Once upon a time I took a DNA test and then started following my DNA path that took me to
Tennessee where I was born and from that it took me to find out that my mom had been missing since
about 1974. So I went back home to Michigan and and thought about it a lot but did a lot of you
know online research and things like that but you know there was absolutely no information
and next thing you know the FBI called and said come to find out my DNA had matched a
woman's body in Massachusetts and then it everything kind of started from that point on.
We went out to Massachusetts and you know buried my mother and found I found out who I who I was
and where I came from and met a lot of really really good people along the process. My mom's
name was Ruth Marie Terry and she was born dirt poor in Tennessee. I mean dirt poor no floors you
know no windows no nothing and she wanted more of life and she came to Michigan and got a job
at the big three and unfortunately got pregnant and you know that's where I came from and she
was smart enough to know that she couldn't take care of me and she found two two of the probably
greatest people in the world to raise me as a child and then I found out after taking a DNA
DNA test at the end you know who and what she was you know that I'm a redneck hillbilly from
Tennessee and that I'm an I am an only child she didn't have any other children or anything like
that and that her life was unfortunately taken you know by a madman that took quite a few people
actually. I still would take a DNA test even after all that you know I have found out you know
sometimes you wonder man do I really want to know all this stuff you know what I mean but in the end
yes I do you know because that's what my destiny was was to be here and I didn't find it out until
you know in my 60s so.
