Palo Pinto Co. wildfire grows to 80,000 acres

The Ross fire, located west of Fort Worth, has scorched 80,000 acres across Palo Pinto and Jack counties. Currently only 12% contained, the blaze continues to move north, forcing evacuations and threatening the livelihoods of local farming communities. While current winds are still, officials remain concerned about dry vegetation and low rain chances hindering containment efforts.
