A vlogger documents her trip to Lagos, Nigeria, centered around attending her first Nigerian wedding. The video captures her preparations, the festive wedding celebrations featuring a blend of Nigerian and Indian cultures, and the frustration of a flight cancellation that delays her return to her children in Ghana.
We're going to get dirty today.
Ghana is not the top last

Hey guys, what's up?
Today is day 3 in Lagos.
And today is finally, you know, the wedding day.
I just woke up.
Habi has already left the hotel.
Because he and Lewis are part of the groomsmen
So they have to go to, I mean, where they'll be getting ready and all that.
So they left a while ago.
I just woke up, it's about 7 something now.
So I'll quickly take my bath.
Go have breakfast with Ama and Nene
And from there, we will start getting ready.
Because the makeup artist is already in
And I also want to create some content
The earlier, the better
So I'll quickly take my bath.
And go grab breakfast
Then we start getting ready
We start the glam
So yeah, that's how the day is looking.
Yesterday was a good day.
We went shopping.
And in the evening we had dinner.
Yesterday was carrier day for my girls.
I missed it.
But then you know I spoke to them in the morning.
As I kept talking to them throughout the day
Before they left for school
When they got back from school
And before they went to bed
Yeah, they sent me photos and videos.
It was Serena's first carrier day.
So she was a chef.
And it was Siburn's second carrier day.
She was a doctor.
So for her first one, she was a rockstar.
She took hold of a microphone.
Like the standard microphone
She wore a cute outfit with her boots.
This time around, she was a doctor.
So she was just, you know, in the scrubs
And she has this
What's that thing called?
Like a suitcase
But like a doctor
So it has all her things in there.
And she looked so cute.
She looked so darn cute.
Serena also looked so cute with her
Her chef's hat and her apron
Oh God
I miss my babies
I miss my babies so much
But yeah
That's how today looks like
And I know it's going to be
A packed day for a fan
So we go to church.
I think the church service starts at 12.
So we go to church for the actual wedding ceremony.
Then from there we do the reception.
And after the party
So yeah, it's actually my first.
First, first, first Nigerian wedding
So I came prepared
I came here to have fun.
And I came to celebrate with you, you know
People I truly like
And I'm so happy for the two of them
So, so, so, so happy for the two of them
I can't wait to see
How my bride looks today
I mean, she's already quite pretty.
And I can't wait to see you, you know.
Every day come together
So yeah, that's how today looks like.
Enough of the yapping
Let me go and take my bath
And get on with my day
So I'll see you guys soon
Don't want to leave it up to fate
I have the key ready.
To go with you and drive
Take all my worries
And my fears away
On this ride
It's time
We decide
Do it.
Plain
As day
We're running
Out of space
Space
Running out of places
To run to
But I know that I want you
So can I get a lifetime?
With you
I just want a lifetime with you
Can I get a lifetime
With you
I just want a lifetime with you
Can I get a lifetime
Yeah, got none of the chop last time.
It's my first Nigerian wedding.
And a girl has to step clean as always
So let's quickly go through what I'm wearing
For the event
I'm wearing this gorgeous olive green gown.
Made by, made by me
Couture GH
I love it so much
I love how it grabs my waist
Love the silhouette
Love everything about this outfit.
Love the embellishment over here
And yeah, got none of the chop last time
Love it so much
And my heels
My heels are from Tag
I'm wearing their Mokwa in gold.
For accessories, I'm going with this gold clutch.
Because I have, you know, gold embellishments
Coming over here
And I'm going with this simple stack of
Gold bracelets
And what else? Yeah, scent of the day
For the scent of the day, I'm going with these two perfumes.
This is Reef 31
And this is Sea Intense by Giorgio Armani
So these are
My scent of the day
And yeah
Alright, guys, so I guess I'm all set.
And ready for my first ever Nigerian wedding
How would you guys rate my outfit?
For the wedding?
Let me know in the comment section
Let me know how much you love this look
And I'll see you guys
Bye
Guys, I'm all set now; we're actually late.
Because the church started
Well, according to the invitation, church starts at 12.
It's 12:46.
I'm just going down to Ahmed's room.
And then join the rest of the ladies
Because we all had to do our makeup
It was just one person doing makeup for all four of us.
And yeah, love my look
But I have to rush out now
So catch you guys
At my first ever Nigerian wedding
We're going to get dirty today
This is how you make my world a better place
Thank you for the fire
I love the sun.
I love the Holy Spirit
Amen
Take this with you
In the name of the Father
And the Son
And the Holy Spirit
Amen
Don't pose
So fair with it
You can let them stare at it.
Now I'm ready.
To say the love out loud
Since we ain't going nowhere
So tonight
They can leave me
Timing's right
We should have this in heavy
Are we ordering now?
Yes
I need a dish
At your service
Welcome
If you've noticed
There's a money box on the dance floor.
Right about now
It will come to the dance floor whenever we need it.
To dance
Or any kind of spring
The money box will come to the dance floor
So please
I implore each and every one of us
Let us pray into the money box.
Let us respect the country's
Rules and laws
And regulations
It is very important.
Come on
Let's go
Come on
Your king, so please pick up the microphone, so the Malayali can see my love.
baby
my darling, my pilot, my everything, my zero zero one
the only captain that I
ah
Okay, what do we call our movies in Nigeria? Nollywood, if India is called Bollywood.
