Ilhan Omar just strolled into a Minnesota polling place,
voted for herself, and then
smiled for the cameras like she had won
a timeshare in Cancun. Small detail, guys.
Days earlier, federal agents walked out of her Washington,
D.C. home carrying all sorts of boxes,
her phone, her computers, her notebooks,
her passport, basically everything except the
welcome mat. So what on earth
is Ilhan Omar smiling about? I mean, seriously,
if the feds took your phone,
you'd be stress-eating in the Walmart parking lot.
She's out here doing a photo shoot.
Oh, and it gets even better than that, guys. A Minnesota
grand jury is now mailing subpoenas to her family,
which is a fun way to ruin Thanksgiving. It really
is. The Department of Justice signed off on a warrant.
Homeland Security agents carried out
the boxes. Border Czar Tom Homan confirmed
the investigation weeks ago. Vice President J.D. Vance,
he says that a judge saw probable cause.
James Comer's House Oversight Committee,
they want to know how a refugee
who arrived with nothing is reportedly worth nearly $30 million
on some documents. Well,
apparently Congress pays better than we thought. And President Donald
Trump? Well, one sentence, guys.
Her whole life is a total scam. Short, efficient, devastating.
Her comeback? She called the president names online,
then locked the comments because
I will not be silenced apparently only applies to her,
and then posted this dreamy lake stroll
video with the caption, less scrolling, more strolling.
Less scrolling, ma'am. The feds have
your phone. You don't have a choice.
Meanwhile, bodyguards, a driver, campaign stops, a fresh
fundraising email, passport gone, donation link working perfectly.
And you're sitting there
asking, what half of America is asking?
Why isn't this woman in handcuffs yet?
Well, today you get the real answer.
The part that the cable news crowd keeps on skipping.
what happens to her seat, her paycheck,
even her citizenship, deportation on the way,
what that song in her video supposedly says,
and why the slow pace might actually be the worst
news of all for her. Now, real quick, folks,
on Medicare, are you turning 65 years old? Chapter
gives you completely free Medicare help.
Give them a call. Phone number's down below in the
description. 909-563-8279.
The average senior saving about $1,100 a year. That sounds pretty
important to me. Alright guys,
and I'm also told that the weekends have a shorter hold time. Now,
if you're new here, go ahead and hit subscribe.
It's free, takes a second, and unlike some people
in this story, nobody's subpoenaing you for it.
And if we earned it, hit the like button on the
way out. Totally appreciate it.
Alright, let's go ahead and freeze the frame. Ilhan Omar walking
through those Minnesota polling place doors,
lights on her face, big old bright smile. Now,
zoom in, pass the teeth, look at the eyes.
There are only two ways to read this. Option one,
she's terrified. That's the smile you flash at a cop
when your registration expired in 2019.
Tight, forced, held together with duct tape and a prayer.
Option number two, she's smug. She thinks
that the cameras are her shield.
As long as she looks happy, nothing can touch her. Here's the
thing, guys. Neither option's good.
Scared means that she knows something we don't. Smug means that
she thinks the rules are for you and not for her.
Either way, that's not a smile. This is a face
doing some
math. And
folks, the
numbers
ain't
adding up.
Now, rewind
just
a few weeks.
Remember
when Ilhan Omar basically vanished?
No fiery speeches, no cable hits, no house floor theatrics,
just silence, empty podiums, crickets.
Everybody was asking, where's Ilhan Omar? Well, be careful
what you wish for. She's back, guys.
She's posting, campaigning, glamming everywhere all at once,
except when a reporter actually gets close.
Now picture this, right? Cameras pushing in,
microphones up, Congresswoman, Congresswoman,
do you think that this is your last chance to
vote here, and she says, no, remind people to vote.
Then she turns, walks gone. Somebody shouts
a question about the search warrant. Nothing.
Not one word. Just the back of her head getting
smaller and smaller down the sidewalk.
We spent weeks asking where she went.
Now we'd like to return her. Anybody keep the receipt?
What's the return policy on an Ilhan
Omar? Anyway, real quick, guys,
you got a friend who swears nobody in Washington ever faces
consequences. Every Thanksgiving, same speech.
