This is my first time seeing a trainer talk at the Dolphin Nursery. I forgot how high dolphins can go during behaviors, so I apologize for a few out-of-frame shots.

You can see with that behavior it's called a vertical spin because
basically she's jumping straight up out of the air and spinning around at the
same time. All right, Miss Dash is going to head
back to her trainer and I can take whoever's next.
Perfect. Looks like we have Miss Haley who's going, or actually sorry Ariel,
she's going to be showing off one of her modified behaviors called an alien.
So you're going to see Miss Ariel's run. She's going to be running all the way
towards the front of the habitat. She'll be right here in front of Alyssa.
Alyssa, can I receive her real fast?
Perfect. So Ariel's going to be making her way to the front of the habitat now
towards the glass barrier. Now Ariel here, she's actually the
oldest member of our pod. She is 34 years old.
She is our youngest, oldest member, but she also gives out a lot of fun things.
So here's Miss Ariel right here in the front.
Now if you're wondering what that alien looks like on the front side, let's see
if we can show it. Let's go. So as you're going to see, Miss Ariel's
going to make that same run all the way down. She's going to make a big loop all
the way down, and she's going to jump up right here in front of us.
And a little bit of a splash warning. Great job.
All right. And I think we have one more member of the pod who we have to meet.
In the world, Miss Megan. Perfect. So Miss Haley is now going to make her way
over to the habitat. Haley is also one of our other adult females.
She is going to actually be a one-time mom as well.
So this is Haley for everyone up in the front.
Now Haley does a really cool modified behavior that we like to call a
vectoral bow. So basically there is a jump that they know that is called a
bow, where it's like that classic dolphin jump where they're going to get their
head out of the water first, and then they're going to dip it back.
There we go. Haley knows how to modify that, actually doing it upside down.
Here goes Haley. Perfect job, Miss Haley.
Perfect. Miss Haley is going to make her way down back. Well, we want to thank you
guys so much for coming out and visiting us here at our Dolphin Nursery. If you guys
have any questions while we are still in the middle of our training session, we do
have two lovely educators who are more than happy to answer any questions you
guys may have for us. But if you have any questions for us
trainers specifically, we're going to be giving 100% of our attention to our
dolphins at the moment, and then we'd be more than happy to answer any questions
after our training session. But thank you all again for coming out and
visiting us here today, and we hope you all have a great rest of your day here
at SeaWorld. Bye, everyone!
