Video Summary
AI GeneratedThe presenter demonstrates a 1957 \"Christine\" style car equipped with a powerful K440 big block engine. The video covers a test drive to showcase the vehicle's mechanical reliability, lack of oil leaks, and overall performance, while also highlighting the car's aesthetic appeal in natural sunlight and discussing potential minor cosmetic upgrades.
All right, well back in the car again. I had to delete some video off this phone
We were full of memory. So now I got enough memory in here to finish this video. So
Here we are the car
the car most of the time will start in park, but if it doesn't you bring it back in the neutral and it'll start so
Right now what you're going to turn the ignition on
Up, you see it won't start. So you come over here and put it right to neutral right there
Then it should fire right up
And you see it's got some horsepower you can tell by what it sounds like there's our killer helen car
It doesn't have that kind of horsepower
but uh
This one does have some horsepower
You can see all the gauges right here temperature. You can see it's cold
There's the amps
Great oil pressure. There's the vacuum. You can see it goes down
What have you?
We're gonna put her in drive here
Take her for a little test drive
really easy steering
Sometimes when it's cold our first startup the the steering, uh, you know chatters a little bit
But once you start driving a little bit
Put some tunes on here
Car does stop pretty good for these type of cars
I mean doesn't stop like a modern car by no means but it does stop pretty good
Don't go up to the end of the subdivision
One thing good I didn't explain this car has no leaks in it
So it does not leak oil which is a rare thing for these. I think this is the only one in the garage
It does not leak any oil
So that's a plus
Horn works
And everything else works the wipers work the the blinkers work
all that type stuff radio
I kind of explained the power windows. Um
But most of the time you don't even put down the back windows anyway, and you just you don't do the side windows
so i'm gonna pull up here and then we're gonna
Put her in park
i'm gonna show reverse
Here she's going in reverse right now
We're gonna roll that window up there
Then i'm gonna roll this window up
Here we are outside
With the car running
And I wanted to bring it out so you can see the paint and finish this video
So i'm going to make two videos. They're giving a little bit of gas
So here's outside
This thing looks better outside than it does inside looking at this
Looks like a gorgeous color that shines in the light
You don't really see any of the flaws that I pointed out inside the garage
You can hear it's got a hell of a cam sound
Here's this side here
I mean look at this thing. It's gorgeous
To me, this is the car that you're buying. It's a car that you pull up at the car shows
you got you know mid 40s in it, you don't have six figures in it and
It's as bad as looking as any one of these
Christine type cars are out in the planet and I would make the argument that with this big block that's in there
Um and how it runs you'll beat most christines any day in a week this thing will uh
Chirp the tires and you could actually burn the tires off this thing if you want
That's what the previous owner used to do. That's what his family said. That's why he built this car
There's those killer stone guards
That are fiberglass fiberglass fenders. You can see what they look like out here
Again, this car looks better outside than inside in those lights, but I wanted to show the true
look of the cars
You can see it's got missing the weatherstripping here. This is all dry rotted. So I would probably change this out
It's probably original all the way on the car
Here's the inside here
It's almost 100 degrees here in st. Louis right now
So we'll go look at the temperature gauge and see what it's doing
Little mark right there little mark right there
here's this issue on the uh
This right here again
none of this stuff
You don't see it. I'm tripping on a rock here
You don't really see this stuff out here in the sun. It just it's such a gorgeous car. It kind of just blends in
There's the engine running alternator power steering
Get back out of the way here
I think you see when you get back here how mean this thing looks
again
painted bumpers
painted inserts on the car
nice stainless
Painted bumpers on the back
These emblems got a little bit of pot metal, uh damage on them. These fury emblems are are
Like show quality. They're really good shape
It's got a scar on the inserts that was there all these are the fury flutes
um
Obviously I explained the paint on the previous thing
One thing you got to be careful with is overfilling this gas thing and gas running all down the side of the car
Um, I had a guy in the past where gas gets on this insert and if it messes with the silver paint
You could tape it off and repaint it with that paint that's in the trunk
And then also that paint if you wanted to put some lower valances on you could do that
You could also put a killer, uh, 58
Valance on the bottom. I have one that i'll sell with the car for additional 500 bucks
If you want to put that on as a 58 to make it look more like christine
a lot of options, but I would uh
Run with this for a while and depending on your budget you can make changes to it or just leave it exactly like it is
But here is the beast outside i'm gonna get some more photos
and then uh
Gonna send the videos and we're gonna go from there
Have a great day from the state of missouri
And this is the 1957
Christine with a k440 beast
