I GOT A KITTEN meet miffy

Their lives are about to change for the better. For some reason, Roxy loves cat toys. This is giving co-cats, and it has a bell. Biffy's coming, ho, ho. Oh, she's singing along, too. My brain, literally, oh my god. Guys, I'm gonna be a mother. I mean, I already am a mother. Two beautiful, gorgeous, amazing girls. These are my pride and joys. These are my babies. I love them. Animals have always been... Alright, I was about to trauma dump, but you're interrupting me, Roxy. Animals have always been something that has a close place in my heart. I don't know if a lot of people know this, but I actually had a service dog in high school from my sophomore year all the way to graduating. Her name was Belle. She lives with my parents. She's old and retired now, and when I moved out, I didn't want to put that stress on her of bringing her over here. She's like 10 years old, and when she dies, you'll never see me again. I'm just joking, but not really. That's my f***ing girl. Without Belle, this video would not exist. Let's just say that s***. That's the f***ing tea. Animals have always been something that's really close to my heart because they heal me in a way that no one else can. No matter how much therapy I get, the love that a dog or a cat will give me is just not gonna compare. And I've been going through a really tough time recently. I think you all know. I've been very open with it on social media. Your girl's struggling at times. But it's okay. Right? I've been struggling, and you know, it's been making me want to... You know. There's this cat I want so f***ing bad. I met her for the first time yesterday. Are you joking? She is literally... She loves me. And some people see that as, no, maybe you shouldn't. It's just very healing for me to care for an animal. I don't know. Willow takes care of herself. Willow is so independent. She's an independent woman. Roxy is a really easy dog. And I kind of want a challenge. Not like cats are hard. They're really f***ing easy. Having a puppy and having a kitten is two totally different things. But I'm getting off track right now because I have ADHD and I can't stay to one f***ing topic. So yeah, I've been wanting to get a kitten because I've been going through it and I feel like having one could really help my mood. A family friend of ours, her cat was having kittens. And I was like, give me one. What the f***? You're gonna tell me that and then you're gonna expect me to be like, okay. Girl, give me the cat. I want the kitty. At the time when I found out, she was just pregnant. So I knew about this cat for a while. And I'm like, oh my god, her kittens are gonna be so f***ing cute. Like it's literally gonna be a white fluffy cat. And then I was like, oh my god, if it's white and fluffy, I'm gonna name it Miffy. After my favorite bunny. Miffy. I even got a tattoo of it. Like don't play. I love Miffy. Miffy. Miffy. Literally Miffy. So I was like, oh my god, that'd be like perfect. She was gonna give birth like end of June. So I was like, oh my god, like end of July, like I'm gonna get a cat. But then, my mom dropped a f***ing fart bomb on me like a few weeks ago. And basically told me that she told the lady that I can't handle a cat right now. I didn't handle that well. I literally went to Disney World and got this f***ing stuffed animal because I was like, this was supposed to be Miffy. But today, guys, guys, guys. Today I was on a walk with Roxy getting her steps in. And I get a text. My mom makes a group chat of her, me, and our family friend that has the cats. She said, hi Miranda, blank, has a question for you. My heart dropped. Cause I was like, what the f***? They're gonna tease me now? Because something weird that my mom has been doing is like showing me pictures of the cats. And I'm like, why are you showing me pictures if you know you're not gonna let me get one? That's just like hurting my feelings. I guess they just went to the vet yesterday, all the little kittens. And they got cleared to go to a new home. And she said, first of all, she's already calling the cat Miffy. Miffy was all cleared for the vet. She wants to know if you want, blank, to give Miffy her first bath tonight. Have her go home tomorrow or do you want to give her her first bath tonight in her new home? And I was like, what? New home? So I immediately called my mom and I was like, what the freak? She was like new home as in like I'm getting a cat. They literally pranked my a**. Like they literally hashtag a** pranked me. It was all a plan. It was all a plan. I'm literally getting the cat. In the lady's phone, this is my contact. Yeah! Miffy's coming home. I wasn't expecting this so I had to do some research on like how to introduce them and everything. What her setup is going to be because I know I can't just bring a new kitten into a household with already another cat because they're very territorial. I set up a whole little housing system in my downstairs bathroom. I wanted to put her upstairs but I only have my bathroom which I'm going to go in and out of and then