Lara interviews Mark Lynch, a South Carolina businessman and political newcomer challenging incumbent Senator Lindsey Graham in the Republican primary. Lynch recounts his 2020 confrontation with Antifa in Greenville, where he and armed militia members showed up to defend monuments and prevent potential violence. He outlines his political agenda, which includes pushing to remove Senate Majority Leader John Thune, eliminating the filibuster, passing the SAVE Act to require voter ID and proof of citizenship, and pursuing accountability for what he describes as widespread government corruption. Lynch also addresses attacks from within the Republican Party, including his support for attorney general candidate David Pascoe, and reveals that he and his wife invested $5 million of their own retirement savings into the campaign. With the primary vote imminent, Lynch positions himself as a grassroots fighter against the political establishment, accusing Graham of splitting the vote by backing last-minute candidates and of holding a conservative voting record he characterizes as disqualifying.

Welcome to a special edition of Going Rogue with Laura Logan.
We are doing something we don't normally do,
which is a shorter format interview.
And our guest for today's show is Mark Lynch,
who is running against Lindsey Graham in South Carolina.
Mark is a father and a grandfather,
very successful businessman who has run his family's furniture business for a
long time, growing it into a multi, multi, multi-million dollar business.
But none of that is what impressed me about Mark Lynch.
The reason we're doing this interview with this candidate,
which is something I don't do very often either, is very simple.
When Antifa showed up in his town,
he showed up and fought back and stood up to them.
And that is not something that you see very often in now political leaders who,
if you're looking at the Senate, for example,
that Tillis and Thune and other people like that seem to prefer to lay down for
the enemy than stand up and fight.
So I agreed to joke to Mark Lynch. Mark,
I wonder if you can take us through what happened when Antifa came to your town.
Sure, Laura, and thank you for having a special edition show and getting us on.
You know, we,
we saw during that summer of 2020 when everything was burning to the ground all
over the country and all of these sanctuary cities,
we saw on the news Sunday night, the week before they came to Greenville,
that at Stone Mountain, Georgia, at that park, uh,
Antifa and Black Lives Matter showed up and their leaders on the,
on the news that night, Sunday night news that told their people,
they filmed it. Don't bring banners anymore.
Bring your assault rifles and shotguns. And so we,
we caught wind that they were coming to Greenville the next weekend on a
Saturday.
And our mayor gave them a protest permit from like 1030 to three o'clock.
And so, you know, that morning, a couple of us, uh, my, of my friends,
we went and I, I strapped on my M4.
You can carry a long gun in South Carolina.
We had to keep our pistol concealed,
but we could take our M4 and our chest rig. And we got there. And then, uh,
uh, a militia showed up from Lawrence, South Carolina,
and they had their documentation from the secretary of state, Mark Hammond,
and three or four of these big jacked up macho trucks pulled up and these 15
guys jumped out. And I said, yes, the Calvary's here. And, uh,
if we hadn't have gone there that day like that,
it would have been a different day.
They tried to burn our history museum down.
And that was about a four blocks away from where they came up to where we had
Confederate statues and a Confederate cemetery in our city on main street,
Greenville, all these thugs, you know, and we know who Antifa with,
who they are. They all announced that, you know,
working for Patricia Kohler's and all these people and communist and jihadist
parties,
they had a sign about 30 feet wide and 10 feet tall that said F U C K
America on it and defund the police. And they're staying,
they're standing on their side of the road,
spouting all this garbage all day that we had to listen to. And, um, you know,
I told one of the guys, I said, the only spray paint, I said, don't be stupid.
The only spray paint that'll hit that statue could come out of the back of your
head. This is Greenville. This is our city. We're not in Portland, Oregon.
I was born here and we'll put up with this.
But at three o'clock when your protest permit ends,
how are you getting to your car? You're defunded.
And these 75 police aren't going to protect you. You know what the police did?
Local police and sheriff's departments,
they formed a parallel line like football pros come through and high five
everybody to enter the stadium of a game. At the beginning of a game,
they gave them a parallel line to exit the grounds.
