Sweat & Humidity Proof Makeup Tutorial That Lasts 12+ Hours In 103° Heat (Brown Skin 🤎)

It is 1 30 p.m 50 humidity and 100 degree heat dare I say one of the best sweat proof makeup routine I've ever done and that is the difference my friends between sweat proof makeup and oily skin makeup If your makeup routine isn't lasting you through 50 humidity 100 degree heat and uv 10, babe You need a new makeup routine, but hey That's why i'm here today because the thing no one is telling you is most makeup routines are built for dry heat and oily skin Including my own la makeup routine. So we're changing it up here today I'm in granada spain celebrating my fourth anniversary with my husband So today we're gonna attempt and try to do the best the ultimate sweat proof Anti-humidity makeup routine that will actually last through the heat wave that spain has been having right now Why did we choose to come here right now? This routine is also pretty damn different from all of the other videos that you might have watched for me So if you want to get your makeup to last to hour 10 in the 100 degree heat better sit down grab some popcorn And listen to you here. Welcome to my channel My name is monica ruby conway your fairy brown mother here today to help you guys get your makeup to actually last with a 12 hour wear test here in spain and i'm taking you guys with me for the first time ever on like a little wear test vlog At the very end of the video because your makeup wears depending on what you're doing Now we're first going to start with skin prep in the 100 degree weather I always love starting with some sort of hypochlorous acid spray. This one's from milani It's pretty damn affordable if you are acne prone or get fungal acne like me Hypochlorous acid can actually help kill all the bacteria on your face Which I think is perfect for humidity proof makeup because honestly, we're sweating we're getting gross out here We need our skin to be clean And I feel like this is a great start to my makeup routine because there's so much humidity in the air over here I do change up my skin prep routine ever so slightly But the one thing that is consistent is my lineage cream skin toner, even though there is 50 humidity We do want to keep our skin hydrated But the goal with this makeup tutorial is our skin should be allowed to sweat But once it dries once it lays throughout the day your makeup won't cake up sweating is normal I hope you know that and the third thing that I will go in with is my coco kind electrolyte water cream I have the mini tube of this something. I always like to say is influencers only bring on vacation But they truly love our skin prep is all done and ready And now we are ready for the makeup goal of this routine today is we're gonna allow our sweat to shine Through sweating is normal makeup is not going to prevent sweat from actually occurring The goal of this is that you should be able to sweat, but your makeup won't get cakey It won't get fudged up and it won't start to look like a mess by hour three So that also means we're keeping our base routine Minimal meaning we're starting with a tinted sunscreen instead of a foundation to help even out my complexion This is the elta md uv clear spf 46 deep tinted sunscreen This is one of the best tinted sunscreens in my opinion for deeper skin tones It's not super greasy meaning it's really easy to get the quarter teaspoon that we need to get the advertised spf protection And even though it seems a little bit oily at first But once it dries down it actually dries down really nicely and this has niacinamide for oil control because yeah We're sweaty out here, but I am also still an oily, babe The next product that i'm going in with is my setting spray. I know we haven't even gotten a concealer yet But this is my vanessa myrick's liquid blurring a bomb setting spray. I was gonna shake her up Real good and then i'm just gonna give her a light spray This is basically a liquid form of her universal primer Which is why I feel like if you have this you can honestly skip this and this has the upsolite technology in it Which helps make your makeup sweat proof waterproof? Just make sure that your makeup is completely dry before moving on to the next step because a lot of these have film formers In it which is like a barrier between your skin and the humidity now I'm gonna go in with my color corrector and concealer but in a different way than how I usually would use it But if you don't have any dark circles hyperpigmentation or acne like me Then you can completely skip this step and honestly just get away with a tinted sunscreen So i'm going in with my huda beauty color corrector in the shade mango And i'm first putting that on the back of my hand because i'm gonna mix it with my estee lauder double wear concealer And i'm gonna mix the two because I want to get a shade that I can honestly wear on its own and then i'm taking An eyeshadow brush and i'm just going to dab it in here. See this is the shade that I should get Do you see it's slightly orangey? So it's gonna help take down any of the discoloration that I have around my mouth But it's not so orange that i'm gonna have to use more concealer to cover it up and the shade of your concealer also matters This is 5w from estee lauder, which is pretty damn close to my skin Like look at that should barely be able to see where the corrector and concealer ends How do we also feel about a little bit of a different setup? I am in my hotel room here in granada Usually I only ever will film in my setup at home since this is going to be a little bit more of like a casual Sort of video somewhere between a vlog lifestyle and a full makeup routine Let me know if we like more of these in the comments now that my skin looks pretty evened out I'm, actually just gonna go in with a little bit more concealer just because I have some dark spots that I want to correct here I'm really excited for the day today because we are going to the alhambra which is like a