Catch up, a very overdue catch up.
I, yeah, I've been so inconsistent with vlogging
because I had so much on with like the collection,
the half marathon, shooting for my new Moviverse program,
all the launch days and sick.
So like, I feel like I just got kicked
with everything at once.
First of all, I did a four minute PB in my half marathon.
Averaged 4.45 pace.
I did it.
How good?
Like, it was hard, but I felt strong the entire time.
Like, I didn't feel like I, you know, died towards the end.
It was comfortable, but it was, you know,
like I was pushing,
which is like the exact feeling you should feel on race day.
So that was a great weekend.
Joe ran his marathon on the Sunday
and he did it three hours, 17.
He, his average pace was faster in his marathon
than mine was in my half marathon.
Freak.
The couple of days, the two days prior to my half marathon,
I had half a day of e-com shooting,
which you would have already seen.
And then also a full day of campaign shooting,
which you also would have seen as well.
That was like 7.30 till 5 p.m.
And I had to do like so much running and working out.
And like, I was really nervous leading into the race day
because, you know, you're supposed to be like resting
and trying to stay off your legs.
But the race went like perfectly.
So, phew.
On the Tuesday, I shot for my new Move Your Lass program,
which is coming in August,
which that was really exciting.
I had to like finalize the program in a month.
So that three days of events,
like my collection launch day workout,
a Celsius workout that I had to run,
which was also on my birthday.
And then also another shoot with muscle
and then also a run club with muscle.
There's been a little bit going on.
But first and foremost, from my last vlog,
I've pretty much finished the apartment.
So I'll give you a little tour.
Fridge is still here.
Ignore that, we're sorting that out.
Ignore the stuff there.
But I've moved the apartment around.
So last time you saw the couch,
oh, we didn't have a couch actually.
The TV cabinet was over here,
but we put the couch in
and it was just like way too big for this area.
So flipped it around.
I've got some more cushions coming in the mail.
I really want to get a olive tree to put there as well.
Kitchen.
Yeah, I've just moved around stuff.
The collection, it's Monday now
and the collection is launching on Thursday.
So three days until launch.
So between the announcement and now,
or between the announcement and launch day,
I've had to just fully plan out exactly what I want to post
and then across Instagram and then TikTok
and then also making sure I get the story live
on YouTube as well.
So I'm using all my brain cells right now
to just make sure everything is planned out and ready to go.
I've actually loved, loved, loved designing the clothes.
I didn't think fashion would be my jam,
but performance is.
So I think adding that performance in
has really sparked my interest and it's been so fun.
I mean, it hasn't launched yet,
so I don't know how, you guys will know how it did,
but I don't know how it's gone yet.
So I just really hope that you guys love it
and I really hope it goes well.
So then Marcel probably wants me to do another collection
because I had a lot of fun.
And if I could do it again,
that would be really, really cool.
This week I need to,
so like last week I was like slowly getting back into it
after sickness,
but it is officially 13 weeks until I do my half ironman.
So we need to lock in essentially.
What a week of training is gonna look like
starting this week is two rides.
I'm gonna do an indoor ride and an outdoor ride.
The outdoor ride is just like chill.
The indoor ride will have efforts.
I'm gonna do three runs, an easy run, interval run,
and then also a longer run.
I think for the first little bit,
there won't be any brick sessions
just to kind of get the volume in.
I'm also now doing Hirox Perth.
Me saying I'm gonna take a break from Hirox's
and then signing up to another Hirox.
But in all honesty, it wasn't my fault.
I blame Bailey O'Brien
because he came up with the Celsius event
and he was like,
hey, this brand has given me a mixed doubles ticket,
but I don't know who to ask.
So do you wanna do it with me?
I was like, me being a person who can't say no to events
and being asked if I wanna do a Perth Hirox when,
or logically I can 100% do it, it's a bad combination.
So I thought about it for two minutes and then I said yes.
So I'm now doing Perth Hirox in like four or five weeks.
So we need to keep the speed sessions in there
because Bailey really, really wants to do a sub 60.
