So here they come, champions versus FA Cup winners as it's always been and the two favourites for the Premier League title this season head-to-head with the new top-flight campaign less than a week away. There's a first touch out there for the new signing Krzysztof Solis who picks out Donny Madaweka. Now here's Ben White and Myles Lewis. Skelly threads a lovely ball through and they're inside 30 seconds. What a start for Arsenal. Absolutely remarkable. Now Docu's got in the other side of Ben White. There's only really Haaland up there with him but Docu's managed to keep going here and that's great defending from Gabriel. Super timing and didn't he enjoy it? Good challenge. Erdegaard. It's a good run by Solis and Havertz is there. He can't keep it up. Now Arsenal get a second goal and Kai Havertz who scored in the Champions League final has now scored in the Community Shield 2-0. Brilliant Solis. Kusunos switches off. Brilliant from the new signing, it really is. Lovely header across and it's a wonderful finish. Off goes Jeremy Docu, finding Haaland, takes the touch, hits the shot. Not as clinical as he often is but that's the kind of service that Haaland thrives on. There's Anderson. Docu's got time to bring this one down and then Haaland, that's a good save and O'Reilly couldn't get there because Lewis Scully was strong. Wasn't he just? Brilliant move. I mean I don't know where to begin with the left back because he's anything but but he's run superb. Kai Havertz, Solis queuing up in the middle. Havertz has carried on running and delivers the cross. Might fall for Odegaard here and it's off the line by Guardiola. Just didn't fall for Odegaard but I tell you what, how impressive they've been. Anderson gets it towards Clarity Albert. They've lost it Manchester City. Here's Solis and he can have a go at Kusinov and thread one through and Odegaard took it brilliantly. Oh what a goal. Completely takes Rico Lewis out of the game and they walk it away to Saka who if I'm going to be brutally honest I'm not happy with him having a shot from there but anyway drills it in and it was there for Saka and he just couldn't keep the finish down. What a chance. He just doesn't want to get as much on it and keep it going the way it's going. Great effort though. It's the final 10 minutes here in Cardiff, Turkey looking to glide through. That was a powerful shot from Semenyo but that's probably the best bit of attacking football we've seen in the half. The referee's given the decision Arsenal's way and there's the full-time whistle. It's comprehensive today for Mikel Arteta and for Arsenal and it's a setback in the community shield for Enzo Maresco.
