves in life. I'll show him that clip though
see if he's interested. There's the Pokemon. Poke. And what happened to the turtles? They're
starting to evaporate. That's all we got now. A couple pegs. Oh I did see this. I saw someone do
a video on these. They're really cool. That too. Good price. Here's something familiar.
Ten bucks. Eleven bucks. I got that for two at the yard sale and my grail. We got Tommy
the Green Ranger. Also 1086 sales. I have Jason here and that's it. Oh Billy. No Pink Ranger. No
Yellow Ranger. Just the guys. Let's see what Tommy looks like with his flip. Pretty good.
Not bad. Better than the old one. If you're wondering how these flip you just push that
down. It's pretty ingenious the way that it works and then you just like that. That's cool. I would
do that like thousands of times as a kid or as an adult. These are cool. They even have the guns.
Power Rangers is like really doing great right now. Man that is awesome. I could build the Megazord.
I wonder how that one is. It looks way bigger than the one that I had as a kid.
So you do that and you need that and you need these two and what about the pterodactyl who
makes that? Do they have that part? Because that's that's important. You need that part.
What the heck? What the heck?
That's the one we're missing right there. Pterodactyl along with the all the figs are in
there too. Here's what you're kind of building though. I might look at a review on these and
see how they are. This one of my favorite toys as a kid was the OG one. On that note I am leaving
Walmart clearance-less, empty-handed, my wallet full and happy. Oh they're killing it with the
tunes in here though. I should check and see if they still have my glasses in stock here.
Every year I buy a couple pair of them. These are the ones that I wear right here and they've got a
whole stockpile of them here. I've been wearing these for like as long as I can remember. It's
like my trademark but I get my sunglasses at Walmart. That's how fancy I am. I think I currently
have at least one or two pair on reserve so I'm okay for now but there will come a time where I
need to get some more. Have a good day. Thanks. Probably one of the only people to come into
Walmart and not buy anything. I'll make up for that in the next place that we go. I'm making
another little secondary side quest here. I'm at Kohl's right beside Wegmans where I get groceries
at and I'm going back to their Lego section because the last time we were here I did an
Amazon return. They gave me a free five dollars to use on anything and I used it on some CMFs
in their Lego section and they weren't even supposed to be out yet but they were. They only
had a few of them and I want to see if they have the new stock out yet. This is their Lego wall.
I need this. I'm gonna buy that. It should just be like a little box of uh collectible minifigs. They
had them sitting out. They're like this but this is the older one. Someone must have bought all
the new ones because they were like sold out when uh when we came through and that was weeks ago.
I think they were just like sitting on the shelf. There was like two or three of them. It's sort of
like one of these situations. Shouldn't have been out but they were and I got one. I didn't even
realize I got it early to be honest. I was like oh this is cool. It was a soccer player but I'm
looking for the Bionicle guy and I think all the scalpers are too unfortunately. Just seeing if
there's anywhere else. They might have just randomly set it because as you can tell like
it's not like super organized here. It's kind of like a looks like my storage room in some cases.
Two fails and one success. I feel like that's that's okay. We're now officially back on our
main quest. Going to Eggman's getting groceries. Our final activity out in the wild. This list is
not bad today. I should be able to make it through here pretty quickly. It's now afternoon. Holy.
Believe it or not I am pretty much done here and success. Looks like these have been gone through
so I'm assuming the one that I want isn't in here but I will do some scanning and we'll see. That's
guy right there. That's who we want. The Bionicle dude. I scanned every darn one of these. Not a
single Bionicle guy in there. Somebody's been through. I think people are scalping them and
trying to make a lot of money. They did have the Boba one which I like. They had that girl. They
had this one. They had that. Two of that one but the rest of them wiped. Could be luck of the draw.
Maybe people just bought a lot. Like you can see these did pretty well. These ones have been here
forever and there's about the same number there. I just want that guy so I'll check every week I
come in here. That's about all I can do and maybe one day along the ways we'll we'll get a fresh box
and get one. And just like that Wegmans is accomplished. I only got three bags of stuff
and it was over a hundred dollars. I'm always impressed with the cost per bag when you go to
the grocery store. Good to go. Back home now. Had a little lunch. Notice when I was eating.
Clarkman's hat's still out here. See if it's dry. It is. Got my little cat rubbing my leg.
Oh you want to check that out? That's a hat. That was pretty cool yard sale find for for Clarkman.
Trying to figure out what the weather is going to do. It's like sometimes a little nice. Sometimes
it looks like it was going to rain but I think I'm going to try to get the old garden done and
planted here. I don't want to ruin my $13 investment by letting everything sit in here too long.
We'll get this stuff all in the in the ground today. We're going to save the mulch for later.
For now we'll do all of the the soil work which I'm just going to kind of put this over the top
and then the holes that I dig for the plants I'm going to put some extra in there and kind of just
let it mix in a bit I suppose. I am by no means a professional gardener and I could be doing this
completely the wrong way and if I am you don't even have to let me know because it'll be too
late. Already happened by the time you're watching this. I don't even know if I bought enough
plants to plant this all up. These are all my raised beds. I think last year I did tomatoes
here. In fact I can see one of the things is still here. I actually bought more of these.
I should rotate my crops actually. Would I do tomatoes over there as well? I think I might have
and then that was peppers and I had peas growing in there which they never took off and I think I
had like zucchini. You can see one of my onions I guess made it through the winter time. I saw
this last night and I was like oh there's an onion there. Is it anything? What the heck is this?
