Today in the drone zone we fly over Lake Pleasant Harbor Water Park. And they've got
a lot of different ways to beat the summer heat. Drone pilot Brian Kaye has the story.
Hi, I'm Kristen Bree. I'm operations manager for Pleasant Harbor Water Park.
We're here at Pleasant Harbor Water Park talking about Woe Island and H2O waterslide. Woe Island
is our inflatable obstacle course here at Pleasant Harbor. We have a variety of inflatables
on Woe Island. We have a trampoline, a swing, our summit waterslide with a climbing wall,
and our jungle gym, and then finally our anvil with a waterslide.
We have our IHOP out there. That is a string of balancing balls that you can hop across,
quite literally, and make your way from one side to the other. Depending on how balanced you are,
you're either going to wipe out or make it all the way across. Who knows?
Just climb back on and try again. Far end of the park we have our skyrocketer swing.
It has a trapeze bar on it and you'll go ahead and grab it and people will do flips off of it.
They'll just launch themselves into the lake. It's a load of fun. The obstacle course can be as much
or as little physical activity as you're looking for. You can climb up and down all of the high
peaks or you can stay on the lower level items and just do a little bit of activity.
H2O waterslide is approximately 36 feet to the top. We have our big slide, our middle slide,
and our small slide. The big slide will shoot you farther up into the air. The middle slide will
shoot you farther out into the lake and then our little slide will just lop you off into the water
in a nice calm gentle way. The big slide will launch you probably about 10 to 15 feet. It's
pretty crazy. Yeah, it's definitely a little extreme in some extents. You can go down feet
first or face first. It's definitely a wow experience no matter which slide you're doing.
Everybody has a great time. Half the fun is watching everybody go down the slide while
you're waiting in line. This year we've added our inflatable pickleball court which is super
exciting. Everybody loves it so far. It is a fun twist on a traditional pickleball environment.
Obviously it's on the water, it's floating, but it does have a little bit of movement to it so
there's a little bit more balance involved. Not a ton, but you know it's a fun way to play
pickleball. Pleasant Harbor Marina is a great place to have our waterslide and obstacle course
here. It's a great addition to the facility. It's a lot of fun, but you know we're flexible enough
where parents can sit and wait for their kids, hang out, grab some food at Dylan's, and then
watch their kids, you know, enjoy their day on the water. This is absolutely one of the best
things to do on the lake in the summer. We want all of our customers to enjoy the lake. No boat
required. That looks awesome. I am in. Yeah. I am fully in. Oh my god, me too. For more information about
Pleasant Harbor Water Park, we have all that information on our website foxsantaphoenix.com
