This video reviews the Console Vault Tactical Magnet, a versatile tool designed to securely hold items like knives, pens, or pistols. While optimized for use inside vehicle safes to prevent gear from shifting during transit, its strong hold and rubberized coating make it suitable for various home and tactical applications.
Hello and welcome. Today I want to talk to you about this tactical magnet that I picked up from
Console Vault. Now I own and have reviewed quite a few products from Console Vault. I've been very
happy with them, mainly the in-vehicle safes, but also the wall safe and a couple other items. If
you want to check out those reviews, I will list them in the description, so be sure to check them
out if you're interested. Going back to this tactical magnet, a buddy of mine had come over,
said he was interested in getting a vehicle safe from Console Vault for his Gladiator. We were
looking on the website and I noticed that they had these tactical magnets that I had not seen
before. Now I own a few different tactical magnets from other manufacturers. I use them for all sorts
of things around the house, from displaying some of my knife collection to keeping certain tools,
let's say handy in strategic places in my home, pretty easy to remove this magnet and repair any
minor blemishes that it might have left, as opposed to other options that are out there on
the market. Now this tactical magnet was designed more so for the Console Vault's in-vehicle safes.
Instead of your tool, whether it's keys, knives, tactical pen, pistol, instead of it being on the
bottom of the safe and you might have to fumble around to get it, having the tactical magnet
inside of the safe with whatever tool you want affixed to it makes it super easy to just reach
in there, place your hand to the side, grab the tool, take it out and be able to deploy it and
utilize it depending on your needs. Now there are a couple different ways to affix this magnet to
wherever you want to place it. There are a couple holes on the side and it also comes with two
screws and there is also the adhesive from 3M. It is a VHB adhesive, so basically you just pull it
back, stick it on like a sticker, super strong adhesive and it should be good to go for 98%
of your applications. The tactical magnet has a rubberized front so it won't damage your tool or
whatever you are affixing to it and it holds up to 25 pounds. I've tested it, played around with it
and it really does hold those 25 pounds and keeps that tool in place. Now most of the tools that
you're probably going to affix to this do not come anywhere near 25 pounds but the point is, especially
if it's in your vehicle and you're bouncing around and bumping around in your vehicle, you don't want
that tool moving around because then when you actually do need it and you reach into your
ConsoleVault or into your safe to be able to retrieve that tool, it might not be in the position
that you want it to be in and it might actually be in a dangerous position where you can hurt yourself.
So, so far this has been the strongest magnet as far as this type of magnet for this type of
application that I have in my collection. So thumbs up on ConsoleVault for that. As I mentioned, I'll
put more information in the description as well as my affiliate link and if you do use my affiliate
link, you will get a discount. So don't miss out on that. I appreciate your support if you do use
my affiliate link and at the same time, I don't want you missing out on any extra discount that
you can actually get. So bottom line, if you are in the market for one of these type of magnets or
didn't realize that you actually needed one of these type of magnets until now, it's small, it's
sleek, it works, it protects your tool and it's relatively budget-friendly for what you get.
Definitely take a look at the Tactical Magnet from ConsoleVault.
