Team Feature: Argentina | The Squad on the Greatness of Lionel Messi

Messi is everything. He's the best player in the history of football. He's not just a footballer, he's in a league of his own. The things he does aren't normal. For him, playing football is the greatest thing, especially defending the shirt of his country. This is why he played six World Cups and doesn't want to miss a game. A winning spirit is non-negotiable. I think his desire to win will always be there. It's difficult to learn from the things he does because ultimately you have them in your head. But you can never quite manage to do them the way he does. He sets an example with his actions and it's something spectacular for us. He never stops surprising us. Being able to enjoy what he does is wonderful and he's still performing at the highest level. It's incredible. I think having a captain and a leader like him is a real asset for us. I thoroughly enjoy my time with Leo. I know there'll never be another like him. To enjoy him one more time is something incredible. I'll see you next time.
