That's a funny-looking goat. Yeah, they've been off grazing again. But I just wanted to come give y'all an update on the three babies. So, come join me. We're gonna do another one of them t-shirts. Yeah, not the triplets. I have resorted to nicknaming these three the triplets. And, uh, the update is on the three new babies at the farm. Baby Jay. Hey, go meet your friends. Your little sister. She's coming, Fiona. Here she comes. Maybe. Jesse, come on. She's not sure what to think about Bella. Jesse, come on. You can hear her. She's nursing quite a bit. Yeah. I wanted to show you guys that she is getting, I think, plenty of nourishment from mom. She, uh, hasn't regressed any. So, uh, I think that shows that she's getting plenty of milk from her mama. She's not starving. She's not lethargic. She's still not where we want her to be, but I think we're still waiting on maybe an additional diagnosis on her. We haven't got the blood work back yet. But still, she's like, I bet she's got five times more energy than she did several days ago. What are we, what, four days past the last vet visit? Something like that. It's been longer than that, hasn't it? It's been longer than that. It's been a week. Tomorrow will be a week. Tomorrow will be a week since she got her last plasma transfusion. So, um, we're slowly progressing, but I would say we're progressing. Yes. We're definitely not going backwards, in my opinion. No. And every time I come down here, she's almost always nursing. So, that's good. I like seeing it. And there's RJ. Oh. No, that's Steve. Steve. What are you doing, buddy? What are you doing? I'm trying to video the baby. Yes. Well, he says you can call me the baby. Yeah. That's what you need to do. I'm gonna, I'm gonna bypass you. Look. She just dumped out the feed and then rolling in it. Yeah. Well, Pepper probably dumped it out. Oh my gosh. Lucy's definitely rolling in the feed. That's why. Gross. Lucy, you're not supposed to play with your food. Don't you know that? Did your mama not teach you any manners? Chicken's laughing at you. So, that's why I've been feeding on top of this old water trough. Because Pepper likes to go around and dump out every food bowl. Even the big metal tall ones. So, I started feeding alpacas on top of this because Pepper can't bully them and push them away or knock it down. That's a good call. Yeah. I need to get closer to RJ. But he's eating. So, I won't disturb him. Steve. He's eating too. Yeah. As you can tell, he is doing very well. Look at you. Hey, buddy. Hey. What do you think? It's a big new world. Oh, Steve. RJ. So, I want to come like just love on him and pet him every day so he gets used to us. Yeah. Attention hog here. I think he's doing pretty well as far as being socialized and letting you touch him and his mama doesn't seem to mind at all. What do you think, Steve? You're making me nervous. Mama's fixing to come get on to you. Yeah. Yeah, we really want to try to get him very well socialized because most alpacas are pretty standoffish. They don't really like affection and to be touched unlike this guy. He's an affection hog, aren't you? But most alpacas like generally from what we've seen from ours and other places we've been to, they don't like to be touched a whole lot. So, I can't quit touching him though. He is so soft. Oh, he's just so soft. Like every uh every fall I get on Sam's website or I'll go to Sam's and they have those fleece blankets for like twelve dollars and that's what I get and this is what he feels like. It's just so soft. Yeah. You know people are gonna say, well, DJ, you have alpacas. They are fleece animals. I understand, but DJ does not have that kind of time in her life. No. Where are you going? Oh. He's curious about Steve too. Okay, I'll let you go, babe. She's like, I don't know. I want this guy to leave me alone. Hey, what do you think? Come here. You wanna come here? Yeah? You thinking about it? Nope. Just kidding. You know who he acts just like? Rufus. Yeah, that's exactly what Rufus would do. Yeah. She went and rolled in a dust bath. Well, we got all the babies taken care of. Trying to get away from this bright light. Gosh, this bright sun. But yeah, there's a tiny update on the tiny babies. It's not always bad. We are, I feel like, making some headway with Jesse. Things are good. The other babies are super healthy. Thank the Lord.
