AI GeneratedRecent global seismic and volcanic activity has surged, highlighted by a devastating earthquake in Venezuela that left over 900 dead and 50,000 missing. Simultaneously, the Nevados volcanic complex in Chile has erupted. These events are part of a broader pattern of instability affecting the Philippines, Japan, and the Caribbean, raising concerns about increased tectonic activity worldwide.
This is big breaking news. A massive volcanic eruption just happened today. It's also being
confirmed by officials and authorities that 900 people at least have sadly passed away.
So let's get into all the details here. Lots of crazy stuff going on. I wanted to show you guys
this map that is incredible. You guys can see this is the seven day map for magnitude
4.5 and above earthquakes and it's just insane. There's been so many of them
and in the past 24 hours we've had another one hit the Philippines and another one hit Japan.
Alright so lots of big earthquakes hitting and sadly it has been confirmed that 900 people
have passed away from this big one that hit Venezuela. Alright you guys can see here
this is being confirmed out of CNN here. It's saying over 900 dead in Venezuela as rescuers
race to find quake victims. The first full day of global rescue effort is underway as thousands
have been injured after two of the country's strongest quakes in over a century. Alright so
they're saying up to 50,000 people have been reported missing. They don't know where they're
at. You know according to local reporting that people are making to say hey my loved one's gone
50,000 people are on this list now and 900 confirmed dead. That number could rise. It's
been rising every single day. At first they were saying it was like a few dozen then it was a few
hundred then I saw 500 earlier today and I saw 900. Alright later today so the number keeps
increasing and the more they do recovery efforts and things like that they're going to find more
people sadly. But let's get into this volcano here. A yellow alert has been issued for it.
This just erupted in Chile. It says right now ash pulse reported and then Nevados de Chile volcanic
complex in the Yubal region. For the moment technical alert remains at yellow level and one
kilometer exclusion zones around the active craters. Alright so you guys can see this volcano
erupting today and the Nevados range of the Chilean mountains. Alright and this is actually
on the same exact tectonic plate as Venezuela. Okay so this is the South American plate
and to the north where Venezuela is it is bumping up against and interacting with the Caribbean
plate. Alright let me let me show you guys the map here so you can see it a little better. So
alright so Venezuela is on the South American plate right north of it is the Caribbean plate.
Alright and there's actually been a lot of earthquake activity in the Caribbean just in
the past day. I mean you can see multiple earthquakes hitting this region. Alright
hitting San Juan, Santo Domingo, Puerto Rico over here and over here. Alright the
South American plate is rubbing up against the Nazca plate. Alright so that's why we see
lots of mountains and earthquakes hit this region as well and that's why we're seeing this
Chilean volcano the Nevados erupt as well. Alright so it's just it's been non-stop
tectonic seismic activity the past few days. We've seen big earthquakes hit California,
Japan, the Philippines, now a volcano Venezuela now volcanoes erupting in Chile.
What's going on? Alright it's definitely a very concerning sign and this is not normal
for modern history for what we're used to but for you know the earth's history this is actually
relatively normal. Alright in the past it's believed that volcanic activity and seismic
activity was you know way more active. Even in the United States we have tons of inactive
volcanic fields in New Mexico and Nevada and parts of Colorado. There's volcanoes all over the west
and they used to be extremely active just a few thousand years ago some of them some of them
hundreds of years ago they were active 500 years ago. Alright so we could see a re-emergence of
these volcanoes in North America as well. Alright so what's going on what do you guys think is
happening with all these different seismic and volcanic events that we're seeing? You're seeing
it says here at least 920 people have sadly passed and over 3,000 have been injured according to the
country's top lawmakers in Venezuela. Rescuers are racing to reach survivors beneath the rubble
before the quote golden window of time closes. It's already been two days two full days almost
since this happened and takes time to get the resources there but yeah people are not going
to be able to survive much longer. Many displaced families have nowhere to go in Caracas, Lagarra
and surrounding areas. Mounting frustration Venezuela was already mirrored in political
and financial crisis. Some residents are calling for civilian volunteers to help clear debris
saying the emergency response is insufficient. Doctors say chronic underfunding left the
healthcare system unequipped to treat the surge of patients. Alright something I wanted to mention
here too this yellow alert is for aviation and planes right to avoid this region due to
volcanic smoke and ash. Alright so this is affecting planes it's affecting lots of people
the U.S. military is responding as well bringing humanitarian aid and helping with recovery
missions and rescue missions. Global response to U.S. military is on the ground for rescue efforts
in Venezuela. Earlier this year special forces conducted a deadly raid. It says a wave of
machinery supplies and international aid workers is heading toward the hard-hit areas. So this is
the one of the worst ones they've had they're saying in over a century
and Venezuela you know a century ago was not as developed as it currently is and definitely
didn't have the population that it has now so this is probably their most devastating earthquake in
their history. Maybe one of the most devastating ones in South America and a lot of the reason why
is so bad is because the building codes aren't as stringent in places like that right a lot of
times you will have these concrete structures these mortar these blocks kind of stacked up
to make these high-rise structures but they're not reinforced with rebar they're not
you know up to standard or code or anything like that so that tends to make the death toll
a lot higher all right so I feel like we're overdue in the United States I mean honestly
we keep seeing these big ones just hit all over the world and I'm just kind of surprised
that we haven't seen any specifically along the west coast somewhere all right because we've seen
the ring of fire extremely active the pacific rim I mean you can just see most of the activity
takes place along the pacific rim and that's where most of the volcanic activity as well
and I'm just really surprised we haven't seen a bigger one hit California or even Alaska all right
Alaska has kind of been slipping by Mount Spur is not that far from Anchorage right it's like
70 miles away and we were getting warnings last year that it could potentially erupt it has
the magma chambers have backed off they're not as full anymore so they don't think it's as
imminent of a threat but all it takes is a big earthquake like this to happen and it makes new
pathways for magma to flow and reach the surface for an eruption right and that's what we saw in
Russia last year as well along the Kamchatka peninsula we saw an 8.6
hit and then we saw multiple volcanic eruptions of Khrushchev-Skoy and the crash Nenikov
volcanoes erupted in Russia shortly after right so that tends to be the pattern
and something to think about as well is that if you're looking at the earth from a global standpoint
Venezuela and Japan are almost antipodes so they're on the opposite sides of each other so
Venezuela's kind of like over here and Japan's kind of over here on the opposite side of the earth
and they actually had these earthquakes happen right after each other right so the Venezuela
had this double quake and then Japan had one I think it was like 25 minutes later
on the opposite side of the earth right and sometimes it happens where you'll have a big one
and then on the complete opposite side there will be another one all right so it's not it's not
completely accurate but it's just something to look out for and be prepared when you see one
like this you know so if you see a big one hit like Australia or something along those lines
then maybe be on the lookout in the U.S. all right so let me know what you guys think down below
I hope you guys are staying safe, staying prepared, staying stocked up, staying ready
I hope you guys have big blessings for your life and your family and I hope you have a big old
blessed day