it's not going to work with the whole setup of like how to introduce the cats and then also I have like a laundry room but it's just way too small. So she's going to have to be down here. This is my bathroom. You're probably wondering why do I have a puppy playpen. That's because one time I almost got a puppy and I bought the supplies and then I never got one. But that was just me being impulsive. I bought the supplies and I was like what the f**k are you doing? Like you need to sit the f**k down. That was a while ago. This was like prepared for months but I never got rid of the playpen. Oh! Well that's not your home so I don't know what you're doing. She's already claiming this s**t. This is why I have I'm going to have like the door because it's like a whole process with introducing cats. I was watching like a s**t ton of videos on it but we're going to vlog the whole process guys. I'm kind of nervous. Roxy's like what the f**k is going on? Like I'm scared. She's like over it. I think the main thing I was watching is like I have to show them all equal love. Before we move on, I have to take a run to the pet store and I made a to-do list. The fact that the whiteboard is literally Miffy, you can tell my obsession. But I have to pick up a few things. My litter box that I did is just like a little pan that you cook in. I wanted to just use that for now because that's what the lady said she was using and I want her to like be comfortable and then eventually I'll like get a whole new one because I think that cats are not supposed to share litter boxes. So I'm going to have to get her a new one. I do already have toys as you saw but I want to get more. I don't want Willow to feel like she has to share hers. First on the list is toys. Then we need to get bowls. I really want to get cute ones from like Amazon but I kind of need it like right now so we're going to have to get some ringity dingity ones from the store as she's getting adjusted and we're doing the whole move-in process. I need to get her a bed downstairs. We need treats for the whole process of them getting to know each other. They have to like associate them moving into a new home as like a positive so I have to like do a lot of treat moments. I was going to get a toy bin because I want to separate the dog toys from the cat toys now. Then I need just a temporary collar. I get all of their collars from the same place on Etsy. They're like super bedazzled and like they have their names all printed on it. It's like really fancy pretty but I can't get Miffy's now because I'm going to have to get like the smallest size and then she's going to grow out of it so I want to get her a temporary one for like when she's a kitten before I get her her bougie bedazzled one. And then scratchers because there's a lot of potential places where she could be ruining furniture. I have to get some scratchers to like put in front of her so she scratches that instead of my expensive bed from Urban Outfitters that I paid a little too much money for. And then a harness just in case. I don't know. I just thought. I kind of have to go but my camera's going to die so should I film on my iPhone? Let my camera charge, come back, pick it up and then go to my parents' house. I think that's what I'm going to do. Let's go to the store! I'm at the store. I brought the list. The whole whiteboard. I'm in the cat section. We are in front of all of the toys. There are plenty of options also in front of the treats. Perfect because they're both on my list. I already have one of those like this thingy. We don't need that. I have this one already. I need to get more because we also have Willow. This is like a good set of like little mice and their fruits. That's in season. Right? Isn't like fruit trending now? This is a must. This looks like a tampon. This looks fun. Makes noise. I'll get it. This is like too much like a real mouse. I think that's enough toys. Let's look at the treats. Found these. These are specifically for kittens but I also need to get Willow some. Maybe I'll get her the cinnamon flavored ones. Also the cat scratches. Is this like too big? I can like put this on the side of my couch. I think I'm just going to get one. The cat tree I have also has a scratcher. That's what Willow uses. Okay, I found the collars. I heard that the breakaway collars are the best. These are all too big for her. This is giving Colcat. And it has a bell. I like the bell because I know where they are. Don't have a lot of options for bowls. These ones are $5 and they have the grip and it can be temporary. This can also be like a travel bowl too if I bring them anywhere. I'll get like nicer ones for the house on Amazon or something. I found a harness that literally matches her collar that I'm getting her. I found this dog bed. Yeah, I know I'm getting a kitten but this works because look how tiny it is. And it's blue, her designated collar. Acquired everything. We're going to head back home, pick up my camera, and then go to my parents' house and get the kitty. Back home! But let me show you I set up