huge palace here in granada So the look i'm trying to channel today is like princess asmin, I guess energy Maybe i'll show you guys my outfit at the end of the video too, but it's it's giving tea I haven't fully finished up the concealer yet. But before I put some under my eyes, we're gonna go in with blush This is one of my favorite blushes for the sweaty weather and sweaty girlies The danessa meyers blurring bomb blushes in shade spiced latte. You've got olive skin olive undertones like me This is like the perfect shade for us because it kind of looks super natural and this also has that same upsolite technology So it's gonna keep our makeup on color looks tea danessa meyers products are just tea overall No, this is not sponsored So this is somewhat optional because you can honestly leave your base like this But because I am trying to serve princess baddie in the photos today i'm gonna go in with estee lauder concealer But this time in shade 4w. So one shade lighter i'm gonna load up my brush So i'm not picking up too much product and i'm gonna press this slightly underneath my eye and by applying everything directly to my hand First it also prevents me from like over applying too much product now before I go into powder We're gonna go in again with miss danessa The blurring bomb spray because I always like to say if you're spraying you're setting spray once at the end like it's perfume That's why my friend your makeup is not lasting next the star of the show and if you buy one product from this video Have it be this one. This is the new natasha denona high glam waterproof sweat proof setting powder She is pretty expensive and I was really suspicious of this at first because there's only one shade of translucent white But I actually do think she is translucent i've been trying this out for I want to say like a few weeks at this point and I even did a wear test for This on a six mile run and my makeup looked as good as it did when I first put her on and I think what? Makes this formulation humidity proof and waterproof is the dimethicone in it Dimethicone is a silicone and that can help create like a barrier on your skin which makes this powder Hydrophobic which means it repels water The only thing I will mention with this powder is you have to use it with a brush because I did notice some crazy-ass Flashback when I did use a powder puff with it But I think this is a really great way to like lock your makeup on so if you live in a humid environment I'm, sorry. I know this is expensive, but she does come with 18 grams of product now You can also skip this step But because my face is visibly lighter than my neck not because I want to but because I just wear more sunscreen on my face I'm going to go in with a little bit of my say beauty powder Bronzer just on my foreheads and on the sides of my face to just warm it up and i'm going to add my say beauty Powder blush and shade vino right on top of that danessa myricks This adds like such a pretty like sheen into my face Especially because our makeup is so matte like a little bit of a glowy blush Also guys we're going to a flamenco show at the end of the day, too So i'm really excited and this makeup better freaking last to that flamenco show Otherwise i'm gonna look like a mess now for my brows. I am gonna use my rare beauty brow gel I believe this is pretty waterproof transfer proof. Whatever. I honestly don't know how I feel about it I am someone with pretty thick brows and a lot of people seem to like it. I am Honestly just gonna stick to my benefit brow wax. I'm zooming you guys in really close I'm gonna show you guys my quick waterproof eyeliner routine there are very few eyeliners that actually won't bleed and stay through like Humidity and 100 degree heat and I can confidently say this. This is one of them This is probably the only one this is the new urban decay 24 7 liquid stick. I know she's a pretty penny I'm using the black one here But this is basically like cream gel pots that we used to use back in 2016 I don't know urban decay did it they basically repackaged that in a pen form. That's why this is so black It's so pigmented it glides on really easily and this has a brush on the other side But I know this is a pretty penny so for my girlies on a budget nix has something really similar But it doesn't have a brush on the other side because I like like a defined edge I'm, just using my sephora collection eyeliner to just clean up that edge right here. Look at that I love a smoky shadow liner. I feel like it just looks so like sultry and it's so easy to do I'm, just gonna quickly finish up the eye makeup and then we're gonna move on to the lips or I forget Because we're in extreme heat. We always got to go for a waterproof. Mascara. This is the maybelline falsies lash lift waterproof I've been literally using this for years in the summer. I always love a little bit of a cute freckle moment So i'm using the Freckle pen now for the lip. I love something really long lasting like a lip liner stain This is the nyx lip lingerie lip liner stain in the shade steamy spice and because it's a uv 10 today And we want to keep our lips protected pairing it with the prequel lip visor sunscreen spf 30 in the shade rosewood And I like that. This is one of those lip spfs that doesn't taste like ---- Before I forget I am gonna add some half lash extensions underneath my eyes if they will stay on And the final finisher to the look my l'oreal three second setting mist But i'm literally only spraying this for two seconds and you want this super far away from your face in my opinion This is basically hairspray for your face But this is also really good at creating a barrier again between the environment And your makeup and i've seen a lot of people say that this makes their makeup peel And I think it's either because one you didn't skin prep enough. This is a very drying setting spray It does have denatured alcohol in it So I would say if you are a sensitive skin dry ass skin girly This