AI GeneratedThe video features a snooker challenge where the creator attempts to recreate the most impressive shots from the Tour Championships. By analyzing and mimicking high-difficulty plays from professionals like Zhao Xingtong, Judd Trump, and John Higgins, the creator evaluates the technical difficulty and precision required for each shot.
Zhao Xingtong looked completely unplayable at the Tour Championships,
but did he also play the best shot? To find out I've taken all the top shots from this tournament
and as usual we're going to be working out which of these shots is best by attempting to recreate
all of them as accurately as possible before playing them in the fewest possible attempts.
So let's begin with John Higgins who's opening up this frame against Mark Selby with a nicely
cued long straight red. John stuns this in position for the blue so he can play for a
red around the table. John would eventually go on to lose this frame but would win the match by 10
frames to 8. Well that's a positive start getting it straight away especially when there are tougher
shots to come. Well that has to be the perfect start so let's try and increase the difficulty
level now with Zhao Xingtong who's taking on this long red into what appears to be half a pocket
and screwing the cue ball back safe. He does this and then goes on to make a 78 break
which allows him to take a 6-0 lead over John Higgins in the semi-final.
I was so far out there with my first attempt I nearly potted it off the edge of a second red.
Needless to say this shot's going to be a lot harder than the previous one,
partly because the edge of the pocket is obscured but mostly because I have to screw the cue ball
back down the table and that just means I have to play it with considerably more power which is
costing me quite a bit in accuracy. That's better though even though I did hit it a little bit too
hard the cue ball still come back a long way. This Judd Trump shot was recommended to us by
Harry Grace where Judd's 5 frames all against Mark Allen on a re-spotted black and he simply
cuts this long thin black in to take the frame. If you want me to have a go at any specific shot
you see in any upcoming tournaments just simply comment it on any one of my videos and I'll
probably find it and give it a go. I've got it straight away although when you look at this side
by side my black looks like it's slightly out of position. I don't think this is the case I think
it's actually an optical illusion and if you watch the cue ball it actually goes the wrong side of
the middle pocket meaning my shot was possibly thinner than Judd's. I'm not sure how this all
works out but I'm pretty sure I got it closer than it looks on camera anyway. Back to Zhao
Zingtong who's just played a relatively successful pack split but appears to have finished on nothing
here. However Zhao manages to play one red off another into the middle pocket despite the second
red seeming to be far too far from the middle pocket for the shot to work. He just uses a lot
of pace and I know this is going to be something I struggle with. As you can see I struggle to play
shots really accurately with a lot of pace and you need that pace because the first red needs
to strike the second red hard to make it effectively stun off the second red rather than run through.
If I was just to play this slow the first red would have no chance of going in the middle pocket.
I've got it unfortunately I've kissed the white back down the table but I'm definitely taking
that one because I'm not sure if I'll get it again. Judd Trump's clearing up after securing
an A3 lead over Neil Robertson and he's playing almost every shot as an exhibition shot including
this yellow where he screws the cue ball on and off the top cushion making it check up in perfect
position for the green or at least in perfect position to play yet another exhibition shot.
Of all those shots in that break though this is by far the best one and it's going to be
interesting to see if I can work out what I need to do here in order to make the shot come off.
After my first attempt I realised the right hand side was almost completely unnecessary on this
shot and the backspin would check the cue ball up enough on its own. It took me a few attempts to
learn what I needed to do with this but by the time I got it right I think I've played the shot
absolutely perfectly here. Barry Hawkins is seven frames all with Tepcha Renu and he picks out this
long red at the start of the frame. Although this doesn't really lead anywhere he'd eventually take
this frame and the next two as well for an impressive win. My first attempt was a disaster I
didn't even get into the cue ball enough. My second attempt's better I've potted the red but I've just
hit it far too hard. The shot still needs a little bit more backspin as well but I've got to take
some pace off it. I was struggling at the start to get enough spin on the cue ball but I'm getting
it better now and this is much better. I'm in good position on the black here. Judd Trump now with an
incredible match winning shot against Neil Robertson. He's tight on the top cushion but realises
if he plays the green at a slow pace then the white is likely to finish in behind the brown
and he'll get the snooker should the green miss. It doesn't and he ends up in perfect position
allowing him to take the match against Neil. I was only a little bit wide with my first attempt
there but I realised I slightly overhit it as well. I need to play this shot a little bit softer
which does make it a tiny bit harder but this is looking good. I've got the pot and I've actually
played it a little bit too slow but I'm taking it. Zhou Xingtong is trying to steal this frame
against Judd Trump and take a six frame to two lead. He pots the black and spins the cue ball
around the angles in position for the red that's close to the side cushion. It's pretty good on the
but it's not perfect so Zhou ends up missing it and losing the frame. However he does take the
match eventually by 10 frames to three. I'm not sure what it is about this shot but I can't seem
to understand it and that's probably why I keep missing it. I can't work out exactly what I need
to do and how to play the shot to allow me to get the cue ball around the table at the same time as
potting the black. I've figured it out though and I've played it a little bit too hard. If I can do
roughly the same thing with less pace I'm gonna have a good chance here. It's going on a nice line
will it stop in the correct position? Yeah that's about as good as I could do there I think.