They were staged on protesting all day, cussing us out,
telling us how horrible America is and, uh, promoting their themes. And, um,
they were able to get out, but, um, that was a, that was a different day,
you know, and I'm glad we carried our weapons there because they did.
And so we'll, we'll see what happens, you know.
You know, Mark, the thing about that story that matters is, um,
is really, it comes down to one very simple thing. It's called moral courage.
You know, it's called who are people in that moment when you're tested,
how are you going to behave? Well,
you were tested in that moment and you,
you guys didn't sit there and do nothing. I think this,
this country is just absolutely weighed down.
It's literally weighed down with the weight of all these people sitting there
doing nothing while it slips through their fingers.
They're either in denial or they're being lied to and deceived by,
by much of the media, you know, or people just are afraid to get involved.
And this is not a time where people, if they,
if people think this is sort of an ordinary election or this is an ordinary
moment in history and you know,
power is going to swing back and forth between Democrat and Republican,
the way it used to, this is not an ordinary time.
So this is not a time for bureaucrats. This is not a time for weak leaders.
This is a time for warriors.
And when you are willing to go down and face Antifa,
especially in that time,
that was before they were declared a domestic terrorist organization,
but when they were already terrorizing the American people,
that says a lot about your character. Okay.
And that's why I was willing to talk to you.
But I want to know what it is you're going to do because the other front in the
same war is the U S Senate. It's disgusting,
absolutely disgusting what is happening in the Senate,
that the president of the United States of America who was elected with an
overwhelming majority,
who has a majority in the house and the Senate cannot get anything done.
So I just want to hear from you. What are you going to do?
Cause are you going to be one of those people that gets into the Senate and then
goes along with what everyone else has gone on with the Mitch O'Connell cabal
that's in there sort of, you know, controlling things. I mean,
how do you break the stranglehold that these traitors have inside the Senate?
You know, for many years, our business is we're a retailer.
We sell appliances and TVs and bedding and furniture.
And we belong to a multi multi-million dollar buying group called the
nationwide marketing group. And we have 3000 dealers.
We're in the top 80 in the brand builder division.
And when we have 3000 dealers in a room and a manufacturer comes in,
this hosing us and they're,
they're catering to the big box stores like Lowe's and Best Buy or whatever.
And we have a chance to talk to them and express our grievances.
People are afraid they're,
they're scared about losing their deal or their whatever, you know,
they're afraid to talk up and we have mic runners in the room and they'll bring a
mic over to me and say, Mark,
you're going to have to kick it off cause nobody will say anything.
And when I speak up to these vendors, I have no fear of other men.
I'm not afraid. It's an honor to have their products on our floor.
I understand the dichotomy of that. We're the customer,
but we don't have to sell anybody's goods. We're the brand.
Jeff Lynch Appliance Center, our family business of 74 years, debt free.
We're the brand and we don't have to sell anybody's stuff.
And so when I speak up,
then people will stand up and they'll start talking because somebody's got to
take the lead and get something started. It's just like the SAVE Act,
which is just crazy. We've been talking about this for, I think, 420 days now.
Well, that was Lindsey Graham done sitting on it, right? That's how long.
And if we don't,
if we don't require an ID and proof of citizenship in this country,
after Lindsey's allowed over 22 million illegal aliens to come into this
country, that's a sad day.
And so I'll form a Senate committee and we'll bring up a motion to vacate John
Thune and move him out of the way and nuke the filibuster and get to doing
business again in this country and serve our citizens in the country that are
wondering, when are we going to get a different news story?
We watched the same thing for over a year and nothing ever changes.
I started calling Pam Bondi out March of last year.
You talked about the Epstein file list. What are we doing?
When are we going to start seeing arrest?
And if our attorney general in America won't do her job, what's,
what's the problem with that? Is she involved in it? Is that it? Or she's,
she's just irresponsible in her job. It really doesn't matter,
but we need to remove her and bring somebody in that'll bring justice.
America's furious with nobody getting arrested.
Well, Pam Bondi is gone.
Pam Bondi is gone and not missed by many people in the country. That's for sure.
And what you're talking about is accountability. And it is, you know,
for me,
it is the number one issue in the entire country because people are still
stealing elections because there's been no accountability.
