Starting Over With Nothing? Watch This!

I've talked about this in a few videos, but if somebody came to me and they said, Hey, you have to start from scratch. You have to start business with no audience, no anything, no business, no money. What would you do? Some of you might think that the first thing I would do is write some software, create a quick training course or something like that. But actually the first thing I would do, and if you've seen, you know, a few of my recent videos, you might know this. The first thing I would do is try to build an audience of some kind, even before I have a product, even before I have anything that I want to sell or anything like that, I would start building a following, start building an audience of some kind. And one of the easiest ways to do this is with an email list. You can start a YouTube channel if you like being on camera, but it's not for everybody, but anybody can start an email list. So I want to show you today how to use go high level. And what we're going to do, we're going to create an email list with a newsletter. So that's one way you can build an email list is you have content that you want to get out there about a particular topic. And there's people who want that content and they're willing to give you their email address. What this does is you start, you know, little by little, you start creating this following of people that have subscribed for your newsletter. Then once you have a list, when you do decide, Oh, I need to network or I need investors, or now I have a product, or now I have a training course. You already have a list of contacts, list of people who at least know about you. You've kind of developed a relationship and that makes those initial steps of starting a business a lot easier. All right. So using go high level to start a newsletter, I'm going to walk you through the whole process right here. Step one is you need to choose the topic for your newsletter. So this needs to be something that you are either really passionate about or that you know a lot about no more than average people about. And preferably those two things come together. So, and actually we're, it's sad where we're going in society and I'm contributing to it, but I'm going to actually go on chat GPT. What am I passionate about and what do I know more about than, than most people? I want to just see if chat GPT, you know, chat GPT keeps track of your conversations. So it should know me, I'm guessing. All right. So what you're passionate about helping people create passive income, especially through YouTube. Sure. Your faith in Jesus. I wish that was number one. Maybe I need to reprioritize they're building things that are useful, whether it's software, passive apps program, or creating systems, teaching and mentoring and being a good steward. So good. What I know more about than most people building and monetizing mobile apps. Yes. I check out the app program, making YouTube videos that convert. Sure. Online passive income strategies, software development, faith-based entrepreneurship, and time management. Wow. Didn't know about that one. So, but you can see, I just asked chat GPT and already I got some good topics that I could, if I was going to start a newsletter from scratch, I'd probably would pick one of these topics. And if you have some authority in one of these, you know, like building a monetizing mobile apps, since I've done that before, I have some authority in that space. So that's something else that you can kind of leverage if you're going to make a newsletter. Okay. So I have my topic. I'm actually going to make the topic of this newsletter entrepreneurs using AI. Okay. Or something about that. I really am enjoying AI right now. So then you need to decide where your email list is going to live. So you need a CRM, a customer relationship manager. This is basically as people subscribe to your email list. This is where their email addresses are going to live. This is where your list is going to be. And this decision is actually pretty important. I started back in the day many, many years ago on Kajabi. I don't like Kajabi. It doesn't work very well. It doesn't have all the features I need, but I have so much on Kajabi. I have hundreds of different email lists. I have tons of different funnels, tons of different landing pages. I'm kind of stuck on Kajabi, but if I was starting back over today, I would use go high level. It can hold your email list. You can do make the landing page for people to subscribe to your newsletter, which I'll show you here. You can send out your newsletter through there and it's a lot cheaper. So the first thing that we want to do is we want to make a form for people to subscribe to this newsletter. So we'll go over here to sites and we'll go to forms builder and we're going to go add form and you can start from scratch and kind of design your own to save time. I'm all about saving time. And that'd be the purpose of this newsletter is AI helping entrepreneurs save time. So I'd start with a template just to see if there's something close to what I'm looking for. So, and there are a few here. Maybe I'll try, maybe I'll just use this one. Generic registration. I'll just use that one for now. So I clicked that one. Continue. Okay. So pretty basic form. I actually might, I might want to use a different image here and what I'm going to do, I'm going to take a screenshot of this. I'll show you just a little bit of how I use AI sometime and I'm going to put the screenshot into chat GPT. Sometime if you would like a video on the different chat GPT models or different AI models, I've tried almost all of them. I've spent a lot of time, but I'm going to, I like Oh four mini, but I'm going to do create an image. Can you create a better image for the header of this AI for entrepreneur? I spell entrepreneur, right? First try. Nice. Here for entrepreneur newsletter sign up page. So then while AI is generating that image, just see if there's anything else I need to do here. I mean, if you were going to do this for real, you might want to add, you know, a little paragraph just explaining a little bit about what the newsletter is. Here we go. Just text. Just want text here. Sign up for the AI entrepreneur newsletter. Obviously