banyak perkembangan yang ingin saya berikan kepada kalian Tapi sebelum itu, saya akan makan sarapan dulu Saya membeli ini seperti roti dari Tesco Brioche Chocolate Chip Sepertinya enak Dan saya hanya memanaskannya selama 30 detik untuk sarapan saya Sangat mudah, sangat sederhana Dan saya memiliki kopi saya Jadi saya akan melakukannya dulu Terus nanti, kayaknya aku mau lari Aku tidak yakin berapa jauh Karena aku belum lari juga minggu ini Tapi seperti yang kalian lihat, rumahnya juga sedikit berbeda Kita ada tambah beberapa penutup di dapur Karena tadinya juga cuman dinding kosong aja Ini respect ke Bapak Chun Yang Karena dia kemarin yang jadi mode tukang, dia yang ngedrill temboknya Terus dia potong kayunya Bahkan karena kita beli kayunya itu tadinya kepanjangan Jadi perlu dipotong manual pakai gergaji atau pakai apapun itu Aku gak ngerti Tapi ya, aku sangat menyukainya Ini sedikit lebih mudah warna dari yang ini Jadi kita kemarin ada kayak Harusnya aku beli warna yang lebih gelap Tapi kita juga belum ketemu sih warna yang lebih gelapnya dimana Tapi buat sekarang, kita simpan saja Ini hiasannya juga masih ada beberapa yang untuk diupdate Kita kemarin ada beli beberapa barang tapi masih belum deliberate Tapi ya, aku sangat menyukainya Aku pikir ini kelihatan bagus Mari kita makan sarapan sebentar Sambil sarapan, sambil nonton Dates Abroad Ini temen aku disini, di Edinburgh Kemarin mereka ke London sama Ica Boleh di subscribe dan ditonton juga Dia lebih aktif kayaknya Sharing-sharing tentang Edinburgh Dibanding aku, jadi kalau tertarik sama Sharing kota-kota Edinburgh London lifestyle Boleh di subscribe juga Oke, aku akan pergi berlari sekarang Mungkin 5km, mungkin 10km Siapa tahu, nanti aku biasanya larinya Sesuai mood aja pas udah lari Kira-kira bisa sejauh apa Tapi mari kita rehat sebentar Aku lari 7km Yang mana tidak terlalu buruk Di antara 5km dan 10km Aku juga berlari 2km Jadi aku tidak akan terlalu berhati-hati Itu larinya bagus Tadi aku sempat ada rest sedikit setelah 5km Karena capek Tapi kemudian aku terus lari 2km Sekalian ke arah rumah Jadi itu bagus Nanti aku mau mandi Perlu masak, untuk makan siang Aku akan makan salmon dan mungkin sarapan Kita lihat Oke Aku baru selesai mandi Terus tadi beberes rumah, cuci baju Benerin Benerin, beresin semua Dishes, bikin salmon Buat lunch, tapi masih nunggu Buat jadi air fryer So I thought I'll give you guys the big update Which is, I got a new job It's still very weird saying it I got a new 9 to 5 job Buat yang Baru pertama kali nonton video aku Dan belum ngikutin sebelumnya A little background Aku itu udah kerja selama kurang lebih 5 tahun Korporat di Jakarta Sebelum aku pindah ke Edinburgh Terus pas pindah ke Edinburgh aku juga sempat kerja korporat Selama kurang lebih 10 bulan But I figured that I was very burnt out I think I didn't realize it at that time But now looking back, aku ngerasa aku itu burnt out banget Dan burnt outnya It's because of a few reasons Aku ngerasa pas aku di Jakarta itu Aku burnt out karena Justru commute ke kerjanya I used to spend to commute 4 hours a day when I was back in Jakarta Karena macet Aku tinggalnya di Tangerang Selatan Dan aku kerja di SCBD, di pusat kota Jakarta So yeah It took me like 20 hours to commute Every week And it was very tiring In a sense aku ngerasa aku belum punya hidup Karena sebelum kerja aku commute Setelah kerja aku commute Aku capek, tidur, besokannya lanjut kerja lagi And that's all I do everyday Dan aku juga ngerasa pas aku di Jakarta Weekend, I don't really have much things to do As you guys know Aku juga anaknya suka banget sama alam Tapi di Jakarta itu susah buat aku cari Weekend getaway So I feel like at that time My role in the corporate world Is fine, I enjoy it But it was just more That I feel like My job can't really support my lifestyle Because of a few reasons Which is commute Dan tinggal di Jakarta And it's a combination of all that But then I moved to Edinburgh I got a job Dan di sini work-life balance-nya dapet banget Di sini tuh yang kayak jam 5 teng aku udah pulang ke rumah And I can still do stuff with my husband With my friends Tapi aku kebetulan dapet company yang Sedikit toxic I don't really like the role that I'm doing Aku juga kerja di marketing And I didn't really believe In the products that I was selling at that time Ditambah dengan culture company-nya Yang tidak mendukung Dan tidak supportive Jadi selama 10 bulan itu I kept dragging myself to work every single day Sampai akhirnya aku memutuskan Buat resign setelah kurang lebih 10 bulan And you guys might have also Known that in the past 10 months, aku took a break From the corporate world I work at a climbing gym Which is something that I have never expected Setelah pindah ke sini I love climbing So it was a really good part-time job I was very thankful It's crazy how even to get A part-time job di Edinburgh Susah banget untuk kerja di cafe dan lain-lain Especially if you don't have any retail Or any hospitality experience You might have think, oh yaudah kerja di cafe aja Part-time, gampang dapet ya No, it's not that easy It's very competitive Bahkan waktu aku mulai di climbing gym itu aja Aku tau there are so