Hello New Build Show, it's Hannah and today we are just outside of London in Tunbridge Wells
having a look at this stunning four bedroom detached property priced at 1.25 million pounds.
I can't wait to show you around so let's head inside.
Welcome inside and what a breath of fresh air it is. So light and airy, got loads of natural
light and these beautiful spotlights. Now for a new build I have to say the proportions in
this property are incredibly generous. It's like a TARDIS, you'll see what I mean a bit later.
But hallway, this is great. People underestimate how important it is to have a nice open space
as you come home so this is lovely. You can probably spot a couple of rooms off here,
we'll obviously see those later. Beautiful stairs leading up to the four bedrooms. We've got a
lovely oak bespoke handrail here and I think you can get away with these black spindles. It's a
nice juxtaposition because as you can probably tell the colour palette in here is very bright
and neutral. Under here, you know I love a bit of under stair hidden storage and we have some here
and oh it pulls out and we have the Bow Property Bears. This is the perfect point for me to say
that these homes, there are seven homes on this development, built by, there we are on this t-shirt,
Bow Property. There we go. I should say though, five of them have already gone. Yeah I know,
there are two left, this one included. So if you like what you see, you've got to get in there quick
and I'll tell you what, you can be in quick. One of the properties just at the back, I'll show you a
bit later, from signing until moving in, four weeks. These guys move quick, they don't mess
about. You could be in before Christmas. Love that. Right, I'm going to take you straight through as
you can probably tell, see all the way to the garden and the main living area and we're guided
there with this beautiful whitened oak herringbone flooring. So follow me. What did I say about the
proportions? Honestly, I'm a little bit blown away by the size of this room. Remember this is a new
build, so we've got your kitchen, living and dining room, which a lot of new builds do have but not on
this scale. And there's such a lovely cohesive flow throughout this whole ground floor, which
is helped by the fact that we have the same flooring. This is actually luxury vinyl tiles,
very durable, very hard-wearing, easily wipeable. Come on, this is a family home, you need something
that's going to be easily maintained and it works very well with the underfloor heating, which you
have throughout the whole property. I know. Okay, let's start over here in the kitchen. I really like
the layout of this kitchen and where it stands. So this is the heart of the home, isn't it? This is
built for entertaining, you can see everything and this island is absolutely massive. It is practical
but it looks incredible as well, helped by this marble-inspired quartz worktop. It's lovely but
it is very porous and very soft, whereas this, much more hard-wearing. You don't have to worry
if you spill some red wine on it. Just in front of me here, we've got a breakfast bar as well, so
perfect if you are hopping up for breakfast or again, if you're entertaining, perfect for having
a little glass of wine. Another spot that I think is great though, if you are throwing a party,
a little window seat. It's just extra seating. Oh, how's it going? Yeah, looking out into the garden.
Now, this is a slim shaker-style kitchen in ash. This is in ash, so basically a shaker-style kitchen.
It's a lot thicker frame around all of the units, whereas this is a lot slimmer, so a bit more of a
rural charm to it. And then we have two ovens by Neff. All the appliances are very high spec.
We do have a cooker tab, of course we do, in this brass tone. There's quite a few brass finishes
around that just warms this whole place up. Butler-style sink. Moving along here, I think this
is such an elegant extractor fan. I actually didn't know it was an extractor fan to begin with. It
looks like it could be a chimney breast or something, so it's all hidden under there.
And it means that you get these lovely niches here that aren't only practical, you know, maybe
put your saucepans and everything, or nice ornaments and nice little down lights there.
The lighting in this place, oh, I'm always about the mood lighting. Backing up again, we have double
fridge and double freezer. And space-wise, storage, you've got absolutely plenty. There is so much.
All soft clothes, more of these brass finishes to bring it all together. We've got...
Okay, oh, double bin. Very practical. There's a lot of storage. What have we got? And that is
left again. But storage is not going to be a problem in here, because you do have through
here your utility boot room. So let's have a little look at that now. This is bigger than
my kitchen. And it's pretty much set up as a professional laundry. This is great for doing
all your steaming. You've got space up there for all your nicely ironed sheets and everything.
This is great. Loads of space for your tumble dryer, your washer. As you can see, it has got
the same aesthetic and design as the kitchen. So a great flow again. Sink. I mean, this is
absolutely perfect. You also have access onto the garden as well. So once you've come in,
you can take your muddy shoes off into your lovely kitchen. Back into the kitchen, past this
fabulous kitchen island. I didn't mention earlier, but look, we have a waterfall edge. Very elegant.
