Achieving a six-figure income on YouTube requires shifting focus from vanity metrics like views and subscribers to a business funnel approach. By targeting a high-value niche and optimizing the conversion path from \"Right Views\" to high-ticket sales and Lifetime Value (LTV), creators can generate significant revenue even with a small, specialized audience.
So six figures a year on YouTube
requires fewer views than you think,
fewer subscribers than you think,
and fewer videos than you think.
And I already know what's going on in your head right now.
This is bull, another guy on YouTube
telling me that it's easy to do.
But just shut up and listen for a second
because this is not gonna be like
any other video you've watched.
The reason most creators never hit $100,000 a year
has nothing to do with talent,
has nothing to do with the algorithm,
and it has nothing to do with how many times you post.
It's really because they're playing the wrong game,
and that's because they've never seen the math
and they don't understand the right strategy.
Nobody's ever pulled up a whiteboard
and shown them what the whole damn machine looks like.
So that's exactly what I'm gonna do today.
As somebody who easily got my channel to six figures a year,
and then I've done it again and again with other channels.
I'm gonna be reverse engineering $100,000 a year
right in front of you, every number,
every conversion rate, every step of the funnel,
and you're gonna steal the whole thing.
And by the way, this works for 100,000 a year,
but it also works for 100,000 a month,
and it also works for a million a month, right?
We've done million dollar months on YouTube,
but it all comes down to just understanding the math,
understanding the underlying strategy
of how to get to the number that you want.
So if you appreciate me doing this type of video
and you wanna see me make more of these videos
in the future, let me know by gently tapping
that like button, and let's jump into it right now.
All right, so when it comes to YouTube,
there's basically five different numbers you need to know,
and it kinda looks like a funnel.
And at the top of the funnel is views.
Now, this is where most people are stuck at.
They basically think that in order to make money on YouTube,
you have to get as many views as possible,
and that is simply not the case.
I have example after example after example
that I could show you, but just one example,
our client Carla, she's got about 1,500 subscribers,
and she messaged me the other day saying
that she closed a $100,000 contract
from her channel with 1.5K subs,
even though her videos get like 100 or 200 views,
sometimes even less than that,
and yet she closed a $100,000 contract.
Now, of course, that is an extreme example.
I have even more extreme examples than that.
There are plenty of people who work with us
that get a lot of views and also make a lot of money,
but the whole point is getting views isn't what you want.
What you want, right, let's cross out views,
and let's put what you actually want here,
which is the right views.
That's what you wanna get.
You wanna get the right views.
You wanna get people that actually
can buy stuff from you, right?
Now, of course, the most extreme examples of YouTubers
are people like MrBeast,
who get like 100 million views every single video,
and out of those 100 million views,
there might be a few thousand people
that can actually buy his stuff,
but what you wanna do is you wanna maximize
the number of the right views.
So this means that if you can get a few hundred views
and 100% of them are potential customers, great,
or let's just say you get 5,000 views
and 50% of them are the right customers, also great.
So which one would you rather have?
One million views and 0% of them are the right customers,
or 100,000 views and 1% are the right customers,
or would you rather have 5,000 views
and 50% are the right customers?
Well, if you have one million views
and 0% are the right customers, aka the right views,
then you're not gonna make any money, right?
Nobody's gonna actually be a buyer,
and this really doesn't matter what you're promoting.
I mean, whether it's an affiliate link,
sponsorship, et cetera,
or you're selling your own products,
it really doesn't matter.
Sponsors are not gonna continue paying you
if your audience doesn't actually buy stuff.
But if you had 100K views, that would be about 1,000 buyers.
And if you had 5,000 views and 50% of them were buyers,
that's 2,500 buyers.
So in that case, this would be the winner, the 5,000 views.
Now, let's just say this 100K views,
instead of 1%, let's just say it had 5% buyers.
Well, in that case, you would have 5,000 buyers,
and so this one would be the winner instead.
So it really doesn't matter as much
about how many views you get.
What matters is how many of the right views you get.