many people Who apply for the role It's just a very basic front of house role But then even at that time It was very competitive I feel like I got lucky and blessed Karena aku kenal sama salah satu staffnya Waktu itu, and I asked for a referral So I feel like that helped a lot Cause I don't have that many retail experience I don't have any coaching experience Karena part of the job adalah juga pro-coaching So ya, I'm really grateful That I get to experience that But then, I quickly realized that I miss the stability of working at a corporate job That pays enough money To support my lifestyle Waktu aku awal-awal mulai kerja di climbing gym itu Selama tiga bulan I just took a break, I didn't even try to apply For any corporate job I was considering to just do That part-time and then working on my content But then also I quickly realized That I don't want to make content As my main hustle I really respect people who do that But it's a lot of work And I just don't like the uncertainty The pressure around it Jadi aku merasa konten itu buat aku Aku pengennya keep sebagai hobi aku aja Aku nggak mau push too hard on my content Sampai aku merasa, oh I need to make money out of it If that makes sense But ya, after around three months Working at a climbing gym Aku udah mulai-mulai cari kerja And you guys also know I've got so many rejections I applied to so many different jobs In the UK So many interviews Not that many interviews actually Rasio dari aku apply kayaknya I think I've applied to maybe almost a hundred jobs Interviewnya, maybe I had around Like five or six interviews Ada beberapa yang udah sampe final round Udah pass the second round of interview But I just never Got the final offer letter It's so hard, it's so competitive as well Dan aku ngerasa Zivy aku juga kan most of the Five years of my experience itu back in Indonesia Beberapa rekruter disini itu Nggak begitu ngeliat experience aku di Indonesia So I was trying so hard to even get to All these entry level role But then again, it's so competitive Aku juga carinya emang mungkin 90% di Edinburgh And Edinburgh The opportunity is just not that many Compared to London So it was quite a Interesting 10 months I wouldn't say I was so stressed But I was stressed to a certain degree Yang aku kayak Am I even gonna make it in the UK? Am I gonna be able to continue my corporate career? But yeah I am just excited to share That now I have got A new 9 to 5 job Mungkin role-nya aku nggak mau expose dulu disini Role-nya itu apa But maybe I will Eventually tell you guys It's crazy to think Hari ini aku Aku masih belum mulai kerjaannya Aku bakal mulai in 4 days, next week hari Senin I mean by the time this video is uploaded I've probably already started My new job So that's the big news, that's the big update I am excited but at the same time I am very nervous Role-nya anaknya adalah remote So I get to work from home I would just have to go down to London Occasionally, maybe every month Karena emang company-nya itu based di London So yeah, I'm excited Again, mungkin tadi juga Salah satu faktor burnout-nya adalah Commute, I don't really like to commute In Edinburgh itself, commutenya mungkin 30 menit Masih oke, but the fact that this Job is a fully remote job I would just appreciate that So much more So yeah, wish me luck I'm excited and nervous I've mentioned that, I've already had all The imposter syndrome kicking in Even though I haven't even started my job Hopefully it's a good one Hopefully it sustains my lifestyle And hopefully I also feel like I miss working in a company Where I feel like I can thrive Karena kalau aku burnout itu ngaruh banget ke Kerjaan yang aku kerjain I just feel like I can't give my best Kalau aku sendiri nggak ngerasa Termotivasi dari diri aku sendiri So hopefully this job is something that Will be good for me I am interested in the role itself It sounds like something that Can be challenging but at the same time Satisfying I'll keep you guys updated So thanks for following along Salmonnya udah jadi I'm just gonna quickly eat my lunch And I'm not sure yet what I'm gonna do for the rest of the day I'm gonna edit my vlog I've been slacking on my vlogs Cause it's been busy and a lot of things have been happening But I have a small Costco vlog that I'm gonna edit And then maybe I might go to A French show later on Again Aku tadi ngomong telat Baris-baris rumah, kelari Sekarang baru selesai bikin masak Sembil ngevlog Oke, aku barusan selesai edit video Akhirnya beres juga Tadi juga sempetin masak dikit Meal prep buat Cuniang dinner Dan buat besok juga Tapi sekarang aku mau pergi ke city center Buat nonton acara French French itu one of the biggest festival Di Edinburgh setiap bulan Agustus There are thousands of different shows Kemarin aku udah nonton beberapa Dan ada beberapa yang bagus Tapi ada juga, it's like a hit or a miss But I think I'm just gonna go walk Around town, nanti bakal ketemu sama temen aku juga Dita dan Ica I think today I'm just gonna try to hunt For a free show Karena kemarin udah bayar yang agak mahal Jadi sekarang pengen cari yang gratis Dan just go around the city center Buat ngerasain vibes-nya French juga Let's go
