Well, so let's go over to something that has gone on
and maybe hopefully after the Knicks win
the championship here,
that maybe this settles down a little bit.
So Charles Oakley has his case thrown out by a judge
that he said he was assaulted in 2017
when they asked him to leave
and when they escorted him out of Madison Square Garden.
Do you think James Dolan and him
ever have and break bread again
and really settle this dispute?
Because how could you not have Oakley at an MSG game
when the fact that they've won an NBA championship,
does it ever get settled?
It should.
And I don't know who it's gotta be.
I really think it's gotta be Patrick Dewing
or someone to step in, but Oakley's had problems with Pat.
Let's be honest, folks.
This case has now been thrown out of court three times.
And now MSG's talking about suing not Oakley,
but Oakley's representatives and lawyers
because of what's been going on.
So to me, they just gotta end it.
It's important for them to end it.
We need to end it.
But to me, it's just one of those sad things
for a franchise that's now climbed its way back
and is NBA champion.
They need to end it.
I'm sick of seeing Charles Oakley in Cleveland.
I'm sick of seeing Charles Oakley in San Antonio
during the finals running and showing him.
I wanna see Charles Oakley at the Garden.
Charles Oakley needs to be at the Garden.
I don't want better.
Charles Oakley number needs to be retired by the next year.
That would really need to be happening.
But before that happens, Big Sales, you're right.
They gotta break bread and have a little kumbaya moment
for all us McCanns.
Absolutely, here.
The passing of Don Nelson, when he retired,
he was the winningest coach in NBA history.
I believe now he's second.
And I mean, his legacy,
second winningest coach in NBA history, Don Nelson.
I don't believe he ever won an NBA championship.
Maybe one of the things that, you know,
people will look to that resume a little bit.
But in your opinion, what does Don Nelson mean?
And what was his name when it came to the high ups
winning of all time coaches in NBA history?
Transformative offensively, good with Milwaukee,
really good, I mean, folks, I'm 49 years old.
So, you know, if you're young, if you're in your 30s,
go back and look at that run TMC team
of Tim Hardaway, Mitch Richmond, and Chris Moen.
Even when they got Chris Webber in the 93 draft.
That team was so ahead of its time offensively
with the three point shot, the spacing of the floor,
the attacking of the basket.
Don Nelson doesn't get enough credit
for what he did offensively for the game of basketball.
He did a lot.
A lot of people look at that short time he had
with the Knicks, it didn't work.
It ended up being for Jeff Van Gunney.
But I remember Don Nelson, particularly his time
with Golden State, that run TMC team.
Real quick, man, I mean, the NBA schedule came out.
There's some really good games on here,
and I don't know if it's gonna push the NFL at all
during the holiday months, but J-Y,
pretty good looking schedule for some teams,
especially a lot of Sixers.
Well, I'll tell you right now, Sixers, Knicks,
most team games on national TV.
Sixers, Knicks opening night, that's Cinnamon with LeBron.
Then obviously you have OKC and San Antonio,
but then Christmas Day, you got that matchup
in the middle between LeBron going back to LA
with the Sixers.
I'll tell you, Christmas Day is going to be
the greatest pro sports day ever.
