AI GeneratedChels shares her go-to \"heavy\" everyday makeup routine while providing a personal life update. She discusses her journey with acne, her transition into a business degree in college, and her evolution toward a darker, more authentic aesthetic. The video combines a step-by-step beauty tutorial with a heartfelt conversation about self-confidence and academic stress.
Hi, Luckies! Welcome back to What Else, Chels?
Today, I'll be showing you guys how I do my everyday makeup, which is this look.
Usually, I go out without much makeup anymore.
But on the days that I decide to do heavy makeup, this is my go-to look.
So without further ado, let's get into the video!
Let's do some skin prep before we get into the makeup.
My two simple skincare steps are these two products.
First is this red blemish toner from Dr. G.
And I just transferred it into this little spray bottle.
And then after is this COSRX moisturizer, the Oil-Free Ultra Moisturizing Lotion.
So I just spray it like that.
I go in immediately with this moisturizer.
Rub it across my face.
I actually have a note here because I don't know what to talk about.
I'm pretty shy, guys.
I haven't seen my YouTube Luckies in such a long time and I really miss you guys.
So next step is some toner pads.
While I get into my skin prep, I'm gonna talk about my skin changes, basically.
If you guys have been watching my old videos,
you may have noticed that it was very, not very bad,
but I would say it wasn't in its best condition.
I was the type of teen who struggled with acne most of her life.
I never had clear skin, basically.
I noticed my skin got better once I started becoming less stressed
and my subjects became easier or the workload I had in college was easier.
While I let this set, I usually go in with my lashes.
These are my lashes.
They look a bit overwhelming.
I agree.
Let's start with this eye.
Now that it's curled, let's go apply our falsies.
The primary reason why I was away for a long time on YouTube
was basically because I was so busy.
I'm currently in second year college and I'm in a business degree.
I've been trying to really focus on my academics.
So yeah, that's basically the reason why I've been away.
I'm pretty guilty about it just because I know you guys are super supportive.
Now that a very busy period of my life is kind of over,
I'm back to making videos.
So these are my lashes.
Very big difference from a few minutes ago.
This is my primer.
I got it from Zoom by Jung Saem Mool.
I put a few on my T-zone.
As you can see, as you can see,
I've fully embraced whatever aesthetic I want going for myself.
And I'm super happy.
Now that my skin's better, I usually only use this concealer and go out.
But just for the sake of this video, I want to do a bit more.
So going back, growing up, I liked less bright colors.
Even while I had my old videos posted,
I still had a different aesthetic than what I was portraying.
But I was just really shy that it wouldn't really be what you guys wanted to see.
It's my channel.
I would want it to be as me as possible.
And I know there's some luckies who are just like me, who like the darker things.
So hopefully, you guys find some comfort in my channel.
There are two foundations that I switch between.
It's this Clio Kill Cover Mesh Blur Cushion.
Or this Choo Choo Beauty Skin Tint.
Between the two, I really can't choose because they serve me a different purpose.
When Clio came out with this, it was perfect for my skin.
I really like a mesh lining.
This cushion is my holy grail.
I would recommend it to everyone.
I take the tiniest amount and then I put it on here.
Then I don't go over my whole face.
I just put it in the areas that I think need more coverage.
So my main skin issue right now would just be acne marks from before.
And I'm really not complaining.
It just takes time to heal and I'm willing to wait.
Now that it's gotten better, I've gotten more confident in myself.
If any of my lookies are struggling with acne problems, it too shall pass.
Or maybe check your stress levels.
It could be just that.
So I usually go in with some contour slash bronzer.
So the contour I'm using is from SheGlam.
This is the Dual Ended Contour or Bronzer Liquid Bronzer.
I'm telling you, this is one of the best things that I've ever decided to start using.
So this is the placement of where I put my bronzer.
Watch how this snatches my nose.
I blend it out.
It now has some dimension.
Then I go in with a bigger brush and just blend out the bottom.
So now that the base is done, we are moving on to the eye makeup.
So for my eye makeup, I use my trusty eyeshadow palettes that you guys have probably seen.
Just this one and this one.
I get these two shades and swipe it across my entire eye.
This isn't really too much aside from get rid of the oils.
Okay, next I'll be getting a contour shade.
I just go in with this shade.
It's a sort of grayish nudish shade.
And connecting from the inside all the way down.
This is my trusty, trusty Canmake gel liner.
You see that gap between my eye and the lash there?
I fill that in.
And then I go up and then away.
Oh my gosh, you guys can see.
No, no, no, hide it, hide it.
Now that we're done with the eyeliner, let's move on to the egg yourself.
So these are the two things that really make or break my makeup look.
I go in with this stick from Alternative Stereo.
It's this balm.
I really like it since it's not super shimmery.
Then I go in with the other one, which is this glitter shade.
And I put it here in the inner part of my eye.
So now that the egg yourself is complete, I go back in here in this under part.
And I fill in my triangle zone here.
But I don't really mind my eyebrows a lot.
It's just some clear gel.
These are just how my eyebrows look like.
Next step would be the blush.
So now what I'm going to be doing is what I like to call the Yuta Okotsu blush placement.
Yeah, if you guys watch JJK, great show by the way.
He has these like eye bags, almost purplish, kind of dead eye bag look.
I saw that and I was like, I need to have that.
You go high up here.
Are we getting the vision?
Cute, we bare bare, puff.
Really near your eye.
My favorite JJK character is actually Ghetto.
And you guys will hate me.
But I love Mahito as well.
Okay, next step is highlight.
I go in with this flower nose highlight.
Drip on my nose.
And also at the bridge.
Ta-da!
As you can see in this video, my lips are creamy.
My lips are brown and over lined.
This is the AOU blending lip pencil.
I go over it like this.
And then I just go all the way down.
See, immediately there's like a different layer of lip.
We go in with the base lip, which is this lipstick from MAC.
I just get this and hood it.
So now that it's super neutral, it's super muted.
I go over it with the Laneige Glaze Cray's tinted lip serum in the shade cinnamon sugar.
And we're done!
So let's do my hair and I'll show you guys the finished look.
So luckies, I hope you enjoyed this little makeup video slash update slash yapping video.
