These past few days I've actually changed my study routine. While before I used to
do time sets of 100 questions in 90 minutes, now I'm giving myself a full 2 hours just
to do as many questions as possible. I think since my scores have improved quite a bit
now I just want to focus on training endurance because I found that when I sat my exam last
year it was a full 3 hour exam and I really struggled to focus for the entire amount of
time. This time I want to focus on training my endurance and making sure that I can really
deep focus the entire 2 hours that we'll be sitting our exam. Especially since this time
we're going to be having 2 back to back 2 hour exams. So if I don't practice like this
I really doubt that I'm going to be able to focus for 4 hours on the day. But also guys
big news, look what came in the post today. Well actually it was a few days ago but I
wanted to unbox it today. It's my 100k plaque and I've been literally waiting to unbox this.
I'm so excited! This is so cool, oh my god. It's so light, that's so weird. I wasn't expecting
it to be so light. It's like hollow inside. What do you think? Presented to Jessica Lau
for passing 100,000 subscribers. YouTube, play. Ding! Kelly's doing an artistic- Kelly's
doing an artistic- Thank you Kelly. Maybe I should have put it in like- Why are you shaking?
It's so much pressure! As someone who loves vlogging her everyday life, I'm super picky
about what cameras I use to get the perfect angle the first time around. I spend enough
mental energy as it is trying to get through med school, so when it comes to vlogging I need my
camera to require approximately 0 brain cells. Which is why I've been using the Insta360 Ace
Pro 2 as my everyday camera. It's sleek, it's compact, and it has pretty much every single
setting you would need to create immersive and engaging vlogs. That and it's super straightforward
to use. There's no learning curve, you can just pull it right out of the box and hit record. And
the quality is insane. It shoots in up to 8K, plus the Leica colour profiles are a super nice touch.
You can change up the moods and colours in your shots to give them the perfect vibe without having
to spend hours colour grading them in post-production. I've also been using the Explorer
Grip Pro Kit, which makes handheld filming much steadier and gives mini DSLR vibes without the
effort. It's really good for street photography too. And my favourite part about this camera is
you can connect it to the pocket printer. I used to carry my Polaroid around everywhere with me
and it would never fit in my bag, but now I just need to take this one camera that fits all my
needs. You can print out your favourite pictures to give to friends or use them to decorate your
walls or journals. Plus, since you can select the exact picture that you want, there's no wasted
film. If you'd like to get your hands on your own Ace Pro 2, they're on sale for Prime Day from June
23rd and you can get 20% off plus some free gifts. I am just about to head out because my sister is
taking me on a full fun day of activities. She has organised us to go to two separate pottery
experiences. Also, just wanted to quickly show off my outfit today because I think it's so cute.
My sister and I have matching joggers. Hers are in a different colour, but we decided to match today.
These are from Alfred Eden.
Sunny day today.
What's up with us?
What's up with Eden?
Okay, ready, ready?
3, 2, 1, go!
There we are!
Exciting.
Just keep spinning.
Just keep spinning. It will work out.
I cheated.
Me and Kelly have finished
our pottery making session.
And now we're on to our second schedule of the day, which is pottery breaking.
I brought a snack.
Wow, you came prepared.
Oh my god.
This whole pot place smells good.
Thanks Jess.
I've got Jess's work here.
She has very nice, elegant lines
outside and inside.
She's flexing hard on all of you guys.
3, 2, 1.
This camera is so cool.
Oh yes, by the way, I'm the owner.
Are you?
I'm sorry.
It's just the way Jess said it.
Guys, we just finished our ceramic session
and it was so amazing.
The host, Brandon, was so nice, super nice.
And if you guys ever need a fun activity
in London to do,
then make sure you go check out Kimborough UK.
They were so sweet and so welcoming
and it was such a fun activity
so I really recommend it.
What do you think, Kelly?
10 out of 10. Amazing.
Me and Kelly have come to the next door
hot pot place and we're just about
to have some hot pot now
to finish our day.
Look, we've worn aprons three times today.
Yeah.
Thank you.
Good morning. It's such a bright and sunny day today.
I'm just about to head out to go to hospital
because I have a clinical skills
day today. Because our exams are coming up
and our OSCEs are coming up next week,
we have a half day session
where we can come in to the clinical skills centre
in whichever hospital you choose
and they give us free time to practice
procedures, examinations, and anything
clinical that we could be assessed on.
So it's really important that I attend today.
I also did my makeup a bit differently today.
I don't know if you guys can tell.
It's mainly the lashes. I've gone back to my old
cluster lashes because all my extensions
are falling out. I kind of love it.
It's such a nice day today.
Have you seen the temperature next week?
No.
It's 40 on Tuesday.
It's like 37, 38.
It's summer!
We're at the hospital. Let's go.
Can we take some breath?
Yes, you can.
This is good breath.
Oh my days.
That's blurring of the optic disc
margin. Is that not palpitation?
That has to be.
Yeah, it's palpitation.
Come on, limited supply.
Face sprays, limited supplies.
We've just finished our clinical school session.
We managed to do everything except for
pediatric BLS, but since we just finished
RP's rotation, we should be pretty solid.
We are on the way to
watch Valorant Masters.
We're going to watch Paper X vs.
UDG.
Yay!
Are you ready?
Oh my god guys, I'm literally
looking and feeling so crusty right now because
it's so hot in London.
I'm sweating buckets.
Yesterday I went to watch the Valorant Masters
tournament and it was so good.
I really wasn't expecting to enjoy it as much as I did
but I was honestly having the time of my life.
It was amazing.
I found a team to support as well.
And now it's a brand new day, I'm at home.
I'm actually just planning on staying at home today
so it's going to be very very boring
and I won't vlog today.
But I just wanted to show you guys a little
PR haul, a little package
that I got from my good friends at All4Eden.
They sent me some new clothes
which I'm really really excited to
unbox and see what they look like.
I'm actually most excited for
this long sleeve shirt right here.
I think this is part of their like super
breezy, airy collection so it's going to be
really really good for hot summers.
Look at the back, it's so cute.
And the quality, the quality is insane.
And I got this black pair
of joggers as well.
Ta-da! What do we think?
This is honestly such a unique colour.
I don't own anything green in my wardrobe so I'm really
I'm kind of digging it.
Anyways, that's all for today's vlog.
I hope you guys enjoyed this vlog.
It was such a random array of activities.
I hope you guys enjoyed anyway
and I will see you next time.
Thank you for watching!