And more storage. And then look in there. They didn't have to, but it sees little extra touches
that elevate this property. We've got beautiful wood inside, a nice warm tone, which is nice
because it is quite a white kitchen. That's lovely. And more storage under here as well.
Right. We're moving over into the dining area, which is nicely zoned out with this rug.
We have space here for six people, but I think you could easily get 10. You know,
have an extending table, big parties, family gatherings. This is such a light and open space.
Helped with these huge sliding doors. I mean, I don't want to know how much those cost or how
tricky they were to put in, but so worth it. Look at this. And then you go out onto your lovely
garden again. Probably not today, but come summer, slide these open. You've got patio space,
put a barbecue out there. Beautiful. And they've also landscaped the garden. They've planted
new trees. So give it a couple of years and they will become beautiful, mature trees,
giving you a little bit more privacy. And it's touches like that that really differentiate
between your standard new build and a Bo property new build. You know, they are future proofing it.
They're thinking about how you want to live here. So, yeah, lovely. I mean, this is just a proper
turnkey property, isn't it? You're in. So once you finish dinner, you can retire in your lounge
area, which, again, has been nicely sectioned off with another rug and just chill, have a chat,
read a book. And this is a bonus area because you also have another lounge at the front of
the property, which is where we are heading next. So back in the entrance hallway, that's the front
door. That's the lounge. Before we head in there, I just wanted to point out we have a downstairs
WC. Very handy. We have this lovely pocket sliding door, which is simply a space saver.
You know, you don't have to worry about opening a door in and out of the hall. Whoa. And then here
we also have the same courts that we saw in the kitchen. Hello. Welcome. Let's just take it down
a notch. It's very calming in here. This is lovely. Not a TV in sight either. That's where it would go,
let's be honest. But I would just come here to chill. This is lovely, isn't it? I mean, the colour
palette, the soft furnishings, Bo property, right, do all of their own interior design and house staging.
OK, so if you like what you see under separate negotiation, of course, this could all be yours.
What did I say? Turnkey. I'm home. I just this is beautiful. This this I want love the use of
mirrors. Don't ever underestimate the power of mirrors and lighting. They just honestly they
just make a property. But this is absolutely beautiful. I love this. All of the wall is
So very soothing. Very nice in here. Yeah, I'm going back to where I started.
Right. That's the ground floor done. It is bedroom time. Let's head upstairs.
Right up on the first floor, we have transitioned into cozy carpets and what is often a very
neglected space has certainly not been here. Look at this ample hallway. It's very important,
I think, to have this space nice and open with all of your rooms coming off of it.
And they've been very clever here. Loving the panelling just creates a bit of depth and
character. But they've also included some hidden storage. I mean, I can't remember it is.
Oh, here we go. Clever, clever, very practical. And there we go. As it closes a nice, seamless,
clean space. So we've got three bedrooms and a family bathroom on this floor.
Upstairs, we go up again to the principal suite, which is amazing. But first, I'm going to take
you through to the guest bedroom. I mean, guest goals. I feel like I've stepped into some kind
of luxurious hotel suite. Everything from this bootleg bed to this curved headboard,
fluted backdrop with this hidden LED lighting. Oh, you'd have a very peaceful night's sleep here,
wouldn't you? We've got a vanity unit just behind Tom there, or you could put a wardrobe in there.
And this one comes with an ensuite. And first things first, I can feel that underfloor heating.
We've got underfloor heating throughout the entire property. That's every floor. Very unusual
in a new build. But if that wasn't enough, we've also got a heated tower rail. And Tom and I were
joking this morning that when you do, you know, a show house, if they don't turn the heating on,
they can be freezing. So they popped it on for us. And I'll tell you what, it is doing its job.
But because it uses an air source heat pump, very ambient. Anyway, big sink, massive shower,
floating toilet and beautiful tiles throughout. And I do need to mention this very bougie,
very luxurious make of Jesse. It's an Italian make. They do fixtures and fittings. And it is
at the highest end of luxury. OK, so definitely extending that feeling of luxury hotel into the
bathroom. Right into what is clearly the kids room. Oh, it's so cute. But it's a great size.
So as they get older, plenty of space to have a big double bed here. Wardrobes, chest of drawers.
I do love this sort of painted headboard. A little nod towards a mini kids version of a canopy bed.
