Senate Candidate Mike Rogers speaks in Huron

All right. I think some people are fired up to defend freedom in November. And do we have a phenomenal Republican ticket this year? Unbelievable. Yeah. I have to tell you something happened recently. And after that August date, this election became bigger than Christie and I. It really became bigger than the United States Senate seat. This really is about the heart and soul of our country. Yeah, you bet. Yeah, you bet. you awesome usa love it fantastic i'm glad you're fired up this is great but something else happened my wife and i got a call from a leading democrat down in the city of detroit and said i want you to come down and have a conversation with us so we packed up and went down and said are we allowed to show our face or do we have to wear you know some kind of disguise she said no i want people to see you we got down and we talked to this leading democrat supposed to be a 45 minute two and a half hours later, she said, listen, I'm going to take you around the city and talk about what you Republicans, what you and your wife want to do with and for the city of Detroit. Yeah. I'll tell you why that's important. And more importantly, I said, this is great. We appreciate you doing this. These are constituencies conservatives and Republicans don't have a chance to talk to, and we look forward to that opportunity. But I said, why are you doing this? And she said, I'll tell you why. On Saturday, someone knocked on my door, and they handed me a pamphlet and said, will you help us make Detroit a Democrat Socialist of America City? And here's the good news. She said, I'll be damned if I'm going to let this be a Democrat Socialist of America City. And I don't know if you all know this, and maybe you're not aware, but I'm running against the most radical, most extreme dsa dsa affiliated candidate in the country right here the dsa says this is where they're going to plant their flag and they're going to take it from here and spread it around the rest of the country this yeah you bet this is why we got to send this guy packing and think about this if you can't even tell the truth on your resume he lied about being a physician he lied about being a dual citizen of egypt he lied about being an immigrant from a north african country. He lied over and over. This guy is hard to get the truth out. Matter of fact, it's like watching an octopus put his socks on in the morning. But today we got to expose a little bit about where he is. Think of this. He's for open borders, giving illegal immigrants driver's licenses and putting them on Medicare. And this is really most important. So this DSA affiliated candidate is also taking a lot of money from organization that support the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas and Hezbollah. The Muslim Brotherhood celebrated exactly one victory in the United States in the primary this year. One. Abdul El-Sayed's. And why are they only supporting Abdul? Well, in college, he was the leader of the Muslim Student Association, a feeder organization for the Muslim Brotherhood. In 2012, he signed a letter supporting the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, quoting he wanted to purge the press and the police so you can say his defund the police comes about honestly i guess abdul's immediate family talks about their close involvement his sister said and i quote my family has long been muslim brotherhood and now he's accepted campaign donations from organizations as i said and even the literal spokesman from the muslim Brotherhood. Tell you, as a former FBI agent, I can tell you we would call that a clue. But we sure know that Abdul El-Sayed does not belong anywhere near the United States Senate, and certainly not representing us here. He wants to abolish prisons, to fund the police, pack the Supreme Court with left-leaning justices, and send your costs through the roof. Michigan already has the highest utility rates in the Midwest. But you know, Abdul, he brought AOC and Bernie Sanders state of Michigan. They have a new energy tax that will increase, think of this, utility bills by $2,000 a year and add 20 cents per gallon in the cost of gasoline. That's not affordability, people. That's a screw you. Let me be frank. We cannot afford Abdul El-Sayed in the Senate, and we damn sure can't risk his extreme ideology and thinking. So here's what we're going to do with your help. And by the way, this is it. We need you to find a friend, even your liberal Uncle Earl. Grab him. Talk to him. Get him convinced about the future of this country. What's at risk for our kids and our grandkids? They talk about building a movement. We just want to build a state where our kids can be comfortable and stay here without going somewhere else. So here we go. Here's what we're going to do. We're going to get our kids reading again at grade level. We're going to make housing more affordable for every Michigander. We're going to bring back the 200,000 jobs the Democrats have chased out of our state and out of our country, and we're going to make sure the kids in Michigan have the tools to succeed right here. This, where freedom is on the line, is about family and freedom. This is where we stand up and say, This is our chance on November 4th to stand up and say we were the defenders of the United States of America for the next generation of Michiganders. God bless you.