Go ahead and send them this video right now.
like just send it right now let them watch
and play it out in real time and then wait for the
okay maybe text October 12 Monday morning
Washington DC quiet street coffee brewing
somebody's sprinkler ticking away then
car doors thunk thunk thunk like just slamming the car doors
agents, Homeland Security investigators walking straight up
to Ilhan Omar's front door
like it's a normal Monday in America
and then well they didn't leave empty-handed box another box
another box phone computers notebooks passport
the Department of Justice approved it a federal
judge signed it let that sink in guys a a judge looked at the evidence
and said yep go ahead and
go get it these cardboard boxes out of the house
um to be authorized by a federal judge they really
had to have something especially this close
to an election as Brian was saying what is it normally
like 60 days 90 days out they don't they don't
do investigations on people that are running for
office. But this is part of a years long investigation
by Homeland Security. It's an
arm of ICE that's doing this.
And Brian, you have heard from your sources in Washington
that this has been going on.
They've been looking at this for a long time.
Talking to all three of us, they said that this is more of a RICO case.
They said, look for a
grand jury, this head to a grand jury.
And they say, just because you saw this raid, it doesn't
mean it was the only raid related to this and in pushing i said well
when it comes to fraud are you
talking only immigration yeah
and nothing to do with the Minneapolis fraud that we all know about
and from the Somali community in that area nothing
to do with that and then when i asked why DC and
not Minneapolis because well she lives there kids go
to school there that's her primary residence
that's where the paperwork
is and it revolves around immigration the search warrants had
specifics to go in there a judge signed off
on this this investigation was going on a long time
to come to this point it's this is and this is criminal there's
a criminal investigation it's
not a political investigation i mean
the the dead giveaway that it has something to do with
immigration is HSI is under ICE now team Omar calls
this a witch hunt weaponization politics
you've already heard Barack Obama defending
her right along with Hakeem Jeffries okay guys funny
thing about these witch hunts
though they don't usually show up with a warrant that's signed by
federal judge for a Democratic congresswoman
by a Democrat-appointed judge. A search warrant
is not a mean tweet. It's a judge's signature.
And you can't just lock the comments on that.
Now, picture a mailbox somewhere in Minnesota.
Official envelope. Big old seal on the front.
Surprise! It's a grand jury subpoena.
Now, picture that about a dozen times.
More than a dozen subpoenas reportedly went out
to Ilhan Omar's family circle.
Now, somewhere, a family group chat just went very, very quiet.
So, what's the grand jury after? Fox News reports it
censors on immigration paperwork that was filed back
when she was a kid. Old documents,
old names. And speaking of names,
is it Ilhan Omar or is it Omar or is it Ilhan,
Nuar, Saeed, Elmi? For years,
critics have alleged that she once married her own brother.
She denies it. Anybody else think that's a little gross?
But there is a clip that
critics love to replay she's asked about it
and then the answer that they keep quoting back is
not to my knowledge
not to her knowledge huh every time he talks about you he will casually
say something wild about you like he will tweet Ilhan
and Omar she married her brother blah blah
you think you see that you think yourself boy
that sounds odd i don't it seems unlikely that
she married her brother there are right-wing people
who believe that this man was your brother
right you have called it a disgusting lie right well you
who who was this man that was your
husband when did they start saying that he
was your brother why it started with the somali blog
um uh that i don't know if it still exists
but somebody put in there that you know that he had
to have been my brother or something to that effect
and um right-wing conspiracy theorists
in Minneapolis got a hold of it
and they just kind of went and like found
random people who were like
she introduced us
you know she introduced him to us
and said he was her brother
which is you know
insane I mean I don't
know those people that they
talk about. You were not related
to him at all. Not that
there's not some weird kernel of truth
that through some game of telephone. Not to my knowledge
that was the big gotcha right in terms of
what you're talking about promising like we're going to nail
her on the marriage. That was the source of the immigration fraud.
Folks, most of us know who we
married. We were there. There was cake.
There's some photos. Picture it, right? A Minnesota polling
booth, little curtain, little pen.