And I really need you to understand this
because there are countless examples
of broke YouTubers out there.
They get millions of views and make absolutely no money.
Okay, so this whole thing is just to illustrate
that whenever I say views,
what I really mean is the right views.
So the second thing you need to pay attention to is clicks.
So of the people who watch your video,
how many of them actually click a link in the description?
Okay, so one, we've got the right views.
Two, we've got clicks.
Three, we've got leads.
Of the people that clicked on your link,
how many of them actually opted in
to whatever you're giving away?
Because typically, you're gonna collect
their information as a lead.
Now, to be fair, you could just skip this step
and try to sell them something automatically,
but typically, the smartest thing to do
is going to actually be to collect their information.
Then four is sales.
So of the people that you get as leads,
what percentage of them actually convert into sales?
And five is LTV.
So what is the actual lifetime value
of those people who actually buy stuff from you?
Now, it's really good to know when it comes to LTV,
like what is the amount of money you make right off the bat?
Now, when it comes to LTV,
there's other numbers that you need to know.
We're gonna talk about those here in a moment,
but these are the five numbers
that you absolutely must know to have success on YouTube,
and these are the five numbers
that almost no YouTubers pay any attention to whatsoever.
Quick break, I'm gonna be doing a live training
on treating YouTube like a business.
This is gonna work for people who have online businesses,
in-person businesses, and people who just want
to treat YouTube like a business from the beginning.
It is a completely free training, no strings attached.
In fact, I'm giving away even more bonuses at the training.
Just as an example,
I'm gonna be giving away my Niche Validator,
and this is gonna be available
for both Clod as well as ChatGPT,
which is a super valuable piece of software
where you can finally figure out
what the best niche for you is.
So do not miss out on this training.
Make sure you sign up for it down in the description
and the pinned comment below
because you only get it if you join the training.
So if you don't join now, you might miss it,
but that being said, in the workshop, you'll get to meet me,
you'll get to ask me questions directly,
so I look forward to meeting you.
So click the link in the description
and the pinned comment below.
Make sure you put it on your calendar,
and if for whatever reason you missed out on it,
you weren't able to attend,
make sure you still click that link
because we might be having workshops in the future as well,
and you'll be the first to know about it.
So yeah, hope to see you there.
And now back to your regularly scheduled programming.
So let's go into each one of these step-by-step.
Okay, so number one, when it comes to the right views,
we already kind of went over
why getting the right views is so important,
but we need to go even deeper into this
because this is where most YouTubers' brains
are just fundamentally broken.
Most YouTubers think that more views equals more money,
but what they need to do instead
is begin with the end in mind.
First of all, who are you targeting?
And what painful problem are you helping them solve?
And generally speaking, if you wanna make money
and you wanna get the right views,
you need to be targeting the right niche.
And in order to target the right niche,
you wanna be targeting real people
with real problems and real money, right?
You wanna target specific people
and you wanna target people who have problems
that you can actually help them solve,
and you want to have your niche
be people with real money, right?
So you wanna actually know who you're targeting,
that's the real people.
You want them to have painful problems
that you can help them solve, that's real problems,
and you want them to be willing to pay you money
to help them solve those problems, that's the real money.
So in the case of my client Carla,
who was able to basically with a 1.5K subs channel,
close a $106,000 contract from that channel,
the reason she was able to do this
is because the people that she's talking to
are business owners and not just any business owners
because most business owners
barely even hire any employees,
they might just have like one employee
or something like that.
So not just any business owner,
but specifically business owners
looking to hire for outsourcing, okay?
So they're looking to hire specifically
in areas outside of the United States
for specific positions,
usually like customer service related
or something like that.
And Carla has a recruiting agency, right?
So she actually has a placement and recruiting agency
where she recruits and places lots of different people
in various different parts of the world,
like the Philippines or Latin America.
So that is how she was able to land a $106,000 contract.
And by the way, this is just starting,
she's probably gonna make a lot more than that
from this contract.