you could spend more time on this. This is a little bit ugly, at least considerate. It's a little bit better. I'm not a graphic designer. That's why I go straight for the templates. All right. And I regret generating this image because this is taking too long. I don't, my camera doesn't have this much battery left. Oh, and then I get a network error, but it looks like it's going to be so cool. Let me retry. All right. While that image is generating, I'll take us to the next step. So I'm going to save here and then you can preview it. So you can just kind of see the form. There you go. Pretty basic. If you were, again, if you were going to do this live, you might want to explain more about who you are. So, but great. So we have a basic form for signing up for newsletters. Now we're going to create a site to put this on. So kind of a landing page. So we're going to go to funnels and create a new funnel. And again, I'm going to try a template and I'm just going to use this business master classes. I think this will work well. AI still has not given me that image yet. Helping women discover their wings. Women can do everything. It's all men. Look at that. That's funny. Women can do everything. And then this, the team is all guys. That's funny. I mean, this'll work. This'll work fine. Let's continue with this. I get the image state in the loop. You know what? That's good enough. All right. So obviously there's a bunch of things that you'd want to change. In fact, I probably shouldn't have gotten such a complex template because there's a lot of stuff that I would need to change to get this landing page out. Let's just say I want to put the form right here. So I'm just going to click this plus below and make a full width little box here right there. And then we're going to add just one column and then we're going to add an element and we're going to add the form that we made in the last step. There we go. I'm going to save it for now. Then I want to preview it. So again, there's, if I was going to make this an AI for entrepreneurs newsletter, there's obviously, I'd want to change some things like this title here helping women discover their wings. Could be for women entrepreneurs. Sure. But here's the newsletter. Sign up that I created that form. I'm going to go back and edit. I want to get the right image in here. Image chat, GPT image. Look at that. Doesn't that look better? So then one other thing is when someone signs up, I want to go to settings here and on submit, you can either send them to a new URL. So I could make like a new thank you page or something like that. But just to keep this brief, I'm just going to say thank you for signing up for the AI entrepreneur newsletter and hit save. So it's really that easy. Now this page is ready to go. You can hook it up to a domain name, you know, rather than go high level.com. I could buy AI entrepreneur. It's probably taken. I use go daddy, but let's let's AI entrepreneur. What if I misspell entrepreneurs? That's probably available. Trip renewers.com. I'm sure this is taken AI entrepreneurs.com $48,000. Okay. So you might want to pick a different domain name. A a AI entrepreneurs.com $48,000 AI entrepreneurs.net one cent. Okay. So you can see why people use.net instead of.com. Sometimes.io is kind of hip right now. That's $60 for a year. Misspelled AI entrepreneurs is one cent, but you can buy a domain, hook it up to this. And then all of a sudden your newsletter template is ready to go. So then when you're ready to send your newsletter, you can go to the marketing tab. So again, you're using go high level to create the landing page, create the form, collect the email addresses, store the email addresses. When you're ready to send the email, you also can use go high level. You go to marketing and then go to emails. And then I'm going to do just create campaign. Again, you can use a template. I usually prefer just blank, like not a lot of graphics and email to me. If there's graphics and images and stuff, it looks kind of like a an ad rather than an email from someone. So these are, these are actually templates I created. I'm not going to use one of those. Here we go. Email marketing templates. So let's just do this promotion one. Continue design a logo for this company. Let's see how AI does with that. So again, on here, you can just change whatever AI for entrepreneurs. I'm going to be good at spelling entrepreneurs by the end of this video, make a newsletter with AI, yada, yada, yada. And you change the content in here. Oh, and look at Chad GPT making a logo for me. I'm going to download that, throw it in, throw it in here. Instead of this placeholder, nice picture of James here. I'm just going to upload this in here. Use that, insert media. There you go. Got my new logo. Then I'm do send or schedule. So I want to send it from James at jamespeltoncrypto.com. And it's just going to send me an email there so I can verify that that's my email address. They don't want you sending emails from, got my code, verify. Okay. Send her name. We'll say James, welcome to the AI Entra newsletter. So then send to, I'm going to do all contacts, which is only me that's filled out that form so far. And there's some other options. You can track clicks, you can resend email if they don't open, but I'm just going to hit send, send this newsletter out. Okay. So it took about a minute and it went ahead and sent. Then when I checked my email, here we go. I got it. So it's that easy. I mean, how long did that take me? Four minutes, five minutes, whatever. It's pretty, pretty easy. You can use, go high level, create a form, create a landing page, start getting traffic to that landing page, and then you can create a newsletter. All of a sudden you have this email list that you're starting to build. And, you know, I grow this email list to, we'll say a thousand or 5,000. Then I build a product. Let's say I build a training course, AI for entrepreneurs, and I already have thousands of potential customers that I can send this out to get some sales. And it's the start of a business. So if I could go back in time or if I needed to start over from scratch, this is one of the first things that I would do is start a newsletter, start building an email list.
