So did y'all see the bullshit that youtube dropped on the new creators yesterday? Oh, man
that's why i've been telling y'all for the longest to go ahead and start that youtube channel because
now
They're trying to make it twice as hard for new people. So if you already monetize you're good
But for new creators and then myself too because I have another channel that i'm working on
Now you're gonna have to work twice as hard in a minute to get monetized because they own some bullshit
So you still need your same thousand subscribers. That's the easy part. Honestly shorts can handle that but now
They want you to have
8 000
watch time hours
Versus the 4 000 that it was already hard to get before
Oh, man, that's crazy
And if you just a shorts creator, um that has also doubled so it went from like you needing like
10 million or to 20 million or something like
And you their their watch their hours and their views has doubled but the subscriber count stayed the same
So that means you have to work twice as hard
but
You still got a little chance because these new rules and policies don't drop until
February of 2027. So you really got like six months. So if you start your channel now
You can still um use the old rules with the 4 000 watch hours
And get monetized
So i've been saying this for the longest
There's no time like the present time to start your youtube channel
Because if you start now and you work hard you'll be monetized by the time february coming
You won't even have to worry about that 8 000 hours unless you're trying to work on another channel
so
with that being said
Stop playing around and go ahead and start their youtube channel now
put in
Double time overtime work so you could be monetized before then and you won't even have to worry about it
Because we all know what what double double work means
It's it's gonna be so much harder
But I guess that's a good thing because it'll filter out
Some of the bullcrap or maybe some of the people who not really serious about the content creation
but
I know seeing 8 000 hours like looking at that goal is gonna discourage a lot of people
so
Go ahead and start now and just work hard hard hard
And you'll be able to get that 4 000 watch hours before february
And them thousand subscribers you can do it
We're not gonna let youtube
hold us back
Now I gotta go work double time on my second channel that I just started working on
So I can get that monetized before february. So I wonder
What else they got in their little?
Clause or little policies, you know, you gotta read through it
I don't want to read through let me go find an AR summary or something, but
Let me see what else they try to creep off in there besides these new monetization rules
Let me know what y'all think about those 8 000 watch hours, do you think
Like that's gonna make a lot of people run away from trying to create on youtube. I still think the pay is good like
I still think it's I still think it's worth it
And that's just uh, you you gotta you gotta put in the work anyway on any of these sites
Some people just want it to be super easy or they think content creators got it super easy, but we really do work hard
like
Just editing alone can take hours and that ain't even
The hours of filming that we do so
It's hard work. You just gotta um be consistent
Be serious about it. Like you have to want to create content and
You just gotta do it and not overthink it
those perfect perfect videos never the ones that go viral anyway, so
Just do it be yourself
and
Drop your channels in the um
In the comments below so I can go. Um,
Subscribe to y'all and get y'all a little little few watch time, uh minutes up on y'all pages
So let me know what y'all got going on
