Keeping watch along Poland's border with Russia.
The guards scan the horizon.
And there are motion sensors that track every move.
This is part of Poland's multi-billion dollar effort to fortify NATO's eastern edge.
We're right by the border fence.
The Polish border guards are over there on patrol.
And beyond this barbed wire is Russia.
But we're not allowed to swing the camera and show the Russian territory fully.
Such are the sensitivities between the two countries at the moment.
Here we truly are on NATO's eastern frontier.
They take security seriously here.
Aided by intelligence shared across NATO.
An alliance that has helped transform the Polish military.
We've gone from being a recipient of security to a provider of security.
And this is evident, for example, in our support for Ukraine.
Polish industry and factories are, of course, benefiting from all of this.
And right now it is clear that the defence sector of the economy
is becoming a driving force for the entire Polish economy.
Poland wants to build the strongest army in Europe.
And is spending big on defence.
It's companies like this one that reap the benefits.
This huge amount of money which Poland spent on the military,
it's a huge opportunity for our company.
We secured probably the biggest contracts last month in our history.
Our income grew 12 times in the last four years.
Smaller manufacturers like this one selling drones to Ukraine and western nations.
Say Poland's NATO membership has opened doors for them too.
I'd say it's been helpful in a way that we get to interact with other armies.
US army, British army, Norwegian army.
But fuelling the defence boom is a sense of threat.
And Poland's faith that that will be a burden shared across the alliance.