Because she's targeting business owners,
they obviously have a lot of money,
they're a sophisticated audience,
they're willing to trade that money
to save themselves time.
And the thing about sophisticated audiences
that you really need to understand is weirdly enough,
they actually don't care that much about money
because scarcity creates value
and you care about money when you don't have it.
Once you have money, weirdly enough,
you actually don't really care about it that much.
What business owners do care about is time and convenience.
And so business owners are willing to exchange their money,
which they have an abundance of for time and convenience.
And that's exactly what happened in this situation.
Now, I am not saying by any means
that you only have to target business owners
or anything like that,
but you do want to make sure that you're targeting
an audience that actually has money to spend.
So if you're making gaming content
where everybody who watches the content
is like 15-year-olds or 16-year-olds,
chances are they don't have any money to spend.
So generally speaking, what I recommend you do
is I recommend that you make educational content
and here's why.
So entertainment content typically makes
about one to $3 per 1,000 views.
That's what normal channels are making.
Really good channels might make something
like five to $10 per 1,000 views
if they're really good at monetizing.
And of course, this is from all sources of revenue,
not just the ads that pop up on your channel.
This is all different sources of revenue,
like affiliate links, sponsorships,
anything that you sell, et cetera, et cetera.
Then you've got mass market,
which I'm just gonna put as MM, education content.
Okay, mass market education content.
This typically makes about 10 to $20 per 1,000 views.
And this is assuming that you're not selling
to a sophisticated audience
and you're not selling like a high ticket product, okay?
So we're just gonna say low to medium ticket product.
So mass market education, low to medium ticket product,
10 to $20 per 1,000 views.
If you're really good, you might get it up
to like 30 to $100 per 1,000 views.
This is how we're able to help our clients
get to this range,
even if they're kind of making mass market content
and they're not really selling a high ticket product
because they're not targeting a sophisticated audience.
Then you've got mass market education
that is targeting high ticket, right?
So they are selling high ticket
because enough of their audience is sophisticated
that they can sell high ticket.
Let me kind of make this obvious here.
Now, normal here is, you know,
you're probably gonna be making
about 100 to $300 per 1,000 views.
And if you're good,
you can make anywhere between $300 and $1,000
per 1,000 views.
So this is essentially what I'm doing
on this channel you're watching right now.
This is my 1.5 million subscriber channel.
I do make more mass market type content on this channel.
It appeals to a bit of a broader audience,
but I still do have a lot of sophisticated people
that watch this content.
And I make somewhere between $400 to $800,
depending on the month, per 1,000 views.
Then we have the next one,
which is what I typically recommend
that people start off with.
And that is niche education content.
Another way that I like to refer to this
is authority content, okay?
Now, almost always,
if you're doing niche educational content,
you are gonna be selling something high ticket.
To be fair, you can do that and then not sell high ticket.
You could sell software,
you could sell like a group membership,
something on school,
but most of the time you're gonna be selling
something high ticket.
And you're likely gonna be making
about $1,000 per 1,000 views.
But if you're really good,
you can make even up to like $1,000 to $10,000
per 1,000 views.
So on my second channel,
Shane Hummus, the Content Growth Engine,
that channel is targeted towards business owners
or like very advanced YouTubers.
And on that channel,
I make about $4,000 per 1,000 views.
So this is why I tell you
that you really need to begin with the end in mind, right?
You need to think about who are you serving?
What problem are you helping them solve?
What solutions do you have for that problem?
And then how much would they be willing
to pay you for that solution?
This is something that's very, very important
to think about from the very beginning.
And this is something we help a ton of people
really dial in.
Not just their niche,
but also their monetization strategy,
because these two go hand in hand.
So you can probably see here
that you don't have to get that many views
if you're targeting the right people.
And the truth is,
there's only so many eyeballs in the world, right?
So let's just do the quick math here.
There's about 8 billion people in the world.
YouTube already has 2 billion MAU,
that's monthly active users.
Most of the people who are using YouTube
are people who actually have money.