And obviously I haven't done one before
because I can't run that fast.
So we need to try and run that fast.
Oh yeah.
So I'm also doing one swim a week for now,
maybe potentially two swims a week,
just depending on my week.
Still gonna do a conditioning session
because I love them.
And then also good for Hirox.
And then two strengths
because the conditioning also kind of counts as a strength.
So technically like three strength sessions.
And then maybe that's it.
These tanks that we did are literally so good
because you can just like layer over everyday pieces
and the white is so crisp.
So I'm wearing flares with the tank.
It's obviously all muscle Republic.
I'm also meant to do my swim today.
Hence why I'm not bothering washing my hair
because that's the thing about adding swimming
to your routine is you gotta be really strategic
about your hair wash days.
So it's gonna be a slick butt sort of bike today.
Potato, steak, leftovers, rice, tomato, beetroot, sauerkraut,
just a whole bunch of stuff
that we had leftover from yesterday.
And Saturday also made Joe some lunch
because every Monday,
so he owns a gym and I train at his gym quite a bit,
but every Monday I have upper body, a swim
and then I also have a massage
which is done at his gym as well.
So I'm gonna bring him some lunch,
train some upper body and then get a massage
which I'm really excited for
because I ran 26Ks yesterday.
And you're probably like,
why the hell did you run 26Ks?
Well, for those of you who follow me for a couple of years,
you'll know that every day on my birthday,
I run the number of Ks that I'm turning.
Now my birthday was last Sunday, so a week ago,
but I was sick and there was just like no chance
I was running 26Ks.
I also had a Celsius event that day.
So like I couldn't run it in the morning
and yeah, it just wouldn't have been good.
It was also the week after I ran the half marathon.
So there was just like too many things telling me like,
you should not do this, but I still had to do it.
I still wanted to do it.
And so I was like, okay, I'll just postpone it a week
and then get it done.
So yeah, yesterday just went out, two of my friends,
I met them when I was at 3Ks and then I did 14Ks with me
and then I did the last, yeah, eight, 10.
Yeah, last little bit by myself.
And then they caught up and rode on a bike beside me,
which was actually really wholesome.
Thank goodness they joined me because I would have,
just running for two, like nearly three hours by yourself,
it's just, it's not that fun.
So they made it a lot more enjoyable.
It was actually like, yeah, so fun that they joined.
Obviously I've done marathons and stuff before,
but I forget that like, because of my speed now,
a half marathon is actually only an hour
and 40 minutes of running.
Whereas, you know, if, when you go a slow paced 26,
even though it's only an extra five Ks,
it's an extra hour of running because of, you know,
the pace and like going easy.
So I got to like, I got to like two hours yesterday.
I was like, my legs are pretty like, pretty cooked,
to be honest.
I was like, why, why are my legs so cooked at like,
you know, 18 Ks?
And then I realized it's, it's not the distance,
it's the time on legs.
I haven't done like that much time on the legs for a minute.
So I like, for marathon training,
you shouldn't worry about, you know,
say like running, running 30 K or whatever.
If you have a goal time of like four hours,
you should just aim to increase the time per week.
So this is what my coach did for me in my first marathon.
So you like, you know, I worked up to running
for three hours and 40 minutes.
And even though that was only 32, 35 Ks,
my goal time was four hours because of, you know,
race pace and stuff.
So the main thing for a marathon is just getting used
to running for that long.
So I'm going to eat like half of this now
and then go train, eat the other half and then get my rub.
Rub training done.
I needed that rub a lot.
My hip flexors were so tired after the run yesterday.
And now I need to go do this swim.
Swim done.
Did 1,200 meters.
Last week I think it was like 800.
So it's slowly building up.
But the issue was, like obviously my coach Matty,
he prescribed like efforts.
He didn't just prescribe like 1,200 meters just swim.
It was like a 200 meter like easy warmup
and then like hundreds and then 50s
and then like a backstroke and then like a cool down.
Trying to remember that,
because like obviously you can't have your phone in the pool.
