Patriotism on full display at Eastchester parade celebrating nations 250th anniversary

Eastchester is celebrating America's 250th birthday with a special patriotic parade. News 12's Paul Thompson brings us up close to all the fun. Today is part of the continuing celebration of this great nation's 250th anniversary, which will go on into the fall. Columbus State Parade, St. Patrick's Day Parade, this parade is just tops. I'm participating with a group of veterans and friends, and I'm happy to be among them. I came out to support the firemen and also my children that are in the Brassmen drum line. It's great to see so many people coming out, not only in the parade, here at the barbecue. I was informed that the Congress unanimously voted on independency. Eastchester has not waned in any of its patriotism or any of its feeling of inclusion in the historic content of this country. This is why we live in Eastchester. It's one of the best towns in the whole Westchester County. It's a fun experience, and if you've never been, come on out. We love this town, people love this country, and it's just a great celebration.