That's why they're able to use YouTube,
because they have computers,
they have an internet connection, et cetera.
So we've already captured the majority
of the people in the world who actually have money.
For sure, we've captured the majority
of first world countries
and first world English speaking countries already.
So you can't get that many more people to watch YouTube.
You're capped, there's a ceiling.
Additionally, of the people watching YouTube,
there's been lots of studies done
and people are watching 10 plus hours a day of content, right?
People are spending 10 plus hours a day on Netflix,
their computer screens, their phone screens,
their tablet screens, laptops, TVs, et cetera.
And again, with this one,
there's only so many hours in the day.
I mean, if we went from 10 hours a day to 12,
that's like a 20% increase.
And eventually they just have to sleep.
So again, there's only so many eyeballs in the world
and there's only so many hours a day
that they can be watching content.
So the smartest thing to do
is rather than trying to get more views,
what you should do instead
is you should try to give more value
to a smaller amount of people.
This isn't just YouTube.
This has happened in every single media industry
that's basically ever existed.
When media industries first start,
whether it's newspapers or magazines or the internet,
like blogs online or it's radio shows, et cetera, et cetera,
it always starts with mass market entertainment content,
okay?
It's entertainment content that's mass market.
Then what ends up happening is it gets more niche, right?
Cause there's only so many eyeballs in the world.
There's only so many people
that can actually consume your content.
So it goes from mass market entertainment content
to mass market education plus niche entertainment.
And then it niches down even further
to the point where it's basically
just all niche entertainment plus niche educational content.
And these are the people that are crushing it the most.
This has happened with magazines.
This has happened with newspapers, radio shows, blogs.
It's every industry out there.
You can look and you're gonna see the same exact stuff
happening over and over again.
It's happened with books as well, right?
That's the oldest form of content probably.
And it happened with books.
So this is exactly what phase YouTube is in right now.
We are heading towards the niche entertainment
and niche education phase of YouTube,
where you serve a much more narrow audience,
but you give them a lot more value.
And I always tell people to just do niche education
because of the fact that it's just way easier to do.
It requires way less skill.
There's way less competition.
You don't need to get nearly as many views
and you can make way more money with way less views.
So I always recommend that people do niche education.
Of course, now and then we do work
with entertainment channels, but for the most part,
we work with niche education channels
or mass market education channels.
Because if you're gonna do entertainment content,
you are literally competing with Mr. Beast.
And I don't know about you,
but I do not wanna compete with Mr. Beast, right?
He's pretty freaking smart.
All right, now that we've established
that you need to get the right views,
the second thing is, is you need to get clicks.
Now, this is something that surprisingly,
a lot of people mess up on.
This one really surprises me,
but one, people aren't getting clicks.
Two, they're not tracking their clicks
or three, they are tracking their clicks,
but they're doing it the wrong way.
Okay, so there's several different ways
that people can mess this up.
The first one is just simply
not having a call to action, right?
So in your video, you need to have a call to action
where you literally tell people
to click the link in the description,
click the link in the pinned comment,
scan the QR code, et cetera, et cetera.
You need to have a call to action
where typically you talk about some sort of problem
or some sort of pain that they're having.
You tell them about your solution to that.
A lot of the time, it's gonna be something for free.
And then you tell them to click the link
in the description in the pinned comment below.
Now, to be fair, you can also just sell them directly.
And in some cases that actually works,
but generally speaking, it's much smarter
to get them to actually just click the link.
You give them something for free.
This is called a lead magnet.
And you give that to them in exchange for their information,
which is typically their name and their email address.
So you have a CTA to a lead magnet,
and you want to tell them about the value
of the lead magnet and the problems
it's gonna solve for them
and the pain it's gonna alleviate for them.
So just as an example,
my lead magnet is a free live training
that I'm doing this week.
You can click the link in the description
and the pinned comment below.
On this live training,
we'll help you grow and make money on YouTube.
It's a step-by-step guide.
And I'm even giving away an AI that helps you
pick your niche and figure out
how to monetize your channel correctly as well.