So I was staring at my phone for like five minutes
beforehand trying to be like, okay, easy warmup
and then hundreds and then...
I'll tell you, I don't remember this.
So I just, I was like, I just remembered 200 easy.
And I literally kind of just made up my own
and did like four 100s with a 20 second rest between
and then like six 50s with a 15 second rest
and then a 50 meter backstroke
and then 150 meter like easy warm down,
which was definitely not the session.
But I saw my friend Jade there
and I'm pretty sure she used to be a swimmer.
So she knows all the tips and tricks,
but she had the session written on a piece of paper
in a plastic sleeve.
At the end of the pool.
I was like, that literally solves all my problems.
So next time I'm going to write my session
on a plastic sleeve and sit up by the end of the pool.
So I can actually do what my coach prescribed me
and not kind of make up the session on the spot.
Short break from this video,
because I want to introduce you to a brand
that I have recently found.
Obviously, you know that I love my gold jewelry.
I literally never take it off
and I want jewelry that's gonna last through workouts
and won't like tarnish or anything like that.
The brand is Linear.
They do these gorgeous dainty pieces.
They do rings, they do earrings, they do necklaces,
all of which I already wear.
A couple of pieces that I got from them
that I am wearing now, which I just love so much.
I'm always looking to introduce new little dainty pieces
to my collection and rings especially,
because I don't know,
I find they just bring it all together
and I haven't been a big ring girl recently,
but I really want to.
And the pieces that I got from them,
I already love and I'm already keen to go back
and add some more to my collection.
A couple of things I love about this brand is,
yes, they do the lab grown diamonds as well as full gold,
but if you're not willing to purchase jewelry for that much,
they also have the gold plated options.
These have a sterling silver base
and a 22 carat layer of gold,
which is actually five times thicker
than the regular gold plated jewelry,
which means it'll last a lot longer.
All their packaging is recycled and sustainable
and the jewelry itself is actually also recycled,
which is another big pick.
So I'll put the product names on the screen,
but I got this gorgeous dainty necklace.
I've actually been looking for a necklace like this
for a while,
cause I think it's just so cute and pretty.
Also can't go wrong with just a simple pair of huggies.
I've obviously got my seconds pierced,
so I need to go back and get another one
to put in the seconds as well.
But I find huggies, especially when training heaps,
don't get in the way.
They don't move as much and they don't catch
when I do say some work with a dead ball
or that sort of thing.
So it's an absolute just stable.
I usually have to replace these quite frequently,
but because these are a little bit more durable,
I'm hoping they last me so much longer.
And then this ring is so cute.
They have so many more options,
which I will definitely be going back and getting more of.
Quality of everything is amazing,
but I will leave all the details on the screen
and in the description below if you want to match me
or take a look for yourself,
cause I know I'm always getting asked
about where my jewellery is from.
So here is another brand that's going to be a staple.
♪♪♪
Happy Tuesday.
If you're wondering what this is,
it's my gut powder.
So I actually had another flare up like last week,
not nearly as bad as that other one like a month ago now.
But this powder, GI Revive,
it's so good for soothing the gut lining.
So my cushions came last night.
So now the couch is done.
And yeah, I think I really want to get an olive tree
to put in there just cause it's a bit too white.
Right, now I need to get ready
cause I am heading into the Move With Us office
to shoot new exercise demos for my new program
that's launching next month.
So when you like go into the app,
there's like a video of me doing the exercise.
It's like that.
So there shouldn't be too many
because I've filmed a lot of exercises
and there's not too many new ones that I haven't filmed,
but I need to wear and like try and look exactly the same
as I have in like my previous demos,
even though I look very different from my previous demos.
♪♪♪
Morning.
Oh no, this is not what we're doing.
This is what we're filming.
Timberdy.
Boss lady.
Oh, that hurt.
Two is a front row.
This is just for one exercise, isn't it?
I know.
But I've always like been the one to go,
nah, let's not do it.
You know, it's just one exercise.
I'm like, nah, we'll do it this time.
And this machine is literally only abduction.
