And while it was hot there we had storminess in other parts of the country. Let's take you now
to the Texas area where they have been the recipient of very strong flooding thunderstorm
activity. Look at it just all blow up there anywhere from San Antonio through Houston
into the Austin area. And then around the Four Corners State we see more subtropical moisture
in the form of monsoonal moisture. And I'm bringing all this up because take a look at
this what's happening off Baja California. We've had a wave of tropical disturbances
scrape across that portion of the country. And then look to the south here. This is Elda
and it could become a hurricane on the Pacific side. But right now computer models want to
take it away in a westerly fashion from California. But still some of the clouds and some of the
higher moisture in the form of humidity could make its way up to northern California by
Sunday with higher humidity and dry lightning. It's not certain it's going to happen. It's just
worth mentioning. But right now we've got blue skies over the Golden Gate Bridge. Temperature
wise right now how about 96 degrees in Fairfield after reaching out to 100 degrees today.
It's 94 Morgan Hill after realizing 100. I've seen it as high as 96 in Livermore. 73 now in Hayward
and around the peninsula 70s and 80s rather comfortable. You want the cooler weather you
head to the coast but the winds have been breezy. 17 mile per hour gusts right now in the Nevada
area. Concord Buchanan filled with a sustained wind at 12. Same amount of you but look at that
gust at SFO around the San Mateo coast there nearly 30 miles per hour. It will continue to
be breezy tonight overnight but cooler much cooler at least down from 70 in Antioch to 68 degrees.
We'll take a pair of fives in throughout the tri-valley 57 degrees in the city. One last night
of a coastal flood advisory in effect tomorrow morning at 12 48 we will have high tide with 1.5
feet of inundation. All right here we go this is our futurecast. I'm loving this because it sees
the return of the fog developing not so much tonight overnight. Just a hint of stratus right
there hugging the San Mateo coastline. But then by Thursday night into your Friday night we see
more expansive and extensive development and that'll cool everybody down. So let's play it
like this cooler for all for your Thursday with breezy winds. I'm talking some gusts up to 30
miles per hour on Friday and Saturday are going to be seasonal from the 60s to the 80s. Go ahead
take a pic at your neighborhood we're talking 80 in San Jose and 85 degrees in San Rafael. They
forecast again there's that chance of the higher humidity by Sunday. Stay with us,
Claudine will be back with all the news you need to know right after this.
