Glacier National Park! Natures Wonderland of Majestic Beauty! Camping Hiking & Firebox Stove Cooking

For our family's summer vacation we decided to take nearly a thousand mile road trip to Glacier National Park!

To be honest, I had never given much thought to Glacier. It was so far away that it never seemed like an option. So I had never looked into it at all, I didn't have any expectations. I'm sure I'd seen some pictures as a kid or whatever but didn't remember. I had no idea of the glorious majesty that awaited us!

A week before our trip, my wife Jessica said "let's go to glacier" we had been experiencing a heat wave and Glacier sounded nice and cool so I said "okay, sure" I mean, I knew it would be good and it sounded like an opportunity to get away to spend time as a family. So, what the heck, why not? Boy or boy am I ever glad we went! What an amazing place! More majestic than I can describe with words and the time we spent as a family was some of our best ever! The bonds of our connections with one another were strengthened by the shared experience of such a magical place!