So you can't even do anything else with it either.
Literally for 15 seconds.
Not even 10 seconds.
Four more to film, and then we're done.
It's very quick and easy.
The first time I ever did this,
there was like,
like over 300 I had to do.
And it took like eight hours.
So like eight hours straight of exercising.
Oi, okay, okay.
She's got it.
Not only muscles here, huh?
Not just a pretty face.
Yeah.
Home.
Jo is fed.
I'm fed.
Had lunch with my friend Soph,
who also works at Jo's gym.
And then I also picked up some large postal bags
because I need to send away the giveaway winners clothes.
Everything's just been hectic
and this has kept beeping on the back burner.
So I need to send those out.
So if the girls who won the giveaway are watching this,
I'm sorry, they are coming.
I've just been cut out.
All right, you may have been able to guess by like
what I wear.
I'm obsessed with brown.
And like there's hardly any brown after birth.
Anyway, muscle did a drop of brown.
So I had to get some staples.
The long sleeve with a twist on the front.
It's like long sleeve,
but it kind of like dips down a bit with a low back.
Like pants, black pants,
white version of that crop, such a staple.
A zip up jacket.
In luxe, I do size down because it is quite stretchy
and I like that more snug feeling.
All right, time to film a full collection try on video.
Absolute carnage after trying all those on.
Now I knew there were a lot of outfit combos
because everything goes with everything.
But until you have to speed change
through every single combo,
let me count how many combos I filmed.
45 combos and I think I missed a couple.
Morning team, how are we?
I'm good.
I'm going for a run.
I need a run.
Oops, there's my toast.
I didn't end up cycling yesterday.
I ended up having a rest day.
But I'm also going to Sydney this afternoon and tonight
to be at the muscle HQ in the morning for the launch.
So gonna run this morning.
Jonah is going to go see the Odyssey.
This weekend on the 30th of July,
Spider-Man is coming out.
I hope some of you are sharing my excitement for that.
I know some of you definitely will not be.
I'm gonna eat this and start running
because I got seven Ks to run.
That felt terrible.
That sucked.
I only did four.
I got, well, as I was walking down,
I was like, my legs are pretty cooked still
from the 26th.
I was like, oh, maybe I'll just do, I'll do five
because Matty, he did program me a,
because he was going to like ease me back
into the running last week,
but he didn't know that I run the number of Ks I was turning.
Anyway, he programmed a rest day for me on Sunday.
I was like,
no, 26 Ks.
So yeah, I'm just gonna take a little bit
of volume off a few runs this week
to compensate for the extra volume I did on Sunday.
I might actually do my ride
that I was supposed to do yesterday, today,
since I don't have heaps of time
to like drive to the gym and back
before I have to go to the airport.
I just, I got a workshop.
I have like my sessions,
but I'm gonna have a little jumble this week.
This is today's outfit of the day.
My collection, I'm not sure if it's sold out or not
because launch is tomorrow.
So I'm speaking to future,
but if it's not, my fit.
So cool.
My favorite fit of the collection, the all white.
All right, meeting, meeting.
Last week, I feel like it's been ages
since I saw you guys last,
but it's really only been two weeks.
I know.
Intermission because I have a bedside table to build.
One and a half hours for assembly time.
This, challenge accepted because there's no way.
Stuff.
Like a Wahoo thing that my mom gave me.
Yeah.
Honestly helps a lot having parents
who are well into triathlons
because they can just help me out with anything.
Like my mom gave me that and she's like, yeah,
told me what to do to set up and stuff
and like download this app.
So then your Zwift ride uploads to Strava.
And then obviously my dad is in Italy right now,
solo riding every day,
like riding a hundred Ks every day for like two weeks
or something ridiculous.
First like proper session on the indoor trainer.
I definitely need a bike fit though
because it's not comfortable.
Something is wrong.
I need a new seat because that one is hard.
Yeah, I need to get someone to take a look at me
and how I'm sitting on the bike.
It's not feeling comfortable.