Let's pull it out. It's a little onion. How about that? Maybe I should have left that in there. I
don't know. I'm just gonna plant. My strawberries are up here. These are coming back after a year
so these will be strawberries. You can kind of see them growing in there.
They did well over here and this side they didn't. I had them kind of spread out equally. I should
get some more. I keep thinking that's dirt on the front of this but it's just the design. I really
like that. It's pretty cool carrying these all down and then we'll rip them up and rip them up
and that's my Amish accent I think. Can I carry you guys down on top of this one? Is this the
content you subscribe for? I just ripped my first bag and I'm just kind of spreading this out.
Spreading it on top. I left some in there so when we dig our holes for our plants which I also brought
down there'll be some soil in the hole for the nutrients and such but yeah I could probably mix
this in really good. I'm not gonna. I do that on all these here but I figure in the meantime I'll show
you what I got so I can kind of go with the plan. We got some zucchini which I bought today. Every
zucchini that I grow is the equivalent of growing a dollar more or less. We got two of those. We've
got some cucumbers. I got cucumber one and cucumber two. I always get two of everything just in case
one fails. Yeah the other one is like a backup. These are the super sweet 100. They're like little
cherry tomatoes. We've got what's this one? Same thing. Again I just I just double up everything.
This is a better boy tomato. We're growing a lot of tomatoes. You'll see that here. This is beef
steak. These are both beef steaks. These big ones and then we've got a six pack of peppers. Sweet
peppers and then I did one jalapeno and that's pretty much it. That's all I was able to get over
at the Amish and this again was 13 bucks for all that so not too bad. You grow just a couple things
and it pays for itself. A couple tomatoes and a cucumber zucchini. Boom. Spent more money on the
dirt which is kind of crazy. Decided that I was going to lay all my stuff out and see how it all
fit in and then I just went to work on the tomatoes. So I got my cages in here. I dug holes
for all of the spots when I put these. I did like a staggered pattern this year. Before we've had
this completely loaded I think this is going to be more than enough. So I have the holes and I'm
going to put what's left of this soil into those holes, mix that in together and then we'll have
four tomato plants, two beef steaks, one better boy and this is the super sweet cherry tomatoes.
I had a goal of doing this by May 1st. I wanted to have everything on the ground. We missed that goal
so we're doing this on May 11th as of the time of recording this. This also is the day that
Roxy bear passed away last year which I just realized and is sad. I think about her every
time I come home with groceries I think about bear and how she'd be waiting there for me. I know it
seems kind of backward doing this around the tomato cages but I wanted to make sure that they
would go in and being that the soil is all new last year they went in with no problems. The previous
soil that was in here like trying to dig into this under the mulch, good luck it's all rock.
So we're going to take this baby out. Shoot I did not want to do that necessarily. This thing all
just oh gosh it all crumbled apart which is kind of good. It wasn't compacted in any way.
We'll just kind of put all that in there. That's all their potting soil which is good stuff for
this so we're just going to do this. We're so scientific here. You see how this is? Then I'm
just going to kind of mound this up and eventually like this may look small like you're like wow you
have all this space but you'd be surprised what these tomatoes grow into. Like these things will
be falling over. I'll be putting wooden stakes in here. They're going to be so crazy. Hopefully.
Assuming we get enough rain here in June. Got that looking good. Pour some of the good stuff
on top of that. This one right here is going to be our better boy. So we'll put that right there and
there's your tomato. We'll do these two next. And just like that episode one the tomato menace
is done. I don't know where that joke was going but we got the tomatoes planted. Now
we're going to do, you stay there, we're going to do zucchini next. This is going to be the zucchini
bed. These things get pretty monstrous so we're just going to put these kind of like right in
the middle here and here and then they'll just kind of fan out and they'll literally fill this
entire area here and hopefully provide us with some nice zucchinis. Again before the squash bugs come
and take them over. So there's my zucchini and we're just going to put some dirt right around it
like that and we'll get some more from the back here too. Actually I've got a whole crumble here
that we can do. A whole crumble. Pretty cool. Zucchinis are planted. Whole bed just for those
two. Over here we're going to be doing peppers inside this. I might leave some space for something
else if we want to add in. I just love to put the soil in there. Same thing over here. This is going
to be cucumbers and just like the zucchini the cucumbers will take over this entire thing and
be like falling out of the sides. So I only needed two of those. We'll do a little step out here so
you can see that our 2026 garden is officially done. I showed you all this stuff earlier as I
took you through then I thought better of it and was like you guys probably just want to see this
thing finish. So cucumber, cucumber. We got two in there and then over here we got six sweet peppers,
bell peppers, and then this would be the jalapeno. And then I've got space here to add more in. I
could also probably add some more cucumbers there. Definitely could add more strawberries there.
This is going to be filled and I think this is going to be pretty full too even though I only
used four. I still have one of the cherry tomatoes left. I just think this will be enough. It produces
so many to the point where I was just giving them to the chickens last year. So that's it.
That's the garden for this year. You saw mulch madness. Got that all taken care of. We got the
soil for the beds. We've got everything planted. That's all in a day's work and today was a
productive day. We got all that running done. Some failed side missions with the Lego stuff but
overall I did everything that I wanted to do today. Got everything checked off the list
and it was fun bringing you along with me. I hope you enjoyed and we'll see you in the next video
where I have a whole bunch of tomatoes. No, that'll be a long time from now but we'll get there.