People are still committing treason because there's been no accountability.
People are still in that side, all these government agencies committing sedition,
right? Subversive action, subverting the government,
because no one's been held accountable. I could go on and on and on.
The CIA is still running roughshod over the country because no one there has
been held accountable. I mean, some people have been fired.
That is not accountability. And I know that you say, you know, you, you,
you know, you're critical of Pam Bondi and, and so on, but being critical,
you know, the American people are getting enough exposure, right?
I mean, one after another, after another, people are exposing things.
People are now, you know,
feeling free to be critical about certain things and yet nothing is getting done.
Nothing is going to change. I know your opponent, Lindsey Graham,
has been there through all of this.
And I know you love to talk about all the things that he has and hasn't done,
but I just want to know what is a convincing reason to believe that you're going
to be different?
You know, I'm a fighter and I know how to execute the last three yards of
something. When we set up,
when we set a finish date and we do that in our business,
we do that in our personal lives. We set in,
in place of a way to achieve something.
And we finish, we get it done. We couldn't have existed. We're the,
we're the David and Goliath. We have fought all the big box stores.
We've had them all at the same time.
We're one location and I've grown this business 35 times and God's the
owner of this.
And so we have his favor and blessing and we have an awesome staff.
I know how to surround myself with great people.
I'll do the same thing in the U S Senate. I've done all my life.
I'll have seven strong, solid Christian,
faithful men that are empowered to come in my office and hit me with a
two by four or pour ice water down my back.
If I get the seed and start doing something stupid, I would never tell Jesus.
I'll never deny you. Peter was done when he said that my prayers don't let me
deny you help me not deny you.
And so I'll have in place accountability teams and we'll,
we'll have our attorneys and people in my Senate, uh,
office on my staff,
give us the law and make sure we're working with the right people that are
strong.
And we'll go into the Senate chambers and have bills that'll pass and that will
go through.
And I'll lead that and we'll make sure America knows what we're doing and we'll
keep the people that are not voting that are hiding and bringing up a filibuster
or whatever it is. We'll expose them. You know,
we've been doing that for years with the freedom index,
exposing our scorecards of our,
of our legislators that work for you and I.
And when they go in like Lindsey Graham or whoever,
and they have a conservative voting record of 43% or 57%
constitutional lifetime voting average, that's treason.
He's not America first.
He's serving the democratic communist party and that's who he is.
And so we're going to start getting stuff done and I'll get these guys in the
restroom or in the lunch break or in the Senate halls.
Strong guys or strong girls.
Yes. Whoever's there serving,
are you going to go with us or not? Because this is going to happen.
And we're doing this and it's time. If you say you're a Republican,
it's time to honor the oath to defend the United States constitution and
defend against foreign or domestic enemies from the oath that we take and be a
true God fearing Republican patriot. Instead of a trader,
Lindsey's selling us out.
These other guys in there that have a horrible voting record that don't stand on
common sense things that we need to pass in our laws, in this country,
in Congress, this it's treason. Like you said,
we're all tired of it. America's furious.
And that's why I'm running because people know me as a leader in the community.
They know me as a successful debt free businessman,
and I know how to get things done. And it's easy when you're, you know,
like I am, I'm an ordained Deacon. I'm a,
I'm a let my yes be a yes and my no means no.
And we're not going to compromise and vote on bills that have 10 negative,
horrible things for America to get one thing.
We're going to get back to single issue bills and fight to keep our freedom.
We're just a vote away from losing this country. Now, not a generation.
We're catering. We're in trouble. You know,
don't you have a chapel in your store? Yes,
we have a chapel and two pastors on staff and we teach the word of God every
Tuesday and Thursday morning.
That's the most important room in this 132,000
square foot, uh, business we run.
Our people are our greatest assets.
So Mark, you know, you brought up your opponent, Lindsey Graham. I was,
when I was doing my homework, I've known Lindsey for a long, long time. Um,
but when I was doing my homework, I was surprised to come across a post.
It was actually on your, um, ex account, but it was Lindsey at a,
at a Trump rally in South Carolina and
he was not well received by the crowd. Um,
I mean, we're going to, you know,
we're going to play that video and let people take a look for themselves.