may not be for you or number two You're applying too much. Like if you're going to town with this you're using too much You saw how much I used I basically used like one second of it, okay It does a really damn good job at keeping your makeup on and making it transfer proof Look at that. Isn't that crazy? And this is the final look before we do the 12 to 16 hour wear test and because your makeup wears depending on what you're doing Y'all get to come with me today get a little behind the scenes of what my day is gonna be like and i'm gonna check in with you guys every couple hours or so because we're gonna really see if this makeup routine is Worth the wear at the end of the video. But today we're gonna become a vlogger I'm, really nervous to actually see how this wears because it's predicted to be 97 degrees today with 50 humidity And I have more wake makeup on today than I wore yesterday. Well, I guess let's find out They're currently 11 30 right now. I've already had this makeup on for about like 30 45 minutes So let's just say that the wear test starts at 11 a.m Can you guys also believe that it's our four-year anniversary not wedding anniversary four year? Day exactly four years ago on july 8th. I mean this video will probably go live like july 15th ish, but happy anniversary It's insanely freaking hot today, but at least you guys could see what this looks like in the like 95 degree sun Sweet lord. I'm already starting to sweat Look at the title how low are the windows? Almost two hours in and i'm really starting to break a sweat around here, but you see nothing is keeping up I can't even fathom what it was like to live here during the era. Wow Look at this. It's also almost 2 p.m Would you even be able to tell it's 50 humidity and almost 100 degrees today Yeah Look at this insane view Just wow Aren't y'all glad that you get to come with me today? It's 2 30 p.m right now. And this is how we're looking I believe this is the nashreen palace Almost 4 p.m right now and we're coming in at peak 97 degrees 50 humidity today How are you feeling I think chris is down out here but it's really nice chris almost said hot as balls I almost said it i'm crying but this is how we're looking This place is honestly insane. Look at the garden that we're about to walk up to how gorgeous gorgina We are back in the room it is currently 4 30 p.m And this is how we're looking my sweat has completely dried up and dare I say I think my makeup looks almost exactly the same When I applied it this morning no caking no budging looks pretty damn good I don't even think I need to touch it up almost five. I'm meaning it's been 11 12 12 Six hours, but what do we think because I get fungal acne and high humidity conditions I am going to actually spray myself with the milani hypochlorous acid to just kill off any bacteria This is basically just water and hypochlorous acid. It doesn't change the makeup wear test at all So for my girlies with acne prone skin keep spraying this throughout the day in humidity And your skin is not going to break out The only thing I slightly touched up was my nose bridge here because it was getting really crusty this time I did put powder on my nose bridge for these sunglasses. Hopefully it'll hold up. But now we're going to what the data ria Yeah, we're gonna get some tea. We're gonna go some shopping and we're gonna be outside again I've not touched up at all the rest of my makeup and we're not touching up at all the rest of my makeup until tonight Pray for me. Renata has a lot of arab influence. So we're gonna get some tea What did you get russian tea? I got a mint tea strawberry and berries That's so good Very fresh fresh. You might like that and for lunch. We have a salad chicken tagine and Hummus the hottest part of the day is coming up right now Coming in at 98 degrees fahrenheit. I'm honestly really proud with how this is wearing up You know what? It feels like i'm walking in right now A ******* heater. So I think chris went a little too ham with an ice cream trying to eat a pint It's hot out here. It is hot out here. We're on our way to the flamenco show I did do a updated eyeshadow look, but I kept everything else the same I just changed the lip and the eye but the base is the exact same and I actually feel pretty confident enough now to Not have to touch up this base like at all and go to this dinner party show. Oh, yeah, bryce and I are matching We're the flamenco Show kind of I also think these sorts of videos are great because you can see how the makeup looks in different lighting Depending on what lighting you have the pores are going to look different The contrast is going to look differently You can definitely see my eye bags here more in this sort of lighting and it's been almost like seven eight hours now in 100 degree heat Foreign I have to say if you come to spain you have to see a flamenco show In a cave hour nine. This is how in a cave. I know that was actually look at chris That might have been one of the sweatiest caves we've ever been to I will say I don't think I sweat as much though as I thought I would but my makeup is still matte That's thanks to the nasa virex and the natasha dinos Our adolfe. We're on hour 12. It's 10 30. I'm like ******* exhausted. We're doing our final dinner What do I what do you have? I've cod something. It smells kind of me gazpacho. I got Gazpacho and then back home for the final 12 hour worth the wear test, but I think we already know she's worth the wear It is currently 11 33 p.m So it's been over 12 hours at this point and this is how we're looking keep in mind I did touch up this nose bridge area here thanks to my glasses and I applied a little bit more pink blush and we did replace the Eyeshadow to match the second outfit of the night the rest of the base mouth all through here cheeks forehead I've not touched even once and we sweated we Sweated and we sweated thanks to the humidity and the 100 degree heat wave, too Overall, I think she's very much worth the wear.