So do not miss out on it.
Click that link in the description
and the pinned comment below.
You can also scan the QR code on the screen.
This is a one-time event,
and I look forward to seeing you there.
So there you go, right there.
That was me actually promoting my lead magnet, right?
So a lot of people mess up on this.
They literally don't even have a call to action.
It absolutely blows my mind.
They just like post their video
and there's no call to action.
So that's the first mistake
is you don't have a call to action.
What you also wanna do is have multiple ways to click.
So you'll notice that I have it in the description
and I have it at the top of the description above the fold.
This is very important.
Make sure that it's above the fold.
So I got a link there.
Then I also have a QR code.
And the third thing is I have it in the pinned comment.
Now, from order of the most effective to the least effective
and I've done a lot of math on this.
We've done a lot of tests.
Number one is description.
Number two, surprisingly, is the QR code
and almost nobody is using QR codes.
And then number three is the pinned comment.
So it goes something like this.
We get 60% of our clicks from the description.
We get about 30% of our clicks from the QR code.
I guess it's technically not a click
because they're scanning it, but you know what I mean.
And then we get about 10% of our clicks
from the pinned comment, somewhere around there.
It's probably more like 25% from the QR code
and 15% from the pinned comment.
So the first one is actually doing the CTA.
The second one is having multiple ways to click.
And then the third one is having multiple plus good CTAs.
So this one I could probably make an entire video on,
but basically you wanna have multiple CTAs.
Typically what we'll do is we'll have one
towards the beginning.
It's usually about three to five minutes into the video.
Sometimes we'll do it a little bit earlier.
That CTA is almost always going to be a soft CTA,
meaning I'm literally just giving them something for free.
And I usually don't dive too deep into it.
And oftentimes I'll do actually what's known
as a cutaway CTA, where it's not integrated
into the actual video.
It's a CTA that I recorded outside of the video,
either later on, sometimes outside, et cetera, et cetera.
So I'll kind of pop up on the screen
some examples for you of what that looks like.
All right, quick break.
I'm hanging out with my brother, Zach, right now.
All right, quick break, guys.
I'm hanging out with my brother, Zach.
What's happening, guys?
Quick break, quick break.
This video is sponsored by me.
So that's typically what I'll do
about three to five minutes into the video.
Then a little bit later on in the video,
I'll do a little bit harder of a CTA,
but it's still typically to promote a free thing.
Then a little bit later on in the video,
I'll typically do a soft CTA
that's actually integrated into the video.
And then at the very end, I'll usually do a hard CTA
that oftentimes is designed to get people
to actually book a call with us, right?
So the first three CTAs that I do,
usually those are soft and it's designed to get people
to actually just get the free thing that I'm offering them.
And then the last CTA, if I put it in there,
it'll typically be an actual direct call to action.
And I'm being very direct with them,
and I'll say something along these lines.
Hey, I know that 99% of people that watch my channel
are gonna consume all my free content,
get a lot of value out of it.
They might even attend my live trainings,
get a lot of value out of it,
but they're never actually gonna work with myself
or my team directly, and that's completely fine.
We wanna give away more value than we receive,
and also we're very limited in the amount of people
that we can work with.
With that being said, if you are a business owner
who wants to grow and make money on YouTube,
you wanna get more leads, you wanna grow your brand.
If you are a YouTuber who is crushing it
and you wanna crush it even harder.
If you're a YouTuber that's getting a lot of views,
you have a big audience,
but you're struggling with monetization,
or if you're somebody who really wants to treat YouTube
like a business from the beginning
and you're very serious about it,
you're like a professional
and you wanna treat YouTube like a business,
then go ahead and book a call with us
by clicking the link in the description
and the pinned comment below.
It'll be the second link down there.
Right, so I'll say something along those lines
that's more of a hard CTA.
That is being direct, and to be honest,
a lot of sophisticated buyers
actually appreciate the directness.
You know, a lot of people think that,
oh, your audience is gonna get mad at you
if you try to sell to them,
but if you have a more sophisticated audience,
they actually appreciate the directness.