Thank you very much. Thank you.
All right. Thank y'all. Thank you all very much.
Welcome to Pickens County.
A little bit about this county.
Pickens County has more Medal of Honor winners per capita than any place in the
nation. I was born in this county.
I live 15 miles down the road.
This is a place where people pay the taxes,
fight the wars, and tell you what they believe.
How many of you believe that Donald Trump was a great president?
Well, let me tell you a little bit about me and president Trump.
What happened? I found common ground with president Trump.
It took a while to get there folks, but let me tell you what happened.
I started to like president Trump and he liked himself and we got that in
common.
And I'm going to help him become president of the United States.
Let me tell you why I want to help president Trump.
I was on the front row of his presidency and I've never seen anybody this tough
for America. How many of you have heard the phrase,
we like Trump policies,
but we want somebody new. Have you heard that?
Let me tell you this, without Donald Trump,
there are no Trump policies.
Okay. So what was really odd about that for me, Mark,
was that Lindsey was kind of, I mean,
he was not very nice about the president at a Trump rally where people were
booing him. And it was, I mean,
I know that Lindsey loves the political game.
He told me that himself at a dinner in Washington DC once. I mean,
he just loves the politics. He loves the backstabbing.
He loves the backroom deals, the front room deals, the whatever, you know,
that's something that I would rather gouge my eyes out than do. But for him,
that was, you know, that's his Superbowl, right? He loves all of that.
And I just wonder how difficult it is to see unseat someone like that who's been
around for so long. And if you're seeing, you know,
one of the standard tactics that I've witnessed being used all over the country,
both on the Republican and Democrat side is to muddy the waters in a race like
this, where you've got a, you know, a strong opponent.
They throw in these last minute,
not serious candidates to try to split the vote has.
And I see, you know,
that there's four other people in this race in South Carolina.
And these are the four guys all sort of registered really late.
I think it was like March of 2026. And, um,
and I just wonder, you know,
it seems to me that this is probably a moment where most of the people of South
Carolina have had enough of Lindsey Graham and are ready for a change,
but you're up against the establishment.
And what I have witnessed all over the country is that grassroots candidates
are getting completely and utterly screwed by the Republican establishment in
many places, not all.
Yes. I mean,
we've been blocked on a couple of new shows where we've had interviews and
they've, they've been canceled the last three or four days. You know,
Lindsey spent up to $27 million fighting me,
which is just insane.
He spent more money trying to trash me than he has talking about himself.
You know, he has Trump's endorsement.
Everybody's questioning that as making Trump look bad and Trump's polls are,
are falling.
And they have been all year in South Carolina because everybody's scratching
his head with this guy that stabs you in the back every chance he gets,
how can you endorse him? And I, you know, I, I love Trump.
I voted for him six times. Lindsey didn't, I did. But, um,
you know,
we know a saline Senate majority and Trump's just using Lindsey Trump's smart.
He's a business guy.
He knows the game of politics and he had to endorse him so he could control him
and get his vote, like for the big,
beautiful bill and some other things because Lindsey will pull probably two other
Republican senators with him and how he votes.
He did when he voted on all the judges, uh,
the Obama Biden picks and judge Herson that, that, uh,
vetoed and blocked Trump's executive order to sign a bill.
When he first got in this time, again, the first couple of weeks,
Trump wrote a bill, an executive order to pass, uh,
to end the transgender child mutilation surgeries and judge Herson
blocked that. And that was Lindsey's judge that he voted for. And so, um,
you know, all the stuff and the lies that have come out,
I'm the only candidate he's attacking.
And this is a high office position for us Senate.
And for these four new guys that have never been in the race,
when we filed in February of 25,
these guys filed the last week in March,
the last week you could file in South Carolina to run for us Senate.
You don't file 60 days before the vote for a us Senate primary.
Lindsey's putting these people in to split the vote up and he knows it and we
don't. And the voters know they do it all the time. They do it in the primary.
He's doing everything he can to save his seat for power and money,
but it's ending. I'm sorry. He's flushing.