Ilhan Omar fills in the bubble next to her own name. Then
she actually slides the ballot into the machine.
Beep, done. Big old smile for the cameras on the
way out. Now, I already know you're probably thinking,
how is this even allowed? Well,
here's the honest answer she hasn't been charged
with anything not yet not so legally she can vote
she can campaign she can fundraise
and boy does she fundraise guys days after federal agents
carried boxes out of her house out goes
an email stand with ilhan urgent emotional donate now
because nothing says totally innocent quite like
a an emergency fundraiser the same week that the
Department of Justice raids your home.
Yeah, the house got searched. The inbox got a little busy.
Priorities. So then she logs on. Fingers are flying.
Fire in her eyes. She calls President
Donald Trump a pedophile protector.
She says that the DOJ is laundering right-wing conspiracy
theories. Then she types the big line.
I will not be silenced. Powerful, brave, inspiring.
Oh, and then she hits one more button. Comments off.
Oh, the reply box goes gray. Nobody gets
to answer. So let me get this straight.
She will not be silenced, but you will. Oh, and then she
goes after Vice President J.D. Vance, mocks him,
asks what his real name is. Ma'am, J.D. Vance's
name change is public record. He was adopted.
You can look it up in about four seconds. Your name?
That's what a federal grand jury in Minnesota is looking into.
Glass houses, rocks, you know the
rest.
So now, go ahead
and flip
the camera.
Look at the
other side.
Ilhan Omar
is online.
Name-calling, comment-locking, fundraising.
Look, you gotta now look at the Trump administration.
calm, cool, coffee in hand.
President Trump already said that her whole life is a scam.
Oh, and then he called her a disaster.
When reporters asked if he ordered the raid,
he basically shrugged, you know, this is up to the DOJ.
Then Vice President J.D. Vance steps up,
very lawyer-like. He points out that a judge had
to find probable cause, evidence of a crime.
And then the kicker. If there's a real crime, they'll follow the facts.
And then borders are
Tom Homan, he told the country back
in September she was under investigation,
weeks before anybody showed up with boxes.
like. And because of that, I think the president
and I largely try to stay out of Department
of Justice investigations and other prosecutions.
Now, I do know that there are some serious
allegations against Ilhan Omar.
We're going to look into those. And again, if there's
a real case there, we're going to follow the facts.
If there's not a real case there,
then we won't. So one side's throwing a tantrum.
The other side's just waiting.
Guess which one looks nervous? So then comes the video.
Golden hour, a Minnesota lake,
water sparkling, soft music playing,
Ilhan Omar and her husband strolling hand in hand.
Not a care in the world. Caption, less scrolling, more strolling.
Aww, so natural, so candid.
Totally candid. Except somebody had to be standing
in front of them, walking backwards,
holding a camera, nailing the lighting.
Oh yeah, this was a candid photo. This was a candid video.
Nothing says
Spontaneous Sunday
quite like a film crew.
Oh, and then of course there's the song playing behind it,
because of course most
people in their lives have random song-appropriate
background music going on, right?
Viral translations online claim that the lyrics are violent,
crushing enemies, putting them
in graves, and the singer shows up
in clips wearing full military fatigues.
Those translations haven't been officially verified,
but think about this. Either she
knew what that song said
or nobody in her office bothered to check. Pick which one is
worse.
So back to that polling place. Look a little closer.
Security on her left, security on
her right, a driver holding the car door open, full motorcade energy.
So here's what I want to know. Who's paying for that?
Because the story we're told goes
something like this. She came here from Somalia with nothing,
a refugee, empty pockets, and
And now President Donald Trump says
that she's reportedly worth $44 million dollars, 44 million.
Now most of us can't even afford a gym membership
and a Netflix subscription in the same month.
This is why James Comer's House Oversight Committee
is digging through how her family's
money jumped that much.
Maybe she's just really, really good with coupons.
Or maybe somebody's going to need
to explain the math out loud under oath.
Fox News alert. Ilhan Omar under investigation after
racking up millions while she was in Congress.
Senior national correspondent Kevin Cork has it. What's up, Kevin?
Good to see you, my friend. What's the old saying? Follow the money?