Tuna, rice, Greek yogurt, tomato, beetroot, lettuce,
pickled onion, yogurt, and then some ranch as well.
Yeah.
Happy launch day.
Launch is in an hour.
Goes live in an hour.
I am nervous, but I'm also excited.
I'm like, what if it doesn't go well?
But like, I hope it does.
Very, very, very, very exciting day.
Anyway, it's just turned 7 a.m. now.
I need to leave shortly,
but I want to quickly walk down to the water
to see the sunrise because it's really pretty.
Good morning.
So cool.
The pictures were so good.
Yeah.
When I was scrolling, I was like, oh my gosh.
The ones in the gym, especially, like there's a lot of fun.
And it looks so good.
Oh, no, it's this one, of the shoulder.
Oh, yeah, I love that one.
This one, yeah, that one is so cool.
And the motion, that's cool.
It's 8 o'clock!
Let's go!
All right.
Hello.
First thing that is sold out
is the white hybrid shorts and small,
which I think we're all,
I mean, I'm not surprised, but everyone else is.
Going to go pack two orders.
Whoa.
Hannah or Williams.
We're going to go throw the frowning belt in
thanks to the purchases as a cheeky gift.
Home sweet home.
Holy.
What a morning.
Oh my gosh, what went so well.
Like so many girls have messaged me
saying that they ordered their pieces
and the shorts have sold out in the small.
The white shorts have sold out
in the extra small, small and medium.
And then the other two have sold out in the small.
I don't know how it's tracking now,
but I knew we didn't have enough.
I mean, it wasn't up to me,
but I was so worried.
I was like, oh, I hope we have enough shorts.
Cause I know how annoying it is
when you want to get something
and then you'd go on and you can't get it.
Muscle don't have a plan of restocking,
but I'm going to try and change that.
The white shorts in particular sold out in like 20 minutes.
Oh, I'm going to see what I can do.
I'm going to see if I can persuade them to do a mini restock
in the shorts in a couple months,
or even if it's not in those colors,
a specialty colorway.
But whoever placed an order,
I just want to say thank you so much for your support.
And I just hope you love these pieces as much as I do.
It's making me want to keep doing it
and creating more collections and yeah.
And I reckon I'm going to die
if I'm walking one time
and I see a girl running in the shorts
or running in a bra or something.
I'm going to be like, oh my gosh, that's insane.
And now we can march.
Conditioning fit, had to.
Had to rep the collection on launch day.
I already know this YouTube video
I'm going to get spammed with comments
saying to restock the shorts,
but it's not up to me.
If it was up to me, I would.
Class done.
It wasn't like too hard.
It was probably like a medium.
Plus my legs were like pretty cooked
from the ride yesterday.
I wasn't expecting them to be that heavy.
I mean, I was on a plane today and yesterday.
Morning, Friday.
And it's a beautiful day.
The sun has finally come back out.
It was like sort of a sunrise this morning, not really.
There was like the clouds on the horizon,
but it was still absolute cracker, nonetheless.
I need to do a run this morning though.
I have an interval run to do.
So I'm just going to have a piece of toast,
get ready, and then get outside and do it.
One of the reasons why I love Joe
is he's always in such a good mood, such a good mood.
And this morning I was on my walk,
or like I'd just gone outside,
and he texted me a picture of him smiling, thumbs up.
And then with the caption,
good morning, open up the curtains, open up the windows,
play the music really loud.
It's going to be a great day.
Yes, it is.
It is going to be a great day.
But as for my session that I need to do,
15 minute warmup,
five rounds of three minutes at 420 pace
into 90 seconds at six minute pace,
a 10 minute warm down.
That's going to be quite hard.
I get asked all the time about my running headphones.
They are shocks.
The OpenFit 2 Plus,
the OpenRun Pro,
or the OpenFit Pro,
they're all very similar.
I'm not sure what the discount is,
but I know it'll get you something off.
I've gotten so many people on them.
Even Joe was so skeptical.
And then I just made him wear it a few times.
He's like, okay,
I'm not going back to normal headphones now.