The current polls have him at 46 and me at 36 and I don't,
I don't, I wouldn't,
I wouldn't be shocked if we win this thing right out on Tuesday tomorrow.
Well, how are you going to stop everywhere we travel?
That's what we're hearing.
Are you worried about cheating?
Uh, some, but we've,
there's been so much prayer going on these 15 months, Laura,
God's, uh, you know,
he's the owner of this campaign and a lot of people were skeptical when we first
entered. How are you going to beat a senior Senator Lindsey Graham?
And he'll have a hundreds of millions of dollars. I said,
let me tell you something. It's y'all's decision. I have,
I'll give you a viable candidate that will fight for you.
I'm answering the call. I'm willing to do this in my lifetime.
I'm not a politician. I'm not a lawyer.
I'm a successful businessman and a husband and a leader in the community.
And I'm willing to do this with my knowledge of the deep state and working with
the greatest national security people in the country. You know,
we have general Mike Flynn's endorsement, you know,
John and all those guys that have been fighting Islamic infiltration in
America, South Carolina,
I've been on their board serving them since 2014 in the same fight.
That's how I got in this. I'm fighting to protect this country.
And while Lindsey's trying to start world war three and make millions of dollars
in it with, uh, you know, some of his biggest, uh, donors like Lockheed,
Martin and Boeing,
I'm worried about the Islamic infiltration in America.
And we've had a training camp in York, South Carolina for over 30 years,
a G hottest training camp, one of 132 camps.
So we've been working with the police and put them through three day into action
courses,
helping them understand how to fight Islam at the local level with John and I
doing that. That's how people met me and said, man, you need to run for office.
Um, so here we are. We're in it.
And I'm the willingness that I have with my wife and I'll just say this last
thing. And we've been blessed being debt free,
talking to Roger stone. Roger said, Mark,
Trump will want to see two things from you,
your polling and how much skin you have in the game.
We put my wife and I prayed when we started this last February,
we moved $5 million out of our retirement fund to jumpstart
the money. This campaign's needed. We've almost spent it all.
And so we're investing everything we have to make this happen to fight for you.
Help me get there. It's up to a South Carolinians. We can do this.
That's how we, that's, it doesn't matter how much money Lindsay has.
The owner of our campaign owns all the cattle of a thousand Hills, God.
And so we're not going to spend much more than that.
We've received a good many donations and it's happening.
And then she's never had a threat like this before.
Let's talk about, um, one of the,
one of the obstacles that you're facing.
And one of the things I did notice researching you, you know,
and your race is that you are attacked a lot.
It's it's quite incredible. And that's always a great indicator for me,
because when I see that someone is, um, that there's a, uh,
a very active, well-funded, um,
sort of motivated, highly motivated, um,
smear campaign against a particular candidate, um,
that's always an indication for me that I need to look more closely.
And, um, surprisingly, some of the attacks on you,
quite a lot of the attacks are coming from the right.
I suppose it's not really surprising since this is a primary, but, um,
one of the things that didn't help you, um,
was the you are supporting another candidate who is running for attorney
general, David Pascoe and David Pascoe was singled out by the president and
others, but most importantly,
by the president as someone who was a Democrat and who, um,
and was not, I was,
I think he was accused of being a Rhino candidate and so on.
And so your relationship with David Pascoe and your support of David
Pascoe is being used against you by the right, um,
and others, uh, to discredit you.
So, I mean, I would like you to give you a chance to speak to that and tell me
why you're supporting David Pascoe. Is he really a Democrat?
And I know that you're a big supporter of president Trump.
So I know this is hard for you, but I also, as you pointed out, you know,
how politics works, the president is, is going to back people that he,
he's desk, he's got to preserve that majority in the Senate.
And if possible to widen it, because at, at, at the moment,
there's so many traders in the Republican party in the Republican, uh,
dominated Senate that it's not helping him. So, um, he makes, you know,
he makes calculated political decisions and he may not have all the information.
So, you know, you're, you're a,
you are a sincere Trump supporter and you fight for many of the things that he
fights for and believes in. In fact, you know,
don't hear a lot of daylight between your positions and his, um,
in many respects, not all.
