I run my whole business on 18 AI agents. Not one of them can design. So I gave Lovart a shot at being the 19th and put it to work on real jobs from my own client portfolio, starting with a brand identity for one of my local web brands, Lincoln Local.
This isn't a toy demo. I test whether an AI design agent can actually handle real small-business work, logos, promo graphics, and brand assets, using the real tool and the real UI. You'll see where it held up and where it fell short.
What I get into: - Building a brand identity for a real local business - Editing on the fly: swapping the offer copy on a promo graphic (Edit Text), fixing one detail without regenerating the whole thing (Edit Elements), and saving a reusable Brand Kit - What it costs, what I'd change, and whether it earns a spot in my stack
The speaker tests Lovart.ai to see if it can serve as a \"design agent\" for his business. Unlike standard AI image generators, Lovart allows for plain-English prompts, direct canvas editing, and the creation of brand kits. Through three tests—logo creation, social media graphics, and flyers—the speaker concludes that the tool is effective for non-designers to produce professional, finished work.
I run 18 AI agents inside my business. They write code, they handle email,
they chase invoices, they do my outreach.
But one job that they do not do well yet,
I don't have an AI agent that really helps much with design. All my logos,
all my ads, all my brand work for web clients,
a lot of that is still on humans. It's on me to design, to look over,
make sure it looks good.
So I'm going to run a test with lovart.ai and see if this one tool
can be my 19th agent, my design agent.
Also need in the comments, what should I name this design agent?
So, but I'm giving Lovart three jobs for my own businesses.
These were three tasks that I really needed to get done and we'll see how Lovart
does with these tasks. So this is Lovart. It is an AI design agent.
You don't push pixels into it.
You just tell it in plain English what you're looking for.
It does the work on canvas,
but then you can go through and edit things as you want.
And that's the part I'm really interested in is, you know,
you can do AI generation, but I want to do AI editing.
If there's something I don't quite like,
I want to be able to edit it instead of just generating a whole new design
element. So I don't have a designer on my payroll right now.
I need finished work, not just something that looks kind of cool.
I need like finished work I can send to clients.
And this is really important to small business owners because design is one of
the biggest things that owners overpay for, or they skip it entirely.
A logo can cost you a few hundred dollars to a few thousand dollars.
It can take weeks. If you're working with a designer, a simple, you know,
promo graphic means hiring out or fighting with templates,
trying to do it yourself. It's a huge pain.
Let me know in the comments if you can relate to this as a small business owner,
just the challenges of design, especially for non-design people.
I am not a designer. Three jobs. Let's go here with Lovart.
So first we're going to open up this link in local. So test one,
this is a side business that I run.
Actually pretty much AI just runs it on the side.
But I build websites for local businesses.
I've been doing this for like 20 years and just AI has made it easier over the
years. But when new companies, when you have a new brand, a new website,
you need a new identity.
And so part of what I have to do sometimes is generate logos for people.
So I gave Lovart one command generate for logo concepts for Lincoln local.
And this is what it came up with. And it didn't just give me the logos,
but it also gave kind of the reasoning behind it. Like this one,
this is the state Capitol here in Lincoln. That's really cool. This one, you know,
it was like a handshake with a heart. That's kind of cool,
but it explained the color and the tone, why it picked what it did. I mean,
this is stuff that a professional designer would do when looking at logo
creations. I want everybody to go try, make a look,
make a logo for your company, for your side hustle. Again,
I know making a logo is kind of one of the fun parts of starting a business.
And so go mess around with it. If you have a side hustle idea,
go generate a logo and just see what it looks like.
It might motivate you to get going with that side hustle. So,
and then with Lovart, I don't have to just take these logos as is like,
I'm going to click this capital one. I think that's pretty, pretty cool idea.
I'm going to go here into chat and I say, refine this logo,
logo concept one,
make the orange warmer and the type a little
bolder, we'll say. So we're not starting back from scratch.
It's taking that first logo and editing it with the changes that I made.
So I made the orange a little bit warmer, put some orange here,
made the type a little bit bolder.
And you can just have a conversation like it's a designer and just let,
let it know what changes you would like.
So when you can actually edit elements in this logo,
like let's say I want to change the name.
I don't want it to be Lincoln local anymore.
I just want it to be Lincoln local. I don't know. So there you go.
You can edit the text in this local is a stupid name for a company,
but I just wanted to show I could change the name. I can move the cow.
