Cooler air gives Chicagoland a break before weekend heat returns

We have a beautiful day on the way. Yeah, it's going to be cooler than we have been accustomed to recently. I don't want a couple of cool days. And for those of you who love the heat, we're gonna bring that back big time here over the weekend, especially on sunday. Skies are also not full of smoke. Thank goodness we have finally gotten rid of that. It's gonna be a pretty nice day today. All things considered with temperatures on the cool side. I'm just marveling at that shot. They're looking out over the lake, a little bit breezy north winds at 11 and the dew point really low. We have 60°. Other current temperatures generally upper fifties and low sixties. We had 66 Gary 56° at Waukegan today. I think we'll be in the mid seventies for a high. That's about 10° below average. North winds are gonna go at a good clip. It's gonna be breezy, especially this afternoon, but that low humidity and the crisp air almost feels like fall and you might be thinking all that summer was too short. Just wait tonight. Another cool one. Pleasantly clear a pleasantly cool, mostly clear with low of 60. But there'll be a lot of suburban fifties on the map and then we get the heat back here. I think we'll be 86 on saturday 92 sunday 90 on monday 86° on Tuesday with little if any chance for meaningful rainfall anytime soon.