So now we're going to do a mixture; we're going to do a mixture of
Mollywood and Bollywood right now, so I'll give you a simple movie scene and you're going to
Narrate, and you're going to act it out for us— are you ready? So please come this way, Sarin, come.
That's how it's going to be. That's what's going to happen. So you're going to be
Right, and then you're just enjoying the cool breeze, and then you turn around and see him.
and then when you see him, you shout
Are you with me? Good. And then when she says that, you won't say what?
Are you ready? Don't worry, it's a mixture of Nigerian and Indian movies. I'm the director.
Are you together? You know what you have to do, then you know what you have to do, right?
and then after you say, then what's going to happen is the DJ won't play a very nice Indian song
And then you'll dance like this for her—don't tell me you don't have Indians to dance, I think you do dance.
And then you dance the Indian way and come to me
Are we good together? So we're going to do Test One, okay? Let's do the main thing. I believe in you.
You've followed all the instructions correctly, so you turn around and see him.
And then the DJ will play the music and you'll dance with each other, all right, DJ?
Ladies and gentlemen, we are about to see a very... what's your Indian name?
Priyanka, what's your movie's Indian name? What name should we give him?
Raj, so Priyanka will now see Raj—that's what's going to happen. So, Priyanka, please can you just
Turn around so you can see him right now, okay? So ladies and gentlemen, we are about to see the
Love story between Priyanka and Raj: one two three go
All right, we'll start again. We'll start again because I didn't say action.
That's what confused you all, right? See, seriousness— not to be serious. Are we ready?
And when you say "naahi," you have to point like this, all right? Three, two, one, action.
Oh, don't steal my movie from me. Do you know how much I paid you?
All right, we're going to do it again. Turn around, turn around. All right, Priyanka, let's go. One, two, go.
All right, so your response
Good, all right, let's go.
This movie was proudly directed by the event ace me, and we have DJ skills on the
movie soundtrack Priyanka and Raj, we are ready, so three, two, one, action
All right.
As you can see
foreign
Oh yeah
It's okay, leave it there to go. You'll see her in how many hours.
So, what day is it today? Today is day five. Today is day five in Lagos.
We were actually supposed to leave this evening. Our flight was scheduled for 7 p.m. this evening.
Me, Javi, and Louis because we came on Airpeace, and then Amma and Ivy left this morning with us
And Nanyi is returning to Abuja. They left earlier this morning.
However, Airpeace has decided that we need an additional day for our stay in Lagos.
So, our flight has been cancelled. We received the email last night informing us that they have re-accommodated us.
or something along those lines. And so, our flight, which was scheduled for 7 p.m. today, has been cancelled.
And so, we'd have to leave at 7 a.m. tomorrow. That's completely unacceptable because I've missed my girls so much.
And I was looking forward to actually seeing them today because I kept telling Sissy I was coming today.
She will see me very soon. I kept telling her that you will see me very soon.
And so, I was looking forward to seeing her so much today.
But Airpeace says I deserve another day in Lagos. And to be honest, I don't even know what I'm doing.
I don't know what I'm doing today because we didn't plan. It wasn't part of our plans.
The plan was to leave this evening, so I don't have anything to do today.
However, we checked out from our previous hotel because we were on the island.
So, we've now come to the mainland just so that going to the airport would be easier.
So, we are in Ikeja now. We used to be on Victoria Island but now we've come to Ikeja.
We've checked into a different hotel now so that commuting to the airport tomorrow will be easier.
Because I think the airport is actually in Ikeja.
So, yeah. That's what's going on.
I'm at their border. I'm certain they will be landing in Ghana very soon.
But I now understand why people are always criticizing Airpeace.
Like, why? Why? Why?
I miss my girls so much. I miss them. Oh God.
I miss them so much. Look at them. Look at my cuties.
Aww. I miss them. I miss them so much.
I miss them.
If we were actually leaving this evening, they would have already returned from school.
They would have been home when we arrived.
So, we would have gone to meet them at home, and it would have been so nice to see their reaction.
Anyway, tomorrow we're arriving at around 7 a.m. Ghana time.
Hopefully, everything goes as planned.
They don't come and tell us they've canceled the flight or postponed it to a later time.
If we arrive at 7 a.m., I mean by the time we get home, they would have already left for school.
So, what I would do is I'd rather do the school pickup and get them from school.
I know they would be happy.
But I really wanted to go home today. I miss them so much.
As I said, I've never left them for this long before.
But yeah, that's what's happening right now.
Lewis and Habi have left today.
They are going to make some bank visits.
The two of them used to live in Nigeria.
So, those people are very accustomed to the system here.
So yeah, they're going to do some bank shots.
I just decided to stay in because, I mean, my brain...
It's quite cold today because it rained early this morning.
So, it's a bit cold.
Yeah, I just decided to stay inside.
Just chill and relax.
I'm tired as well from the wedding.
And last night, we went out with the bride and the groom.
It's been a lovely stay in Lagos, to be fair.
It's been so nice.
But I can't wait to get back to my babies.
I can't wait to get back to my babies.
So yeah, hopefully, Airpeace doesn't decide I need another day in Lagos tomorrow.
Fingers crossed.
Thank you for watching!
