Video Summary
AI GeneratedTwo world-class bike riders, Chris and Danny, compete to conquer the world's craziest bike obstacle course. The course is divided into easy, hard, and \"impossible\" sections. After several failed attempts by local riders and a gritty, aggressive struggle from Chris, Danny utilizes a methodical approach to become the first person to successfully complete the course.
This is the craziest bike obstacle course on the planet.
Today two of the best riders in the world are going to take this on.
Each obstacle gets harder the further you go with the last one being the toughest.
It genuinely might be impossible to ride.
Before Chris and Danny go head to head, I've got a group of riders from across the UK to give it a go.
Here we go. Come on Jono!
Worried for my life right now.
The course is broken down into three sections.
The easy section is made up of the first three features.
This is then followed by the hard section.
And he's off and the log claims another.
If they make it through the hard section they will be faced with the impossible section.
It's ridiculous dude.
Made up of the final three features.
Is that humanly possible to get to the end? It can't be.
It's living up to its name. That was pretty wild.
So far no one has come close to completing this course.
It's now time for two of the world's best to go head to head.
Will either make it across?
Literally if we get wet though we're absolutely good.
You got it man.
I'm actually scared of overshooting.
This thing looks disgusting.
He nearly went in there. That was sketchy.
You're just going to do it?
It's time.
Okay, f*** it.
Face off.
Right, he's looking really good.
I can't f***ing see over the thing.
There is a clear first challenge for both riders.
Danny is going to take it on first.
Who's your money on? He's getting over the cheese wheel first.
Danny gets over the hamster wheel first go.
I'm waiting to go in. Please.
My money's on Danny.
He's not done this yet.
I think that's too slow.
Oh my God. Oh my God.
Oh my God. He nearly died.
Bit scary. Do you like it?
Right, I'm going to get my arse up there.
What's he got?
I'm going to get the seesaw.
Try and stay dry Chris.
Nice. Go on Chris.
This thing's scary.
Chris is now halfway through the course.
But wanted to pause before attempting a full run.
What a boss.
So the wetsuit's off.
It had to be done mate. Why?
All the way from Scotland. It ain't that cold to be honest.
I feel like you're confident. What's next? The wall ride?
Wall ride next, yeah, which is kind of like my cup of tea really.
I hope I even get there again to be honest.
After that it's a ladder, which I don't have much hope for that one.
You've got the furthest so far.
Stay dry. Yeah, thanks mate.
You're like, oh I could do that myself.
Until you're actually there in person.
You're like, oh f*** this is actually really difficult.
Danny's decided to take a step back,
analysing Chris' next full run.
Over the wheel.
Right, this wall ride starts the...
He's in! What happened? What happened?
He's gone on the pole after the wheel,
probably thinking about the wall ride,
and he's in the water.
Our first contestant is down.
The skinnies, for Chris,
have shown a chink in his armour,
and at the end of the course it gets a lot, lot skinnier.
Are you glad you took that wetsuit off a second ago?
Yeah.
Chris is soaking wet, but he's gone straight back up to the start for another go.
He must be shivering.
The log that got him out.
Yes, Chris!
The wall ride, done.
So there's two options on this ladder.
You can either bounce over the pole,
or there's a really skinny board down the left side.
Yes!
On to the next section.
I just need to kind of get over it.
I'm impressed with him hopping on to this next part.
I'm like a slow speed guy.
He's a fast speed.
These are 90 degree, really, really narrow skinny corners.
He seems to be working out with wet tyres.
That's pretty impressive, though.
But that is half the impossible section done.
This last bit,
with these skinny poles,
just want to see someone try it.
That cooled you off a bit.
That's why I'm a bit scared to do it,
because I feel like when you lose your balance, you lose it.
After sitting back for a while,
allowing for Chris's lead to grow,
Danny's now feeling confident to attempt a full run.
OK, coming in.
Right, he's on to the seesaw.
He looks so stable.
He's going so much slower than Chris.
A bit of a wobble, but no problem.
This is now the furthest he's got.
On the ladder section.
So, so hard.
He's choosing to bounce across the rails.
We haven't seen Chris do that.
Breathe.
A little bit.
On to the zigzag.
There's so much movement on these,
but I don't think it'll be a problem for Danny.
We might see him get to this last impossible section.
My forearms are burning.
This bit's really hard.
It goes on forever.
I thought this was the last one.
I want him to get an absolute circuit.
No matter how much I want him to go, I know.
So, two completely different approaches
for Chris and Danny.
Chris is just being really gritty, going again and again and again,
drenched just more and more.
Danny's being really methodical,
so he's looking at all the sections,
spending a lot of time on this last one,
and it really does come down to this final pole.
They've been going for hours now.
The course might actually be too hard.
Danny's back on the course.
A little bit less aggressive than Chris,
like I said, but so much balance.
Once again, he's going rail to rail
on the ladder, which is so hard.
He's back on the zigzags.
We just want to see if he can get past where he went last time
and also where Chris got the time before.
He's right on to the last bit.
You've got it, Danny.
You've got it.
I'm breathing hard.
He's on to the final section.
This is it.
I'm breathing hard.
You've got it, man.
He's still dry.
Those zigzags, honestly.
It's like going up a brutal climb
and then looking
to the top to see how far
you've got to go and realizing you've got
another third of the way to go and you're already peaking.
The ball's in my court once again.
We're actually losing the light now.
Chris is dropping in once again.
He's looking pretty confident.
Look how much he's dripping.
Go on.
Over the log.
Easy on the wall ride.
He's not had much luck with these zigzags.
Seems to be riding them really aggressive though.
Here we go.
Yes, Chris.
Let's go. He's looking like he's doing it.
Go on.
Come on.
It was so close.
Look where he is.
He's in reach of the finish.
I'm pretty happy with that.
Again, it's not good at riding along skinny stuff.
So close.
Every rider
that has attempted this course
has been defeated.
If there's anything that can spur me on to doing something,
it's a sunset.
Danny's back at the start for another attempt.
I will try,
but I don't always get it.
He's looking super comfortable on the early sections now.
He's over the ladder. His legs are probably pretty pumped.
We've seen him get pretty tired on this zigzag
in the last runs.
It turns out it's not impossible.
It turns out it wasn't far off.
That's amazing.