Judd Trump's just missed the reds altogether twice in a row and is in danger of losing this frame
when he decides to play a thick shot off the left hand red and gets the double. He almost
certainly didn't play it but I feel like we can get this if I give it a go so let's see how many
attempts this is going to take me. Straight away I'm not too far off with this one but it seems to
be a little bit of an awkward angle where you almost seem to want to over cut it or hit it
too straight. There doesn't seem to be that bit in the middle where the pocket is to be able to
easily aim at so this may take me quite a while. However this shot seems to be going close so maybe
it won't. Up against that after a chance goes wrong for John Higgins he's forced to play safe
and from here Mark Selby just wants to attack so decides to play the cross double and get the
cueball off the bolt cushion and then the top cushion for position on the black ball. From here
he go on and take this frame but end up losing the match by 10 frames to 8. It's definitely an
attacking shot but it doesn't appear to be too difficult. I've just about rattled it in there
however the cueball isn't going at the right speed or the right direction and has ended up in the
top pocket so I'm going to try it again hitting it a little bit harder. It's coming back off the
top cushion this time but again it's close to the jaws. I'm on the black but I would have liked to
have made that break wider. So which of these was the cheekiest double? Mark Selby's shot is pretty
good and it scores him three whereas Judd's shot is just ridiculous even if he didn't play it
because it made such a big difference in the frame and that's why he's this week's winner.
We've got a Sean Murphy shot coming up next right after we find Adrian in Adelaide Australia which
we can just about squeeze in there. In a close match between Sean Murphy and Judd Trump, Sean
plays this impressive snooker escape from behind the brown. He comes off two cushions landing
perfectly on the red on the top cushion however it doesn't help him out too much as he ends up
losing this frame anyway and eventually a close match by 10 frames to 9 against Judd Trump.
Because my cushions don't break as wide as they do on TV I'm having to play this with a lot more
left hand side. I've actually got the hit there but I got it off the second red first so I'm going
to try and play a little bit wider with even more side this time and I've got down for the red about
as good as I can. Couldn't really do that properly though. This next shot is recommended to us by
and it's also this week's danger shot and that's because Zhao Xingtong is managing to get the
snooker here in behind the green and there's very little room to do it. In fact he's also incredibly
close to getting a double kiss on the red here and just avoids it. This is going to be incredibly
tough to get anywhere near it so I'm going to have to speed it up a bit I think unless I'm very
lucky. I'm going to have to judge both the speed and pace correctly to get anywhere near it and
even if I do it could still go wrong so let's see how many attempts this crazy shot takes me.
As I suggested it's actually quite difficult to avoid the double kiss and get the cue ball near
the green at the same time so I'm struggling to get the line right and every time I do get it right
I slightly overdo it and end up the wrong side or lose about the speed on the cue ball.
However we've slowed things down here so this looks a lot better. The white's coming up near
the green just a fraction short. I've actually got the snooker just not behind the green.
So while I'm trying to get this right I'll remind you if you want to submit any shots you see in
upcoming tournaments and get me to play them just leave a comment on any video and the more
information you leave the better so the match, the match score, the frame score and which specific
shot it is. As long as I know most of that I should be able to find the shot you want me to
play and play it. I've slowed things down again because we're getting close and this looks better
this time. I've actually tucked this one right in behind the green I'm happy with this. Last time in
the best shots from the world open you voted for shot E to be the winner from Mark Williams
and this impressive two cushion cannon to leave him in perfect position. So congratulations to
Mark and this time you get a chance to vote for the best shots from this video and the tour
championships in general. You can do so for free using the link in the description and I'll announce