Rather than trying to trick them
into them giving you their information
and then you slowly sell them over time,
they appreciate you just being direct with them
and you offering a product or service
that solves their problem.
You know, for instance,
that's how I make buying decisions myself.
I oftentimes make buying decisions very quickly.
The moment that I know that this is a product or service
that is gonna save me time
and solve my problems very quickly and efficiently,
then I usually just book a call
and I make the buying decision right there,
and this is typically how higher-ticket buyers operate
and more sophisticated audiences as well.
With that being said,
there's always a broader audience of people
that are not ready to buy right now.
So maybe they are sophisticated,
but they don't quite trust you enough,
or they haven't quite done enough research,
or maybe they're going on vacation with their family
and they're just not ready to buy right now,
or it's a particularly busy time in their business,
et cetera, et cetera.
So for those people,
oftentimes they'll sign up for your live trainings,
you'll get their contact information,
you give them some free value,
they have a really good experience with you,
and then later on, whenever they're ready,
they'll go ahead and buy from you.
Now, there are other things
that can get your click-through rate up.
One really big one is just what you're offering them.
If the thing that you're offering them
isn't attractive to them,
then not that many people are gonna click.
So you really wanna put a lot of thought
into what your lead magnet is, right?
So that's kind of the next thing is better lead magnets.
And for me, for instance,
what most people want is time with me, right?
And that's what I give them with these live trainings.
They literally get to see me live,
they get to ask me questions at the end,
and they get to literally spend time with me live.
So that's one of the best lead magnets
is just giving them time with you,
which is why I'm a big fan of live trainings,
also known as webinars, by the way.
But then another lead magnet that we really like, right?
So there's the live trainings, is AI-related.
So what we've been using a lot of lately are GPTs, okay?
So we absolutely love these lead magnets.
These are like three times more effective
than any other type of lead magnet that we've ever tried.
So we basically have GPTs
for almost every YouTube-related problem
that you can think of.
We give a few of them away for free.
We give the rest of them away only to our clients.
But this is something that people have absolutely loved,
both on the client side as well as on the lead magnet side.
And then, like I said,
there's some other things to do to get your clicks up,
but I'd have to make a whole video about it,
which I totally will at one point.
Let me know in the comments below if you want me to do that,
and I'll probably do it sooner than later.
With that being said, I have worked with many clients
where we actually go ahead and measure
how many clicks they have per 1,000 views,
and that's what we measure, by the way,
is the clicks per 1K views, right?
And so oftentimes, we will measure this,
and they're getting like one to three per 1,000 views, okay?
I've seen this many times.
This is bad.
You do not want this, okay?
What you wanna aim for
when it comes to clicks per 1,000 views
is anywhere between 10 to 30 per 1,000 views.
And also, if you're wondering,
well, hey, Shane, how do I actually track this?
Well, what we recommend
is you use what's known as UTM parameters.
The one that we like to use is short.io,
and then we store the data in Airtables, okay?
So we use short.io, and we store the data in Airtables,
and then what we really recommend that people use,
because we just think it's the absolute best, is HiROS.
So this is really our backup system,
the short.io and Airtables,
and our primary thing is HiROS.
So we really recommend using HiROS.
We love it.
So that is how you actually track the clicks.
With that being said, HiROS is a bit expensive.
Short.io and Airtables are more affordable,
and that's what we started off with as well.
Okay, so the next one we're gonna talk about
is actual opt-in rate, okay?
So actual leads.
So three, remember we talked about that, is leads.
So of the people who click, right?
So you got like 1,000 views, right?
Then you got 30 people to click,
because you're getting 30 clicks per 1,000 views.
So you got 30 clicks.
How many of those 30 people
are actually giving you their information
and becoming a lead?
Now, to be completely honest with you, it really depends,
right, it depends on what you're giving away
as your lead magnet, what your niche is,
and all kinds of different things like that.
With that being said, we try to aim for about 30%, okay?
