My house has no business being this messy,
but yet, here we are.
Today, I'm gonna clean up my entire Christmas
decorated home and try to get it back
looking like magic,
because right now, it looks like a tornado ran through it.
Loves, thank you so much for joining me
as I clean up my entire messy home.
I just wanted to chat with you all
because man, this month has been full of change for me
in a good way, but then again,
is there any such thing as good or bad?
Anyway, let's just get into it.
So y'all, I saw this post and I just wanted to share.
It says, if there is one thing
that can sort out emotions, it's a challenge.
We are conditioned to see challenges as threats,
and when our brains perceive a threat,
we instinctively trigger a neurophysical response
designed to protect us.
This response, often called the fight, flight,
or freeze response,
impacts everything from the way we think
to physical reactions in our body.
Pause when you see a challenge,
breathe and think about it,
then change your thoughts about it
and look at it as an opportunity to grow.
So I actually saw that when I needed it most
because there's been so many, quote unquote,
challenges these last couple of days.
So a family member of mine ended up sick,
and I was very sad about it
because who wants their family member to get sick?
