Check it out, folks.
We got a brand new puppy, and in this video,
we're gonna be talking to you
all about this brand new puppy,
and more importantly, if you stick around to the end,
you can learn how you can actually win this exact puppy.
Stick around to the end, we're gonna tell you all about it.
Before we go any deeper,
we gotta introduce my incredible family.
This is Stephanie, my wife.
She's been in a lot of our videos.
This is my daughter, Aria, just turned 10 years old,
and has been a huge helper
when it comes to raising and training pups,
just like this one right here.
But the first thing we wanna actually talk to you about
is who is this stud little McMuffin?
This is an 11 1⁄2 week old Italian Mastiff,
also known as a Cane Corso,
and we've got him from Max Tran
of Maximus Kennels out in California,
and he's not just the pick of the litter.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is over 20 plus years
of developing the breed to be the best that it can be.
This is the pick of all the litters that he had.
The number one, the one that he was actually
holding back for himself.
All right, Garrett, after a lot of thinking,
this one here was gonna be my future show dog,
but for the giveaway, I would be honored
if you would train this boy
and give this boy the best home ever with our giveaway.
This dog is incredible.
I wanna talk a little bit more about
what it is that makes him so incredible.
So I already told you, this is the whole bag.
This is what Max is gonna keep for himself.
Already has identified that this boy here
is gonna be a stud McMuffin grand champion,
the best of the best.
What is it about this little guy right here that you like?
What do you think?
Who wants to go first?
It's like bulky, not like narrow,
doesn't like long.
He has a big head.
Yeah, it's big.
If you know nothing about the Corso,
it's all about the size of the head, the shape of the head.
Meaning you can have a Corso that's built like a stud,
great shoulders, great physique, great,
if the head is not right.
Not only does it disqualify them
from even becoming part of the confirmation,
we've had a lot of Corsos here,
probably that breed more than any breed on the planet.
We've seen a lot of Corsos come through
and we train them, it's fine,
but it's very few and far between
do we have an absolute showstopper.
I would tell you in the six or so years
that we've been training dogs for other clients,
I would say he's like the second,
maybe the third one in six years
that I'm like, wow, wow, wow is right.
That's a stunner.
And it's funny too, man,
you know this is the daughter of a dog trainer,
you know this girl's seen a lot of dogs
when it sounds like we asked her to say that,
she said that on her own.
So for a 10 year old to call out the head shape,
she's not wrong.
This dog has an incredible head shape.
Is there anything else about him that you like?
He cuddle tonight, he doesn't bite.
He's falling asleep as we speak.
What you see is what you get with this dog.
What we are hoping for,
especially for a dog that we could eventually give away,
the temperament of the dog.
I cannot give away a killer.
I cannot give away a dog that has so much drive
it's just gonna drive you up a wall.
And so far, so good.
I mean, he's checking all the boxes.
He's got the look, he's got the build,
he's got the color.
His eyes are incredible, head shape's incredible,
but the temperament, very well balanced.
When in drive, like when we're training for food,
an 11 out of 10 on food drive.
Will bite your fingers off.
Very smart, very focused.
Looks you in the eyes.
Incredible, but then when it's all said and done,
the training's over, he's got a full belly.
This is it.
He's not ripping up the carpets,
he's not running laps around our house.
He's a very confident little guy.
He's very curious.
He's really brave.
Not overly cautious like a lot of puppies are.
Like he's just very comfortable here,
right out of the gate.
There was no adjustment period needed,
which is unusual, you know?
We've seen this on the regular.
We train.
Oh, we get a lot.
All kinds of dogs, and of course a lot of them
come with problems.
We get a lot of raisin trains here,
and let's just say not all dogs are created equal.
It's not even a breed thing,
though it does run pretty rampant in the breed.
Very defensive, very fearful, but unnecessarily.
Probably sounds like I'm selling you something.
I ain't selling you nothing.
I'm telling you, this dog is hand-selected by me and Max.
This was the pick of all picks.
Max said, I'm just gonna lay it all on the table, man.
I'm gonna give you my best of the best,
and so we got him, and I couldn't be happier,
so thank you, Max.
Appreciate that.
Yay!
So let me tell you what I think about him.
The nicest looking puppy I've ever seen.
Hands down, period.
Also, the coloring blue, it hearkens back.
It kinda pulls in my heartstrings.
Our first Corso, Xiphos.
You know, he's not with us anymore,
but there was a moment where I was holding him,
and it took me right back to when Xiphos was his age.
I'm like, oh man, we got something here.
So anyways, great temperament, great drive, great looks.
I just, I haven't found a fault with him yet.
Not a fault yet.
When it's all said and done,
there's a big chance that he could go to you
if you get involved.
