HOW TO PLAY HIGH ON TROMBONE with Swan Lake // Lesson and Play-Along // Includes Sheet Music!

What's up everyone? Welcome back to my channel and welcome to video number two in my play high series. If you want to play high on trombone, if you want to increase your high range and your high register, if you want your high notes to sound better, this video is for you. So today we're going to play high on trombone with the melody from Swan Lake. This is a famous ballet by Tchaikovsky. This theme has also been heard in movies like Black Swan and a lot of artists have played this song before. It's really famous. It's a great melody. So all we're going to do with this melody is we're going to start in the lower register and we're going to take it up one half step at a time. And the goal with this, the reason we do this to work on our high register playing is we want to make each half step as comfortable as the one before it. So when you're doing this really gradually, sometimes you don't even realize that you're extending into the higher register. I'm going to have the sheet music down below so you can follow along with the video. The sheet music and the audio track are also available over on my website so you can download them to any device.