So that would mean that out of 30 clicks,
you'd get about 10 leads-ish, like nine to 10 leads.
Now, to be fair, you could just skip
the lead generation process altogether
and just go straight to the sales call
or straight to the sale if you're selling
like a lower or a medium ticket product.
But generally speaking, this is the best way to do it.
Now from here, there are so many different things you can do.
So obviously, you got their email information.
You can email them.
A lot of the time, if you get their phone information,
you can text slash call them.
Of course, that's a little bit more advanced.
It also requires you to be compliant
and set up a bunch of different stuff.
So typically, email is the most common one,
but you can text and call people.
You can get them to show up to a webinar or a live training.
On the webinar, you give them value.
Then you pitch them at the end.
That's exactly what I'm gonna do.
If you show up to my live training,
I'm gonna give you a ton of value.
I'm gonna give you even a free tool,
and I'm gonna pitch you at the end.
You could send them to like a school group, right?
School group is another very popular funnel
that people are using now.
There are, of course, free school groups,
and there's paid ones.
We're talking about leads at this point,
so we're referring to free.
And then, of course, you can pitch them, right?
You can send them to a VSL
and then get them on like a call funnel, et cetera, et cetera.
There are a lot of things that you can do here.
With that being said, there are a few things
that we typically recommend to our clients, right?
If our clients don't already have
some sort of conversion mechanism set up,
they don't have a product set up,
what we typically recommend
is that they do a high ticket product.
This is gonna be anywhere from 1K absolute minimum
all the way up to 10K plus.
And we recommend that they actually do a call funnel.
So the easiest way for them to start off with this
is just using literally a Calendly link.
So just letting people sign up for a call with them
with a Calendly link.
This works surprisingly well, by the way.
You don't usually do this for very long.
You might do this for about 30 calls or so.
Then, once you've done about 30 calls with people,
you probably have a pretty good idea
of what they actually want.
At that point, you do a VSL or you can do a webinar, okay?
So these are the most effective funnels that we recommend.
This funnel is more for just market research.
You literally just have people sign up for a call with you,
you ask them questions,
and then you either pitch them on that call
or you pitch them later on.
So yeah, this one is extremely effective
just to do market research
and figure out what people want from you, right?
Do they want you to do coaching for them?
Do they want a course from you?
Do they want for you to just do the work for them?
And also, how much money are they willing to pay you,
et cetera, et cetera, right?
So you're getting paid to do market research
and you're probably gonna end up closing
something like five to 10% of these people as well.
And then, yeah, when it comes to the funnels,
the easiest and most effective funnels that we found
are the VSL call funnel.
So it goes from a VSL to booking a call
or a webinar to booking a call.
You can also, on the webinar,
you can actually straight up sell people,
but typically it's gonna be
a little bit lower of a price point.
So $4,000 would be the max price point
if you're selling directly from a webinar,
generally speaking.
All right, next, number four is going to be sales.
Sales or conversions, okay?
So again, there's some people that sell on the phone.
That's typically what we recommend
just because we see the absolute best results
from that for our clients.
It's just so much easier to sell higher ticket
and sell to fewer people
than to sell a massive amount of people
on a lower ticket product.
Okay, so let's do the numbers here as well.
So you got 1,000 views, you got 30 clicks,
you got 10 leads.
So the next thing is going to be actual sales.
So if you're targeting the right people,
you should be able to close at least one sale, right?
So this is assuming that you're having good targeting,
you're actually targeting the right people,
people that actually have money.
You should be able to close at least one sale
for about $5,000.
So that is about a 10% close rate.
So out of all the people that give you your information,
and this is after you follow up with them,
after they attend your webinar,
after they sign up for a call, et cetera, et cetera,
you should be able to close at least 10% of them.
Now, by the way, if they directly book a call with you,
your close rate should be significantly higher than that,
probably at least 20%.
But if they don't directly book a call with you,
if they're just signing up for something for free,
like a lead magnets, attending a webinar, et cetera,
you should be able to close
at least 10% of those people over time.