Let's say I want to move the capital.
Maybe I just want to move it underneath the text like this. So again,
this is why I like this better than just using, you know,
nano banana or one of the AI image generators is I can edit what I'm given and
get it just the way that I want it. So let's take one of these logos.
Want to show you their brand kit feature, export that as a PNG.
So most brands, most companies want a brand kit.
And I've actually never made a brand kit myself. Again, I'm not a designer.
This is not the way that I think,
but this is the way that normal companies think anyone with a design eye wants a
brand kit where, Hey, you have a consistent font, consistent color,
consistent logos across everything that you do.
So I'm going to take the logo that I just made, upload that,
extracted from the logo.
It extracted the logo and different versions of the logo,
like one without the text one with just the text.
It took the colors from the logo, the fonts from the logo.
And now this can all be my brand kit here.
So now this brand kit lives in Lovart. So whenever I want to do anything,
any graphics for this brand, I can have use this brand kit.
And it has the colors already, the logo, the font and everything,
all they're ready to go. So it does great with the logo generation,
did great with the brand kits.
The next test that I want to do is the job every small business hits every week.
You need a promotional graphic. If you advertise on Instagram,
or even if you just have an Instagram account, you need promotional graphics.
So let's just put a clean Instagram promo
graphic for a local coffee shop. And again,
one thing I love about AI is I don't have to spell things correctly.
I'm not even fixing this to AI. They'll know I mean graphic. All right.
So it's getting going on the Instagram promo graphic,
and it's smart enough to know that Instagram posts are typically square.
So you need a one by one aspect ratio. So if you were doing a YouTube short,
you would want it to be nine by 16. If you were doing a YouTube long,
you want it 16 by nine. That YouTube is what I usually do.
I don't even post to Instagram too much, but this knows, Hey,
for Instagram, we want it one by one.
That's the format that it's expecting is just a square. All right.
So this finish, this is amazing. Honestly, for one shot. I mean, this is great.
Like anybody would post this to their Instagram and then you can go in.
Of course you can change the text. Let's do edit text.
Let's change. Instead of Oak and Co. Let's call it James and
Co coffee. Change it here too. Instead of your town, USA,
let's do Lincoln, Nebraska.
Make all those changes. There we go. Instead of Oak and Co.
Now it's James and Co and change the address. I mean,
you could change whatever you wanted on this. And I mean, it looks really great.
So again,
if you have a business and you want to promote it on social
media, go try out Lovart, generate a graphic, just tell it, Hey,
I want a graphic to post on my Facebook account or to make my, you know,
Facebook, what do you call it? Cover photo or whatever. All right.
For this next test,
I'm going to go back to the Lincoln local brand kit that we already have.
And I want you to make a,
create a one page flyer for Lincoln
local announcing a new service on brand
misspelled announcing, but don't even care.
So AI is looking at the brand kit that we created for Lincoln local,
and then it'll use it to make a flyer. And of course,
one of my favorite things about AI is, you know, this is,
this has taken a couple minutes, but I don't have to just sit here and watch it.
What I love about AI is I can have like 10 tabs open doing different AI things.
I've got my 18 other agents running over here on my other laptop.
And this is just another agent working for me. All right.
So here's the flyer. So use the logo, use the right colors,
get started today, order by 2 PM.
And it actually didn't have context for what Lincoln local does.
So a guest local delivery instead of local web design.
So I'm just going to tell the agent here,
actually it is a local web design company,
not local delivery. So I'm just going to give it that,
see if that gives it enough context to make a different flyer.
This is a great flyer is just, it didn't know what type of company I did.
So it says it's going to recreate the flyer for Lincoln local as a web design
company. All right. So here, here we go.
So I made a new flyer based on what we actually offer. And again,
use the brand that we already put together.
So is this my 19th AI agent? Honest answer.
I think it probably is for design work. Um,
this does a lot better than just using Claude code out of the box.
The fact that I can generate things and then edit it and save my, you know,
brand kit altogether. I'm going to be using this for a lot of graphics.
A lot of the graphics you see on my channel,
or you see on my social media will probably be made with Lovart going
forward. So if you want to try it out for yourself,
the link is down in the description to go try out Lovart.
Let me know in the comments,
I'll leave a link to some of the things that you've created. Um,
I think you could use this to create some pretty cool stuff.
So let me know how you're using it. Appreciate you guys very much.
God bless you all and have a great rest of your day.
