If it goes into those trees I'm in deep trouble, if it goes into that log I'm in deep trouble,
if it goes down that white water, just this area behind me to keep it.
Beautiful jump, another great jump, that's just incredible really.
Yeah, oh man, I'm gonna have to do some thinking tonight, thinking about how awesome that was,
that is really superb, that is fantastic, this has been really great.
Category three tricky situation, the brown mayfly, just yeah, took it.
So I've made the walk in, feet are pretty tired, I've just come for a wander up here and found a
fish, it's a bit tricky to see but it swung right back and took something, so try a dry fly,
see if that'll work, but yeah it might be a nymph, I think nymph will work, let's go.
Take too long to get on the board, nice five pounder, lovely lovely golden bullet,
there you go guys, how good, how good, lovely first fish.
So that worked out sweet, I tried the little category three, what was it, tricky situation
there, brown mayfly, the fish didn't see it, I switched over to a pheasant tail
and just first cast hooked it, beautiful golden bullet, lovely lovely fish, five pound,
happy with that, went to do the release and actually dropped the net and the net started
heading off downstream, so I had to save the net and miss the shot, but beautiful fish and
what a fantastic start to this mission.
I found another fish, some fio have been hanging out here too and there's just a
fish feeding in the back of the pool, so see how we go, took it, just like that guys,
awesome, better get the net,
yeah, that's a lovely size fish that one, fantastic, this is an absolute stunner,
this is one of my fish of the season I reckon, look at that, look at that,
you beauty, that is a really really stunning fish, look at the spots on her, fantastic.
I had to chuck her jacket on because it got a bit cold and I'm just getting destroyed by
sandies but I turned up to this lovely pool and I was watching the fio and then I just
saw this fish rise behind them, I'm like oh yep, game on here, and then hooked it,
landed it in the net, seven pounds and it's a stunning looking fish though, wow,
this is really going great, fantastic result, really happy eh?
What are you thinking of that one on the campfire, around the campfire tonight?
Superb, I'm just super happy eh, that's a great end to this day, we're not even over yet, it's
half six, I've still got another hour and a half, two hours of light, so yeah, amazing.
There's these two fio here and then there's a fish, well the fio are just going over the fish
now, I can't cast because they're blocking the line, the fish has come right back, he's just here,
I think we're going to get this one without too many difficulties guys, have a look,
there you go, dry fly deployed, fish on guys, awesome, unbelievable, now see that log up there,
we're not going to let the fish go in that log, no way, not this time, we want that fish right back
here, beautiful jump, I cranked up the drag a bit because yeah, that log looks like a lot of trouble,
another great jump, just try and bring the fish in here into this calm water,
another jump, is that three or four jumps, oh no, it's got me on the run guys, should be able to
see the fish there look, what a stunner, hopefully we can get it in the net, let's have a look guys,
this is another beast, another seven pounder,
that beastly seven pounder took a long time to land, I had it right back here and it just wouldn't
let me get any closer and I always had in the back of my mind like, if it goes into those trees I'm
in deep trouble, if it goes into that log I'm in deep trouble, if it goes down that white water,
so I really had just this area behind me to keep it, I had the drag up tight
but I had that stropped forex which is a really strong string and yeah, oh man,
I'm gonna have to do some thinking tonight, thinking about how awesome that was, that is
really superb, that is fantastic, this has been really great,
there was another shot with the same fly, the category three tricky situation,
the brown mayfly, just yeah, took it, it wanted it, it ate it and it got it in the net, fantastic