And so I just want to give you a chance to address this.
Yes. So I've,
I've met David Pascoe and I've heard him speak many, many times.
We've been at some of the same forums and speaking engagements across the state
during this whole campaign season. And David Pascoe is a warrior like me.
And one time when he spoke, he said, people call me a wolf in sheep's clothing.
He said, let me tell you something. I'm a wolf in wolf's clothing.
And in Orangeburg, South Carolina, where he was in solicitor,
this last term, uh,
he ran as a Democrat because it's a Democrat County.
It's a, it's a blue County in South Carolina. Like a lot of them.
I've met sheriffs in the lower part of the state that ran as Democrats so they
could get elected because when they ran as a Republican, the earlier term,
they didn't get in because it's a Democrat County. So he did what he had to do.
He's more conservative with a D by his name than our people that have an R by
their name. And so, uh, Joe White,
one of our best most respected state house representatives in Columbia
talked to David Pascoe a year ago. And he said,
it's time to run as a Republican and the County representatives in Orangeburg
said, yeah, he needs to, because that's what he is, you know,
but he's the only one that has put people before the death penalty.
He will bring up a bill to have a death penalty for anybody that abuses and
rapes children. He's already said that publicly several times. And, uh,
I've got him. He's willing to talk. If we can,
I can bring him up with my phone and, and let you hear him.
He's the guy we need because the other guys, they're, they're good.
They're Christians, but they'll,
they'll falter on the hard things that they, they'll, they,
they won't pull the trigger on the real things.
And David's for law and order like you and our Laura,
and that's who we need. And, uh, and I,
I told one of the guys in a speaking engagement, I said,
Trump was a Democrat too. Remember he's a Republican now.
So it doesn't matter what people used to do. And like, like me,
David's getting attacked by the same PACs supporting Lindsey Graham,
the same corrupt attorneys in the state house,
because they're scared to death because they're going to go to jail.
That's what's going to happen.
This corruption in our state house will come to an end.
And we need people that are true fighters that won't compromise.
And that's David Pascoe. And I'm sorry, Trump's picks are wrong.
Sometimes, you know,
Trump's come up against me because I wrote on truth social about a year ago,
our, our campaign team did that. We're we're,
we wish more people in Congress were like Thomas Massey and Matt Gates and
Marjorie Taylor green. Why?
Because Thomas Massey has a 99% constitutional voting
record. Yeah. I endorse that.
I endorse anybody that holds their oath to the,
to defend the United States constitution.
And if we had more people like that,
we wouldn't be having this conversation right now.
And I wouldn't even be running if we had true Republicans in the Senate.
So, and in the house,
there are lots of issues with some of those people that you mentioned. I mean,
Marjorie Taylor green, you know,
meeting with code pink and other leftist organizations. And I mean,
we don't want to get into that and muddy the waters here. Um, Mark, um,
you, uh, you have your hands full with the, uh, with the race coming up.
We wish you good luck, you know, may the best man win.
I'm sure if you have God on your side, you, you know, it's his will. Right.
And so, um, I know you've put in a lot. I know you put in everything.
I know that you and your wife have put in everything into this. And, um, uh,
I know that you have promised, uh, to keep your promises.
And if you do make it, if you do win against, uh,
and beat Lindsey Graham out and then make it to the Senate,
we will be holding you to your word.
Thank you. Um, thank you for standing up and not being, uh,
one of those people just sitting back waiting for someone else to do the work.
I always say you can't complain about the results of work you didn't do. So, um,
that is appreciated.
We'll be watching the race closely and we look forward to talking to you again.
Thank you, Laura. And I appreciate you and what you've been doing all these years
too. Well, thank you. There's a lot of work to do there. The labors are few.
Hang in there.
Thank you. Thank you everybody for, um, being, uh,
for watching going rogue with Laura Logan. Thank you for, um, listening.
You better keep an eye on that race in South Carolina.
If you want to see how Mark Lynch is doing voting is, uh, Tuesday.
And, um, and, uh, as always my message,
thank you for being bold enough to go rogue with Laura Logan.
