Hello again everybody. Today I'm going to show you a tutorial for a pretty cool rubber band trick,
but first you're going to see performance from my sons Jake and Max who are out of school.
Are you ready Jake? Yeah. Okay, why don't you tell me what you're going to do?
So I'm going to make, I want to grab onto my two, to my two fingers with your hands.
Okay, like this? Max you're going to do that and what's going to happen? I'm going to make
this rubber band jump from these two fingers over to these two fingers. Okay, cool. On three.
One, two, three. Very cool. Okay, here's the tutorial. I really like this one because one
of the very first rubber band tricks I learned when I was eight years old was this one right
over here. Make a rubber band jump from these two fingers to these two fingers and all you do is
open your hand and the rubber band jumps and it's really simple. You take the rubber band,
you put these four fingers in just like this, you turn your hand over and you open your hand.
That fascinated me when I was eight years old and this one is pretty much the same concept,
but it's a little bit more difficult to figure out. So what you're going to do is you're going
to take the rubber band and you're going to put it over your index, your middle and your thumb.
You're going to pull it straight down. You're going to wear about three or four rubber bands
around your wrist. Put them on first and then what you're going to do is as you have it in
this position, you're now going to pull it around your ring and pinky and come straight around and
you're going to lock it in with your thumb. Now you can lower this down so it's around your wrist
and you want to make sure your thumb is below this band right over here so it's lower than
your index finger so that when the rubber band comes wrapping around, it doesn't wrap around
your thumb. So you don't want your thumb that high because when I let go, that's what happens.
So pull it straight down, wrap it around the base of your thumb, pull it around,
lock it in with your thumb and then keep your thumb down so it's below this crease right over
here. You can adjust it, pull this down and then you can have somebody hold on to these two fingers
and these two fingers. We could take a rubber band and just put it on there just to show that it's
not going to go anywhere and then all you're going to do what Jake did was he actually opened his
thumb up all the way. You don't need to do that. All you need to do is just release it ever so
slightly just like that on the count of three. One, two, three and then it shoots around these
two fingers. One more tip. When you take the rubber band and you put it around, you're going
to take it right here, wrap it around. You don't want to come too high up so that when you spread
your fingers it can be seen. So you want to pull it down a little bit then put your thumb there
and then adjust it. Adjust it around your wrist and now you can spread these fingers
and this is low enough so it can't be seen. Then all you have is expect you to hold on here,
hold on here and all you need to do is just release your thumb, not open it all the way
and the rubber band jumps. Let me know what you guys think. And now for the prize results and