How do you get involved?
Well, there's two things to be aware of.
Number one, in order to be eligible,
you have to be part of our community.
How do you get involved there?
Every dollar spent at DIYK9.com
on any course or any membership,
all designed to help you raise and train
your own personal dog or puppy
to be the best that they can be,
every dollar spent there is one entry to win,
and after September 15th, when the sweepstakes closes,
then that is one entry to win.
We're gonna draw from that.
One lucky winner will have the chance
of those things we described,
25K cash, tuition to our academy,
the opportunity to purchase this puppy with the voucher,
or have us train your own personal dog.
Now, that being said, there's more to it.
This is called a Build a Puppy series for a reason
because inside of our community,
our community members who are involved in sweepstakes
are actually gonna help us build the puppy.
What do I mean by that?
The first thing we gotta do
is we gotta name this little booger,
and so only our community members
get to throw a name in the hat,
and then collectively, we're gonna look at all the names,
see which ones rise to the top,
see which ones get voted on,
and then we'll probably do a poll
on the last final three, five, 10 names
that we all collectively like,
and the community will decide what this dog's name is,
what commands he learns,
what language he learns them in,
what tricks he learns.
Is he gonna be a protection dog?
Is he gonna be a service dog?
A lot of that also is based on the temperament.
Does he have it?
Can he go down that path?
Which is an open dialogue between us
and our community members
where we're getting all the behind the scenes
because there's more to it as well.
They're gonna be watching us raise
and train this puppy step-by-step.
Every training lesson, every potty break,
you name it, all the highs, all the lows,
and that is actually what I think is more valuable
is watching the process of how we professionally
raise and train this dog to be the best that it can be.
Every single thing you need to know
so that you can get your own puppy of whatever breed
and follow along step-by-step and raise it and train it,
and those courses, those lessons
will always be there for you,
but also the involvement, the community involvement.
We would say it takes a village to raise a child.
Well, it's gonna take a whole community
of our DIY and canine customers
to raise and train this puppy to be the best that it can be.
Now, something to think about
because we're gonna have some naysayers,
some negative Nancys.
What do you think about them, negative Nancys?
I don't like them.
Yeah, I don't like them either.
So there's gonna be some concerns.
I already see you all keyboard warriors going at it.
Garrett, you mean just anybody can win this puppy?
Seth, what do you say?
No.
No, hell no.
Hell no.
We've already put those protections in place.
Just because you win the voucher
doesn't mean you automatically get the puppy.
We are gonna be putting that person or family
through the most stringent, selective process
you could ever imagine.
This dog is not just going anywhere.
So the point being is that person could win.
That doesn't mean they get the puppy.
That means they get an opportunity to purchase the puppy
if everything checks out and then some.
If we have even a shadow of a doubt,
I'm sorry, you just won't get it.
So that's first and foremost.
We had to have that box checked.
Now, if he doesn't end up going to the home of the winner,
we have a couple other things that could happen.
First one being-
Your wife will keep him as a birthday gift.
There you go.
Yeah, because September is her birthday month.
So I already love this dog.
He's incredible.
It's gonna be very hard to give him up,
but we could absolutely keep him
and you can continue to watch him grow and excel
and be maybe the second most famous Corso on YouTube.
The other option that's still on the table
as well as you guys will be watching him grow.
You'll be watching him develop.
If he does everything we expect him to do,
he is gonna be an incredible specimen of a dog.
Fully trained from great breeding stock.
If there's a family out there
and all the boxes check once again
that wants to purchase him, that may be an option.
All right, so we brought in Fano
for this little closing segment and this is the thing.
There can only be one winner
and the only way that you can win
is to enter to win by getting involved
in our courses inside of our community.
Now that being said, everyone inside of our community
is already a winner and you could be a winner too.
What do I mean?
You're gonna see behind the scenes step-by-step
how we raise and train a puppy just like him
to be the best dog that he can be.
There's a lot of people out there
talking about the perfect puppy.
We're gonna show you what perfect looks like.
We're gonna show you how we achieve that
in all of the behind the scenes,
the highs, the lows, you name it.
And so even if you don't get to win him,
you're gonna learn, you're gonna now know
what it takes to raise and train your own personal dog
in the future or now to be the best that they can be.
So either which way, you're a winner.
Really looking forward to seeing you inside
of our community.
You can get access to it now.
And remember, it closes September 15th.
So whenever you're watching this,
if it's not too late, jump in.
We'd love to see you inside.
Thanks for watching.
Like, share, subscribe.
We'll see you in the next one.
Thomas, you're messing up the shot, buddy.
You're messing up the shot.
We'll see you on the next one.
