AI GeneratedBobby Pierce claimed his 54th career victory at the World of Outlaws Land of Lakes Classic at Ogilvie. The race featured an intense, multi-lane battle with frequent lead changes between Pierce, Jonathan Davenport, and Nick Hoffman, characterized by aggressive \"slider\" moves and several cautions that shifted the momentum.
The World of Outlaws Land of Lakes Classic underway on a Monday night here with the
Outlaws. The seven-year wait is over underway. Pierce and Davenport we hope you got your popcorn
ready. What a blockbuster front row. Offer owner number four Turbo trying to throw the slider on
Pierce for the second position. Davenport comes around to lead lap one. Pierce back around the
one and Tyler Irv for the second spot. Now Tyler Irv with another slider here in turnover two.
Pierce gonna cross him over down the back stretch and reclaim second.
Another slider. What a racetrack here at Ogilvy. The line give Drake Troutman the position. He
makes it official up to eighth in the 22 star. Tim thinks of a slider. Nothing there. Now Pierce
slider on Davenport. Down the front straightaway. Business picking up. Bobby Pierce to the lead.
So second different leader of this one. Pierce caught Davenport and claims the lead. Now
Davenport gonna look to his inside slide jump for the lead. Offer corner number four. Oh man
what a race this is going to be here tonight. It's not over. Davenport reclaims the lead.
Pierce now back to the inside of the 49 of Davenport for the lead. He's got it. Davenport
gonna cross him over there side by side down the back straightaway and in turnover three.
Davenport with another slider. Pierce with a crossover. Does he make it stick? Oh right across
the nose of Davenport and Bobby Pierce has the lead with 31 laps to go. Pierce up the racetrack.
Davenport looking back to his inside. They're still Hoosier to Hoosier down the back straightaway.
Davenport up the racetrack. Isn't gonna get a good exit this time by that ruined his momentum
and Bobby Pierce will have the lead with 30 laps to go. 27 laps to go when they cross the line
this time. Davenport with high side momentum. Superman back to the lead. Pierce right around
the top side. Now Hoffman in turbo going at it. How about Hoffman throwing the slider for the
podium position. Tyler Erb has spoiler damage in the one off a corner number four. Davenport
will hang on to the race lead but now Pierce to his inside. Did Pierce get him? No. Two hundredths
of a second separated him at the line. It was Davenport's nose first across the loop.
What a great battle here but the Dave Warren Powersports caution is out. Another heartbreak
for Drake Troutman. Pierce picked the bottom that gives Hoffman the top side and Nick Hoffman three
wide for the lead. Davenport knocks the spoiler off of it in turn number two. Oh man or is that
the right rear quarter panel off a corner number four. Battle for the lead. Pierce and Hoffman
down the front straightaway. Can Hoffman be the third different leader on the feature? He is.
Pierce throws the slider on Hoffman down the back straightaway. Hoffman out of the inside of Pierce
and McCready's off the pace down the front straightaway with a right rear detonated on the
Dave Warren Powersports number nine. Oh man heavy damage for your race leader who was your race
leader Jonathan Davenport. Pierce picked the bottom again that allowed for Hoffman to roll by him on
the last restart. Now he has Guston to his outside but this time Pierce able to fire off nicely
around the bottom and hold off Guston. Oh man Guston you could see when the air got taken away
from his nose how that car reacted there in turn number four. Guston able to dip down low once again
he'll have the third. How about Trey Mills MD3 rookie of the race right now in the 14. Mills
started 11th in the 14. He goes to the inside of Tyler Erb. Turbo will have the position at the line
and we'll see if we stay green here. Pierce throws the slider but the caution is gonna fly.
Ryan Guston has to beat the 32 to the bottom of one and two. They're three wide for the lead
down the back straightaway. Nick Hoffman leads it. Now Guston gonna go to the inside for the lead.
The reaper up the racetrack. Hoffman's there and off of corner number four. Nick Hoffman continues
the lead. Bobby Pierce in second. Ryan Guston right there in third. Fourth is Mills. Fifth is Tyler Erb
down the back straightaway. Bobby Pierce somehow to the lead down the back stretch. This time just
10 laps to go. Nick Hoffman in command. It could be anyone in this one at the line. Pierce has it
by 13 thousandths but now the Barrett's performance one lap to go. Trying to go back to back with the
outlaws and get a dozen wins on the season. Bobby Pierce had an epic battle with Davenport. He had
to reel him in. A great battle for second on your screen. The nine of Hoffman getting around the 19
are Guston trying to save some points here but off of corner number four. Winning at Ogilvie
the smooth operator Bobby Pierce. Race fans how about it for the 54th time of his career. Wins a
banger tonight the smooth operator Bobby Pierce. Oh it was so much fun. JD we had a heck of a race
man. That was so much fun. Hoffman, Guston. That was probably race of the year for those first 30
laps. Thanks to those guys for racing me very clean. Just going at it man. Turbo in the beginning
we were throwing some sliders. So it's great to have a racetrack to do that on. You know Ogilvie
tonight was so wide. Bottom, top, middle. Just everything allowed us all to race around you know
multiple lanes. So I don't know what happened to JD on the restart there. I was kind of wondering
if he missed the line a little bit. It's a tricky line up there you know. You make a couple little
holes. So but that's what let Nick get the lead and then on it was a heck of a race. So once again
just awesome racetrack. Thanks to Ogilvie for the for the fun track. This is what this is why
Outlaws come here. You know it was a it was one of those hidden gems. So it's great to see they got
an Outlaw race. Hopefully we come back in the future. Thanks to these fans coming out watching.
Thanks to my crew for their hard work. Yeah thank you guys. My dad, my mom, Justin, Darian,
Kong, King Kong, Langdon. My wife Abby watching back home. She had to go home this week.
She'll be back though Deer Creek. But man what a race. I mean in the beginning once I got the second
once me and Turbo through a couple of sliders I got the second. I felt like I tracked JD down
just you know he had about six car length lead there and in like two laps it went down about
two car lengths. And every time I got it rolling though caution would come out and it seemed like
on a restart I I had to get a couple laps going to really get my momentum back under me. So
every time we got it going a caution come out. But I tell you what for every caution that kind
of got me the the one that helped me out was when Gustin I picked the top and Gustin was on the
bottom and he beat me on the restart and that caution came out for debris. So all the unlucky
cautions we got one lucky caution. But I mean the car was good. It was good all night to go out there
on this slick track and set second quick time. You know there was no cushion to get a hold of or
really any traction lines. So we had a good car and I gotta thank my sponsors quick before I go.
They without them can't do it for sure. So Churchill Transport, Low Voltage Solutions,
Collins Brothers Towing. I don't know how James did and I hope they did good. But James Trantino
shout out to all them. They're local up here. River Bottom Dog Training is another Minnesota
sponsor. Tonight we actually have Four Star Logistics. Cole Schill shout out to him. We got
C-Log Transportation, Rio Grande Waste Services shout out to AZ-4, Exit 210 Saloon Watching,
Carnegie Towing, Auto Repair Back Home, Steininger Construction. Oh yeah I did. I
saved buddy. I said how'd you do tonight? But all my other sponsors Longhorn Dynamics,
Olin Shocks, Swiss Springs, VP Fuels, Pure Max Oils, Vick Hill Engines,
Steininger Construction, Fort Knox Safes and Vaults, American Racing Wheels. Just thank you
everybody. For live coverage of every World of Outlaws event and for extended on-demand race
