Will My Dog JUMP Into the Swimming Pool? Or Just Float Today?

All right, so a couple vlogs ago we told you guys that there was like this crazy heat index thing happening here in Michigan and it's supposed to... we're supposed to get up to a heat index of like 102 this week. Today the day I'm filming this is Sunday. That is supposed to happen Tuesday. But it's already starting to get warm. The girls just had their lunch. I'm gonna let them chill for a bit and then I think we might go check out the pool. What do you think? I know I got the ACs on. I don't know where Eleanor went. Where'd you go, El? She's over here. Hi! Yeah, we're not going outside yet. Soon enough. I know that's not soon enough, but soon enough. What's going on over here? Are you already in the pool? Trying to get the hose, as always. He's picking mushrooms. You found more? I found a bunch today too while you were gone. Yeah, I got more. Oh, you guys were asking. Jamie was out working at the house today. We're probably gonna go out there for a little bit now that the dogs are tired and worm perfuming. See you later. She's drying herself off. Goofball. Yeah, progress is being made slowly. We knew it was gonna be a slow project and that's okay. It is really nice out today. Compared to what we're gonna be getting over the next few days, I will take some blue sky and niceness. That's why I put them both inside the house last time. You're gonna get all wet if you do that, hon. I can't get it like that. You would still get all wet, I think. You wanna try it? You tell me. Yeah, you're gonna get all wet. If you didn't just put your dry clothes on, I'd have you do it. She's like, wait but dad's got the rocket again. You got it. It's over there. I think I had to turn this like to half to actually make it work. It's supposed to start off slow. There it goes. But also because it's the the well, it doesn't hold as good of pressure. Oh, it's gonna do it. Go! They're like, whoa, hold on. I mean, it's pretty. The kids are gonna have a blast with it. Yeah. And it does make Kira happy. But it's put her in the house, set it up and that's how much fun she gets out of it. Still cute though. Still cute. Yeah, say thank you for sending it. We will still have fun with it. Okay, you have been mostly dried off with a towel. You didn't actually get very wet, so I just dried your paws off. Your face is a little wet. You have eaten. You've played for a little bit. Now you're so poofy. It's time for you to take a little nap. We're gonna go out to the house for a little bit. Eventually, maybe we'll be able to take you guys out there when we go working out there. But we gotta secure that yard before that happens. So yeah, we're gonna go do that. Chill out. We'll be back. We're gonna go now so that we don't miss your WALK later. We're at the house. It does have a really nice yard, which I don't know if I showed yet. And this massive tree and our own mystery spot. If you don't know what the mystery spot is, look up mystery spot St. Ignace. We have our own personal mystery spot. That shed is on a piece of concrete and that tree grew so big that the roots are just tipping it over. We were actually talking about pulling the shed off of there and then moving the concrete, possibly. But yeah, we don't necessarily need the shed. But that could always jack up the back corner and throw a bunch of dirt on everything. That's what dad was saying. You know, it's nice to be able to put something in there. So we'll see. I kind of like how it's all crooked. I kind of like how it's all crooked too. Makes me laugh. Hey dragonfly! So yeah, we're just slowly working on some things out here. We got a dumpster. So this is some of the stuff they left us. Some of it's just bottles and cans and clapping your hands. But there's like a couch back there that needs to go and some springs and so we'll have to go through some of that stuff. Look at that tree! Huge! Yeah, we're just out here for a little bit. Yeah, doing some... Look at this yard! It's huge! I could pour it in here with the RV. We'd have to put a second driveway in over there, which you never know. Might happen. I won't show you too much of what's going on in here but Jamie's been pulling out the old paneling and these hardwood floors we're going to try to save. And then in the bedroom he was pulling out the old flooring and there's hardwood floors in here. And he said he lifted this up that way. So it looks like there's hardwood floors in this whole room, which means we're probably just gonna keep these hardwood floors as well. And then he's hoping that the hardwood floors go this way as well into this kitchen area and we're gonna keep those as well. So that that'll save us a little bit. I mean there's this weird... But it's okay. It's aesthetic or something. We'll figure it out. Back from the house. Not as hot now thankfully. We do have the gate open. The dogs could care less that they could actually get in the pool right now because it's not as hot as it was earlier. Kira's like, this is my comfy spot. And Eleanor's looking for squirrels. She did chase one. She did. Yeah. She's like, there's more. So Jamie and I are figuring out what to make for dinner. So he's gonna play with the dogs and I'm gonna go get some chicken. I love when she when she walks in the grass is wet. I swear she's like, ew I don't want to touch it. Ew, ew, ew, ew. It's such a prance but it's different. Hi happy girl. But it's supposed to be really humid over the next few days, so I gotta make sure to get you really dry. And you're poofing. Look at it. Look at that poofy butt. Poofy as can be. Well we didn't see no bunnies till we got back to the house and then he ran into the bushes. So we saw our bunny. Saw some cardinals but didn't catch him on camera. But you got to see a kitty cat. Yeah it's pretty humid out so we only did one mile instead of two. Gotta give him a break and I gotta blow her coat out and it's getting late so I gotta go work on that. We have to do this because this is happening. Okay I yeah I know I won't do that again. We'll use the hose instead. Ma'am you are not even close to done. I did not do Kira. This is all Eleanor. All Eleanor. And over there and it's falling down from the sky. Holy bugs. I don't know if you guys can see the bugs right there but there's a million bugs in the sky right there. Huh it's floating everywhere. It's like snow. It's not even windy but your hair's floating everywhere. Good job Elle. Good job. You are not done and I can see big spots that still need to come out but you didn't want to let me finish. And I don't think we're gonna work on you today. We'll see. Maybe. Maybe for a minute. No because a minute means I have to do all of you. I think we're done. That one hair is gonna drive me nuts. Even more bigger floofs. I brushed her for a few minutes as well. You can see how the brush floofs. You're getting away today. I don't have the energy to do both of you. Holy cow. You do look better now that I brushed you though. Yeah you're super poofy.