everything. I have the treats here. I set up the little room. Little bed with her collar waiting for her. Some of her toys. Cat litter. Scratcher. Willow's getting curious again. Her bowl that I have to fill up with water. I forgot to mention that the lady is bringing me some food so that's why I didn't buy any. And then once I see like the brand then I'll buy what I need. Got the treats. We got everything. This is the carrier I'm bringing her home in. Roxy got to one of the f***ing toys and now it's drenched in f***ing spit. Let's go add the next member of the family. I think she's waiting at my mom's house for me right now. I was gonna put that upstairs for when I sleep because I felt bad that she was gonna have to sleep downstairs alone and I was even gonna sleep on the couch because I wanted to like keep watch on her but I might keep that upstairs in like the laundry room. Willow was already curious and she's getting through the door. Oh my god. And I have to like keep it shut with this litter. She already knows something's up but I heard that it's not good to like introduce them like right away. Miffy, it's your new home. And I put her food in her bowl and water, set up her little litter box. I have two set ups for her. One upstairs, one downstairs. But I'm just kidding. Damn, Willow's so strong. She's like pushing to the door. You hear Willow? She's eating her food. That's a good sign. Oh my god, Willow. Willow, not yet. I hear some people say like they can't see each other for a week and then some people say like oh, they have to have like a blockage here. Willow, I said no. Kitty ASMR. Oh my god, okay. I'm gonna let her adjust but I'm gonna give Willow some love because I remember that's like the important part of like the whole process. I have to give Willow equal attention so let's do that. I'm gonna keep the kitten out of upstairs and she's gonna strictly be downstairs. So, I brought that little crate into the bathroom. I took out the big crate because we couldn't fit. She was just like, had no place to walk. Let's go check on Miffy. I still love you. You know that, right? I literally gave her that to sniff it. Yeah, see? She hisses at it because Miffy was in there. Yeah, she's like, and she smells her scent. So, this is her setup. It's a dog crate but it's big enough for her. You can just be a model. You're gonna be a superstar. Did you know that? Cause like, you're literally gonna be a superstar. Okay, I need to shut up and like, go to bed cause I'm tired. Hey guys! Oh my god, I need to relax. Okay, it's the next day. Miffy did really good. Literally, her and Roxy low-key get along more than her and Willow-y Smith. I rubbed Miffy's scent on this so that they could get to know each other. At first when I showed it to her, she hissed at it so, that wasn't chill. I need to get more cat litter, more of Miffy's food and I need to get her more like, toys that can kind of like, keep her entertained when I'm not there. So like, moving ones. I've been kind of letting her like, like roam around this area. She's only peed. She hasn't pooped yet. But she's eating. Okay, Miffy. No. Miffy. That's my toilet paper. It's hold time. I just came home. I had to make a stop at PetSmart and Petco because when I went to PetSmart, they didn't have the food that she eats. Let's start off with Petco first because I want to check if I just broke what I put in here because I slammed it on the table and I am broke. Let's snuggle Petthro. I got this for Miffy because inside of like, her little crate right now, she's using one of my comforters and I wanted her to have her own blanket so that she could like, leave her scent on it and everything and I thought it was cute because it's pink. Oh my god. Willow is literally freaking me out right now. Willow! She's like, watching over. Look at how cute these toys are. It's Y2K. Cat toys. I just got more of her food that I needed. I thought this was so cute. Look, it's a little Pusheen cat and it's like, like a treat thing. I kind of low-key need to get three separate treat holders, but I thought for one of the cats, this is really cute. This is self-care. And then next is PetSmart. So I got more cat litter, but that's over there. I got this toy. Okay, look at this concoction. It has the little balls, it has the little feathers so that it can keep her entertained when I'm not in there. I got more little ones so that I could share between her and Willow. Got a little something for Roxy because she's been such a good girl. I got you a present. It's a peace offering. Do you like it? Oh, what the heck? Do you like it? I got some soft cat food for Willow. Just like some of her favorites so that I can be coming as a positive and be like, ooh, now that the new cat's here, I get my favorite food and I got a different flavor of the soft treats because for some reason she's not eating the one I got her. But I think it's because of the brand I got, she doesn't like. But yeah, that's the haul. I'm gonna go set everything up. My grandfather texted me. Congratulations, Angel. Aim high always. Aw.
