All right, here at the Zip Trip at National Landing, one more time as we talk to the team
here from the Alzheimer's Association. Emily and Heather are joining me this morning,
and something that really touches me closely, something that touches a lot of people closely,
is Alzheimer's disease. So why don't you just tell us a little bit about, for maybe our viewers who
don't know that, what it entails for the family members of people who have Alzheimer's disease,
and then what you guys do to kind of counteract that. Yeah, definitely. Unfortunately, it does
affect a large population. About 7 million people in the U.S. live currently with Alzheimer's or
dementia, not only financially but emotionally. It can be very tough on the families, and Heather
can share what we do. Well, one of the things that we do is we do a walk to end Alzheimer's,
and the walk to end Alzheimer's is 600 sites nationally, but we have six sites in the D.C.,
Maryland, Virginia area, and specifically we have one of the largest in D.C. It's on September 26th,
Saturday, on the National Mall. It's free, open to everybody, and you can bring your family,
your friends, your colleagues, your neighbors, and your dogs, and it starts at 8 a.m.,
and we have a one-mile and a two-mile route. Okay, so you can do both. You can basically pick
which one you want, and is this basically available to everybody? Is it people that
maybe have been touched by that disease, people, family members, things like that,
or can really anybody come out? Yeah, it really is open to anyone, families, friends, caregivers,
companies that are invested. We have wonderful sponsors as well, a lot of opportunities. What
do you guys need? Do you need sponsors? Do you need volunteers, donations? Yeah, we're still
looking for sponsors. We're still looking for donations and volunteers to come out and
participate. Okay, well, we're gonna put you guys up to the test today. We're gonna have a little
fun here on Fox 5 because we have been talking World Cup for a while now. Okay, have you guys
been watching? Yeah. Okay, a little bit. We've been watching a little bit. I knew I was gonna win,
right? Okay, okay, save it. Okay, we'll have World Cup trivia questions for you guys. We'll start off
with number one. Who won the last World Cup that was 2022? Your options up there on the screen.
Argentina, France, or England? Do you have a collective guess here? A, B, or C? I'm gonna say
A. Okay, we're going with A, Argentina, and that is the correct answer. Argentina was the winner of
the last World Cup. They've been talking about it for a while. The runners-up, we're gonna see if
they can win this year too as well. Number two, what country has won the most World Cups? We have
your options. France, Portugal, or Brazil? A, B, or C? Who has won the most World Cups? I'm gonna say
C. All right, we'll go with C. Okay, they're going with C. The answer is correct that you guys have
for us. Brazil has won the most World Cups. We've got our next question. Three, who hosted the 2022
World Cup? So you said the winner. Who hosted it? We have Qatar, Italy, or England. Do you remember
who hosted the 2022 World Cup? I'm gonna, I'm gonna, oh, I was gonna say B, but you want to say A?
Yeah, I think it might be A. Okay, okay, all right, all right, let's try A. Okay, we're going with A, and that is
correct. Qatar World Cup was the 2022 World Cup. She's got it. We have one final one. That's the
tough one. Number four, who holds the record for most goals in the World Cup? We have very recognizable
names here. A, Cristiano Ronaldo. We have Pele, or C, Lionel Messi. What are you guys thinking?
Messi. Okay, I feel like that was Messi. Cristiano Ronaldo has definitely scored a handful of goals,
of course, but we are going with answer number C. Lionel Messi has the most goals in the World Cup.
We're gonna see if he can add to that, of course, for this upcoming one on Sunday. You guys excited
for it? Yes. Yeah, very much. One final time, find a little bit more information. If we want to join
the walk, we want to donate things like that for the Alzheimer's Association. Yeah, you can visit
our website at actact.alz.org forward slash walkdc to learn more. All right, thank you guys so much
for joining us today in a very fun World Cup trivia. You guys were five for five. We love it.
Here from National Landing, up to you, Jess.