And that means a $5,000 sale.
So this is how, this is the math behind
how you can make $5,000 per 1,000 views.
Now, of course, there's always a little bit of leakage.
You've got refunds, you've got all that kind of thing.
And so, us for instance, on our second channel,
we make about $4,000 per 1,000 views
because 20% less kind of accounts
for all that kind of stuff.
But then, and this is the part that
only the absolute most elite people think about,
and that's number five, that is the LTV of a customer.
So this is what we're really starting to think of now
because we have certain types of customers
where we do get a bunch of cash upfront,
we're able to get them really good results,
but then we get them results
and then they never work with us again.
And so we're starting to really zoom in on the customers
where we can get the cash upfront,
we can get them great results,
and then they keep working with us into the future.
Because sure, it's great to have a customer
pay you 5K upfront, but then they never work with you again.
Well, that's not as good.
So 5K upfront, but then LTV or lifetime value
is still 5K.
Versus is it better to have a customer that pays you,
let's just say 3K upfront, but then their LTV is 30,000
because they just keep paying you again and again and again.
Maybe they pay you 3K per month
and then they stay with you for 10 months on average.
That means that the LTV would be $30,000.
So this is what big companies really understand
that normal and kind of like smaller companies don't.
Normal and smaller companies are really obsessed
with the 5K, right?
They just wanna get as much cash upfront as possible.
And don't get me wrong, when you first start,
that's probably what you should do.
But big companies pay a special attention
to which customers create the highest lifetime value.
So an extreme example of this is Starbucks.
Coffees are only about $5 or something.
Well, I guess that's kind of expensive for coffees,
but coffees are about five bucks.
But Starbucks has an absurdly high lifetime value
for their customers.
Different sources say different things,
but it's usually about a $14,000 LTV for Starbucks customers.
You buy one coffee and you end up spending $14,000
at Starbucks over your lifetime, which is pretty nuts.
So yeah, that's why companies really care about LTV
because sure, buying one coffee is no big deal,
but once you buy one coffee, for some reason,
people really just like Starbucks
and they end up spending $14,000 there over their lifetime.
And so this is what people really
should be paying attention to.
And of course, this is a little bit more advanced,
but they wanna pay attention
to the lifetime value of a customer.
And it's better to target the customers
that might only pay $3,000 upfront,
but they end up having a $30,000 lifetime value
than the customers that pay 5K upfront,
but they only have a $5,000 lifetime value.
This is one of the reasons
that we've started working more and more with business owners
because a lot of the times,
business owners just want us to either do the work for them
or do what's known as a build and release offer
where we kind of hire their team out,
train their team, and sort of release it to them,
but then they typically usually stay on with us
sort of in a consulting type role.
And then if they ever lose somebody,
we just hire for their team again.
And so that's why a lot of the time
we like to work with business owners.
So if you are a business owner
or if you're someone who's very business-minded,
you want to treat YouTube like a business,
you are the type of person
that would be perfect to work with us.
Go ahead and either attend the live training
by clicking the link in the description
in the pinned comment below,
the first link down there or scanning the QR code,
or if you want to just book a call directly with us,
you can click the second link in the description
in the pinned comment below
or scan this other QR code that we'll put up right here.
But only book a call if you're very serious
about growing and making money on YouTube.
We have a limited amount of people that we work with.
We can only work with a small amount of people at a time.
And we're very picky about who we work with.
We only accept about 18% of the people
who apply to work with us.
But we're basically the king makers here on YouTube.
We have countless amounts of testimonials
and case studies and examples
of people who we've helped get to six figures,
seven figures, even eight figures a year on YouTube.
Nobody else has gotten the results that we have.
And that is because we treat YouTube like a business, right?
We're not teaching you how to become an influencer.
We're teaching you how to treat YouTube like a business
and really systematize things.
If you want an example of someone
that we were able to help,
you can check out this video right here.
This was Sean.
We helped him go from $30,000 a month
all the way up to over $500,000 a month.
And you can check that out by clicking right here.