Now, speaking of kids, the area that we're in Southborough, beautiful idyllic Kentish village
has some incredible schools, very prestigious grammar schools as well nearby. And in terms of
the location, you've got Tunbridge Wells, which is about 10 minutes away. Really bustling. Great
for family life. But if you want to go out into London or you work there, it's only about just
over half an hour away on the train. So you do get the best of both worlds. Rural tranquility
with the hustle and bustle of the big smoke. So this is the family bathroom that the kids
bedroom and the next bedroom share. And this is not a bathroom I would mind sharing.
The hero of this room has got to be that sunken bath. Beautiful. I love these extras.
So we've got the shower. Oh, look at that. That is so cool. Very neat. Uncluttered. We've got
these marble inspired tiles everywhere. Another floating toilet just makes everything feel very
clean and tidy. Another huge sink with storage. Big walk in shower with a rainfall shower head
as well. OK, so just before I take you around, I presume this is a boiler, but I'm not sure I
haven't had a look at. Look at this storage. I live in London. OK, I'm not even joking.
This could pass as a bedroom. This could pass as a bed. Oh, my goodness. Actually,
just with a pillow, I'll be 500 pounds per month, please.
What? This is unbelievable. OK, so I'm assuming this is made. Is there an attic as well?
Because otherwise this would be Christmas tree. This would be Christmas decorations.
Oh, my goodness. Look at that. What a nugget. Golden nugget. All right, then. Last bedroom
on this floor. I mean, it's another amazing size. The interior design, you can tell they
had a lot of fun. They know what they're doing when it comes to interior design.
Really want this mirror. I love this sort of like asymmetrical pebble style mirror that they've had
a few of. You might see them dotted around. But yeah, great size. And I can just see out here
through these black aluminium frames. Again, you can get away with a bit of black contrasting to
the nice neutral palette that we have here. It's double glazed. This whole property is incredibly
energy efficient. I can see as well out the window an EV charging point. We've got a resin driveway,
ample parking space, and I can just see some of the brickwork, which took about six months for
them to source because they were very keen on standing out and making themselves look different
to your normal new build, which is typically darker brick or red brick. And I have to say,
it really does make these shine. We have definitely saved the best till last. And that
is saying something because what we have seen is brilliant. This is the principal bedroom,
but it's not just a bedroom. It is a suite, nay a flat. OK, first of all, the size of this bedroom
is humongous. I also love that we are here in the Eves. You get these lovely architectural
details here that gives it a lot of character. So you've got a vanity unit over there.
You've got a seating spot because why not? You've got the space. Let's use it. Can you imagine
just bringing a coffee up here in the morning? This is a dressing room. I would absolutely love
this. We've got loads of natural light from these skylights. So another vanity unit here.
This could also be a tiny little office, you know, get away from it all if the kids are being noisy
downstairs, but plenty of space for your clothes, your bags, hats, shoes. Oh, love that. Then this
is storage. This is storage, which keeps on going. OK, if you're ever if the kids playing hide and
seek. Sorry, you've won. You've won. That is just I don't even know what you put in there,
but it's just fun. So good. So good. And then this is the bedroom that keeps on giving.
Wait until you see this en suite. You can't call this an en suite. You can't call this an en suite.
It's absolutely huge. We've got a double vanity unit here. I love the use of all of this raw
material. They've done so well with the textures, with the materials, whether it's wood, cotton,
wicker. Then I've never seen a showerhead like that. God, that would drown you.
Does it mean I think that's amazing? Love the tiles. Look at these fixtures and fittings.
This is more Jesse. We've got lovely, huge tiles here on the floor, floating toilet and again,
a freestanding luxury bath. And I mean, it wouldn't be a proper tour if I didn't give it a
go. My goodness, it's massive. Drown in this. I just absolutely huge windows, natural light,
bathroom of dreams. But it doesn't stop there. OK, there's one more treat to show you.
Probably not the best weather to showcase this feature, but for you guys, we'll do it.
OK, let's see if I can actually. Oh, OK. Yeah, there we go. This is I've never seen one before.
A Velux balcony window. What an ingenious contraption. How wonderful would that be
on a sunny day? Just let's get a close up of that.
Well, that's been Whitecroft Gardens. So if you've liked what you've seen,
there are only two left. So make sure you get in touch with Bo Property. Their details
are in the description below. And we'll see you again for more new builds from around the UK.
Hello, it's Hannah and welcome to the new build show. I'm here to show you this gorgeous house
in Bury, which is 30 minutes away from Manchester, priced at £725,000. So let's have a look.
