This is always one of my favorite planes when it came out right after I came to work here
and it is an absolute joy to be ripping the new version around for everybody.
Hello Pilots! I'm Wes from MotionRC.com and in today's episode we are checking out the new
version of the Eurofighter Typhoon. Now this aircraft came out a few years back. It's been
very popular but in this version update we're just adding all of the new features that you're
starting to enjoy on your freewing aircraft onto an existing airframe that is a phenomenal model.
Well without much further ado I'm going to take this out to the field. I'm going to take it up
for a flight and then after this we'll show you around this model. Here we go Pilots! Take it off!
The all-new Eurofighter! Success! Holy cow taking some gunfire today at large.
Almost banked her too hard there. She looks good out in the clouds today.
Formation lights on it. Let's keep her slow in this turn. Let's come by for a nice high
out past the wind stop for just a second. See if we can get it kind of aggressive.

Freewing gyro completely locked in right out of the box. Let's flip her over go back into alpha.
Bit of a spin. Oh such a good airplane. Didn't have to get used to this one too long today.
I have flown the version one a ton as it is one of my favorite models to fly.
And let's keep her down low. How low can you go? Out for the gas pipe. Yeah! I love this plane.
Hear the whoosh of the airframe. Come by for a gear pass and we'll set up for landing.
Throw in the airbrake out. Establish your glide slope. Control descent with power.
Standard delta stuff. Grease it.
Well pilots that was an awesome flight of the new Eurofighter. Well
let's go over what was actually changed on this model from the previous version.
The big one that stands out to me when you're first looking at it is the formation lights on
the fuselage up near the front and the tail. And you also got formation lights over on both
wing tips. You still have your navigation lights and your strobing beacons just like the previous
model but now you've got that little bit of an update. And I will say a free wing tail flame
afterburner in this aircraft always looks really good. So when you're going to hit that order
button maybe add one of those to your cart also. Another big change on the version two of the
Eurofighter is the quick connect wings now. So gone are the days of the six screws that were on
the original version. Now you have quick connect four buttons that you just hit to take it off. It
does still use the multi-function control board connection but that's not a hard thing to do.
And the spar still fits in the fuselage of the aircraft for transportation. Now alongside some
of those changes we also got a new paint scheme on this. The 100th anniversary edition looks
beautiful on here. You know it's always fun when there's a version update. We get to take one of
our models and put a new paint job on it which is always so cool. And I really like this one so I
hope you do too. And the last big change I want to talk about are the canards. So in the previous
version your ailerons and your elevator were mixed into the canards. Well the actual scale aircraft
the canards only work as elevators. So in the new update it was changed in the mixing board to where
your canards are only going to work for your elevator and now your ailerons are handled by
these control surfaces back at the back. Now the cool thing with all of that is you still set this
up just like a regular model. All the mixing for the canards are done for you through the EGL-1 gyro
and the control board in the aircraft. And the other thing that was added of course is the EGL-1
gyro. So right out of the box you're going to now have a gyro which is going to make this thing fly
rock solid. It's been awesome for me at any power setting. I have had no issues. Now on to the
battery report from that flight. We came down at 3.80 volts a cell and 34% pack voltage. Well guys