Well, that's precisely what the House Oversight Committee is doing.
They are probing squad member Ilhan
Omar skyrocketing family wealth, Jesse,
especially in the wake of that $9 billion,
some would argue $19 billion,
Somali social services fraud scandal
that exploded in her district in Minnesota.
The oversight chair, James Comer,
says his team's lawyers are exploring the extraordinary step
of subpoenaing Omar's spouse over his curious business practices.
Republicans want to know how the Somali-born Omar
and her politically connected husband, Tim Mineatte,
went from being nearly broke
to be going worth around $30 million in just a year,
according to her 2024 disclosure forms.
Quoting Comer now, there are a lot of questions as to how her husband
accumulated so much wealth over the past two years.
It's not possible. It's not. And he's a money guy.
Minette and his partner, Will Haler, back in 2022,
formed an investment firm, Jesse, named Rose Lake Capital.
They had 42 bucks in their bank account at the time,
but in a year, up to 25 million bucks, according to Omar's filing.
By the way, he also has a wine business that went
from next to nothing to millions on its books.
Not surprisingly, associates were so perplexed about
the irregularities, they brought information
and attention to the feds to, you know, look into it.
Now, for her part, the congresswoman has repeatedly
and they defiantly denied any wrongdoing while being
also careful to criticize the ongoing probe.
But, you know, sometimes I say, Jesse,
the ones who yell the loudest have the most to hide.
Well, innocent until proven guilty.
I'm sure everything was perfectly legal.
We're just checking to find out. Kevin, good to see you.
All right, guys, picture a hallway, three doors,
door number one, her seat, getting charged,
doesn't kick her out of Congress.
To expel a member of the House of Representatives needs
a two-thirds vote. Two-thirds of Congress agreeing
on anything, good luck with that.
These people can't even agree on lunch.
All right, so we got door number two, her paycheck.
Here's the part that's probably going
to make your blood boil and piss you off.
Even if she gets indicted, that paycheck keeps on coming.
Your tax dollars going directly deposited
into her checking account.
All right, door number three, guys, her citizenship, take it away,
denaturalization. The government needs
a whole separate case in federal court. They have to prove
fraud, not a tweet, not a hunch. They actually need proof.
So no, nothing happens with a snap
of a finger, but behind every one of these doors is a federal judge
and judges. They don't care
how big your smile is. All right, guys.
So the big one, why isn't she in handcuffs? Anybody else
wondering that? Or is it just me?
Let's be honest, guys. If you or I did this, we would
already be in a cell. We wouldn't be out here taking pictures
and doing these little selfie
videos and whatnot.
We'd probably be sharing a bunk bed with some guy named Tiny. I know.
I feel it too, guys. But here's how it actually works.
First, the search. Then agents dig through
every phone and computer and notebook.
Then the subpoenas. And then a Minnesota grand jury hears
the evidence. Only then can an indictment actually come
and it's sealed. Nothing's been charged.
Nobody can promise you a date.
But here's the thing, though. Rush a case against a sitting
congresswoman and her lawyers just rip it apart.
So we don't want that to happen. But if you build
it slow, it sticks. Slow is not soft.
Slow is airtight. So what's next? Tick tock. Election
day is next week. Picture this, right?
She wins reelection on Tuesday with a federal grand jury
still meeting. Awkward victory party, huh?
And this doesn't stop at one person. The subpoena
has already reached her family.
The House Oversight Committee is still following the money.
Look, I know you're tired. You've heard accountability
is coming a hundred times at
least. Usually it never shows up.
But this time I think it's different. A judge signed a warrant.
Agents carried out boxes. A grand jury is meeting.
This is not talk, guys. This is paperwork. The
smile was for the cameras. The evidence was for the judge.
Now, folks, we're going to be watching
every step of this. When that grand jury moves,
you're going to hear it here.
Now, if this was worth your time,
hit the like button on the way out. One tap costs you nothing.
And unlike some Congresswoman,
you won't need to lock the comments afterward. And if you're not
subscribed yet, go ahead and fix that, folks.
There is considerably more coming and things
are moving fast. You're going to want a front row seat
to the next box that comes out that door.
