Russian Telegram channels are publishing a video message from the wife of a Russian serviceman who, according to her, is serving on the front lines of the war against Ukraine. The woman addressed Vladimir Putin , stating that her husband is starving at the front, receiving no food, and facing death threats from his own men. According to her, even basic food supplies aren't reaching the front lines. She claims that stewed meat intended for the military is thrown in the trash, leaving the soldiers without food.
"Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin, I'm addressing you. The guys on the front lines are having a very hard time. They don't even get their canned meat; it's thrown in the trash. Throwed in the trash. Nothing reaches them, the guys on the front lines. They're starving there, the guys. They're being shot there. And why aren't you paying attention to this? I'm recording a video now. I want this video to reach you," the woman said. The appeal suggests that families of Russian military personnel are increasingly trying to reach out not through command, but directly to Putin. It has become a distinct genre of Russian warfare: relatives constantly complain of hunger, lack of supplies, abuse, threats, non-payment, missing persons, and violence within the army, but almost always continue to appeal to the same person who started the war. Observers note that such videos are dangerous for the Kremlin. They undermine the propaganda narrative of a "strong army," where soldiers are supposedly provided with everything they need. Instead, from within the Russian military itself, we hear stories of hunger, corruption, chaos, and fear of their own commanders. Russian authorities do not officially recognize such practices.

According to Russian officials, the intensity of the fighting has changed, with drones now playing a key role, effectively controlling the front line. Russian military officials complain of an "unprecedented density" of drones, making advancement extremely difficult. Further difficulties arose due to communication problems following the blocking of Telegram . According to Russian propagandists, communication disruptions and restrictions on the messenger's use led to increased losses, as units were unable to quickly coordinate actions and request assistance.
