Where I sleep in city / Solo female van life

So today guys we are heading to the big city yes you heard me right we are getting to the big big city uh you're not gonna hear me say that very often because me and the city it's not something that I enjoy but what I enjoy though is the drive to go in Vancouver because it is gorgeous and of course you know my little baby she's coming with me and she'd be silly as she usually is so yeah today we are getting to the big city shopping to do things that I could not get in town so yep you're gonna follow me around in the big city and um I'm gonna show you also where do I park tonight all right guys we are in Vancouver just went and paid for the parking so I'm at the mall right now I always park somewhere where I think the van's gonna be all right which is it's got a lot of traffic and people so um and I put my divider I don't know if I showed you that before so I do have the divider which is pink insulation that I painted black I have to do another coat right now but uh this allowed people to not see the cat from the side now don't really mind that if some people see her right now it's got a little pathway there I have a really good feeling that she's gonna go in her bed upstairs and um sleep there so I'm not super worried about this and we don't really see her like with the divider here making the the van very dark and another thing that I love about those the kind of divider that I call it is that people if they walk by the van here they cannot see what's going on inside like the front here I never leave anything valuable of course but people cannot just sneak and see if it's got some people and I'm gonna close my curtain properly too so people cannot sneak behind here and see if I have anything valuable um so this is what I do and because I still have my storage right now I kind of use it in the way that I leave anything that I do have valuable a little bit when I go in Vancouver especially in a big town um I put like a couple things there just you know in case someone broke into at least they're not gonna get um my valuable stuff if you want um it's been such a long time I didn't go in Vancouver uh since it's what like been a year now that the uh pandemic start and uh I've been like it's the second time I kind of realized that when I was driving I'm like oh my god it's like it's just been I think the second time that I left Squamish for the past year which is crazy so I do have a couple things to purchase things that I could not find in my little small town in Squamish so I'm gonna do that um I try to you know like do things fast because I do have the van because I don't like to leave my van by itself and my cat especially so um we're gonna do that fast and yeah shopping day I guess so all right see you later you guys all right guys I just came back from shopping purchased a couple things that you cannot buy on Amazon and uh buy some food because it's lunchtime watch out kitty some vegan pad thai and yeah the cat is all right she's here with me and um yeah we still have a little bit of shopping to do it start raining right now and yeah we'll see where the rest of the day is gonna bring us guys so I'm gonna park here as you saw it's got a bunch of uh let me turn off this here as you uh saw it's got a bunch of RV here so I'm gonna park here uh I might yeah just maybe back up a little bit but I'm gonna park here I actually don't park beside big RV um big old RV um there's like um a problem if you want in Vancouver that sometimes the big RV got a bad reputation and even in Squamish that happened a couple times that was parked beside a big RV and for some reason that day the city decided to clean up this area so they start like towing van and all that if you are in your van they're probably just gonna knock and ask you to move but um yeah actually kind of yeah stay a little bit away if you want but I don't know right now I feel to have a nap every time I go in Vancouver I just feel so tired and right now it's raining too I don't know if it's the drive and like the busyness of like the big town kind of uh but I'm gonna go in back chill a little bit maybe I even have wi-fi I just want to have wi-fi a little bit down the road here but yeah I think I'm just gonna pull here a little bit I don't know if I'm gonna sleep here tonight I mean I'm sure we'll be fine to sleep here but I don't know if I'm gonna do it but for now I'm gonna have a nap because I need it and I'm gonna talk to you later on guys all right guys I've been like snugging in bed here watching a couple things online uh the atlantic ocean is not the best but it's not the worst either and um I think I'm gonna stay here tonight at just um some other like a smarter camper van start to park here so I have a feeling that that whole street's gonna be full of the camper van tonight so I think I'm gonna sleep here tonight uh I do have right on this side of my van the little green pad so uh if the rain's gonna stop or tomorrow morning I'm gonna be able to walk the cat there so that's gonna be awesome for this and I have wi-fi so I'm not gonna move um and I do have the grocery store just on this side of me so uh I'm probably gonna go grab a couple things here uh to have a little small dinner I'm not that hungry I had the big lunch but I'm gonna grab a little something and uh when I do park in Vancouver or in any big city in general um I pretty much always park in the same kind of spot um what I mean by that is um if I find a place like right now with other RV um I kind of just sneak around see what's going on if I have a good feeling I always always no matter where I park I always follow my feeling if at one point at night or whatever for some reason I have feeling that's not the greatest place I'm gonna move um that's always what I do um but um yeah I love like be around other vanlifers if you want uh I just found like it's nice we're all sleeping in the car everyone knows that's what we're doing here so um I feel safe here uh other place that I do park um is beside like a apartment building so a place where they do have different car all like every day every evening so they don't really pay attention to type of car and the van that are there outside um place that I absolutely don't sleep uh it is in front of like residential places um because if you think about it the guy spend half a million here dollars even more for his house so he doesn't want like a guy to sleep in his car in his van right in front of his house so I don't park there um other place that I do park if I do travel I don't mind to park in like um truck stop yes they are noisy but to be quite honest the sound of like the motor of the truck kind of made me fall asleep I don't know why I I don't mind to sleep in those places um Walmart parking lot and I don't know place that I don't mind at to sleep there I know some people do um but I don't mind um and yeah in the backcountry I don't mind either but um yeah so those place are usually my go-to and that was the same thing when I was living in my car the same place that I was sleeping to um so yeah but tonight that's where we're gonna sleep um and yeah like I said I'm gonna grab some groceries soon and have a little dinner and just you know scroll online and do the usual stuff and relax in the van uh I'm a little bit tired today like I said I don't know if it's the driving if it's the big city or that a mix of all of this I guess and the rain all right guys the best part about be by living by yourself and not having kids I guess is that you can have a bowl of cereal for dinner and nobody cares about that and uh the worst part is we're gonna put chocolate milk on it because uh that's the only thing I have and I don't feel to walk at the store right now so at a grocery store so that's what I'm gonna have and we're gonna enjoy that in the bed I think that sounds very very good I'm gonna enjoy this uh watch a couple thing online and just just chill for