Oh, it's hot.
I got one more.
I did the first three with the jog between.
For the last two, I had to do the walk,
just because I'm a bit cooked.
Cool down time.
It was hot.
It was hard.
But, I still had my paces.
Saving life.
If you ever say like,
oh, it's too hard.
If you held your paces,
it wasn't too hard.
It's meant to be hard.
Shoes off.
Straight into the ocean.
The thing I love about winter is that
you can kind of go out and run
whenever during the day,
because it's not,
like it's warm,
but it's still two degrees.
Whereas in summer,
the intervals,
like you literally have to go before 7 a.m.
Otherwise, it's just hot.
And it's so humid in summer.
You know how earlier in the week
I opened that package from Muscle
with like all the brown stuff?
Well,
this is the
flares?
I'm getting a phone call.
Hang on.
Who's?
Oh, it's Joseph.
Hello?
How are you?
It's just a plate of egg.
How therapeutic is just like a
massive deep clean.
And on a Friday too.
So,
don't even have to do it on the weekend.
We're all set for the weekend.
Heading to the gym now.
I'm just going to do
a few staples
that I need to do.
So like some
RDLs,
probably a type of hip thrust calf raises.
Maybe some like lap pull downs.
Some core.
Because I'm doing the strength sessions
from my Half Mara program.
But,
they have
three strength programs.
Sorry, three strength sessions in there.
because I'm kind of running out of time
this week with like the travel and stuff,
I've had to cut one of them.
So, I'm going to join
the lower body and the full body together.
And just take like bits and pieces from each.
I don't normally do
like a strength session on the day.
Like a heavy strength session after
I've done like a hard threshold session.
Just because
I'm not going to be able to push nearly as hard
in the strength session as I would like to.
So yeah, I was a little bit tired doing that strength,
which is obviously not ideal.
I would have done this session on
Wednesday after I would have done my easy run.
And obviously I would have done my bike on
Tuesday.
So yeah, I just had to rearrange the week a little bit.
So it is what it is.
But we got it done regardless.
Also, I was just checking like my messages
and tags and stuff.
Girls are already getting their orders
that they placed yesterday.
Everyone looks so good.
Also, I'm getting spammed about
these shorts and like asking for a restock.
Guys, it's not up to me.
If it was up to me, I would have restocked it
as soon as I saw one size sold out.
But it's up to Muscle Republic.
So,
please spam them.
Spam them enough that they do do a restock
because yeah, it's not up to me.
Someone just ran past in the collection.
She looks so good.
So cool.
Morning.
I can't,
I can't believe we saw a girl this morning
in the collection.
Literally dropped two days ago.
And like, I'm getting so, so many tags
and like stories and TikToks and videos
of all the girls like literally ordering
8 a.m.
Wet Thursday and getting their order 10 a.m. Friday.
Like that is insane.
Like Muscle Republic, oh my God.
They just, they do it differently
because that is crazy.
Even like all of my friends up here
that ordered their order on Wednesday,
they've already got it.
Which is crazy.
I can't believe we saw a girl run past us this morning.
That is,
I'm sorry, that's never gonna get old.
Even like, I was just watching,
like scrolling through all my tags
for an hour this morning.
Getting matching outfits
for the Sydney Marathon.
Oh, so cool.
I just don't know how I feel about,
cause like if you put it up, it's up.
I only did an hour
because I literally can't sit on that seat any longer.
It's so uncomfortable.
And oh, I just need a new seat and a bike fit.
So yeah, only an hour.
I was meant to do 90 minutes,
but I was just like, I was just so uncomfortable.
But it'll do, it'll do.
I'm probably gonna end the video here
cause we'll, Jo and I are just gonna chill out today.
I need to start editing this video.
And then tomorrow, yeah,
I just got a 12K run to do in the morning.
And then yeah, just chill out the rest of the day.
So that is my week.
That has been my week.
Hope you enjoyed it.
It gave you a little insight
into what everything is looking like at the moment.
But thank you for joining me for another week.
And yeah, I'll see you in the next one.
