This pasta is extremely easy to make and it's delicious. This pasta only needs three ingredients.
Three basic ingredients. We have spaghetti and I am using spinach spaghetti. You need olive oil
and garlic. That's it. That's all. Let's make this pasta. And I am literally
slicing the garlic like on an angle in thin slices. Garlic is a major component of this
dish. It's where all the flavor comes from. I am slicing five cloves of garlic. If you love garlic
feel free to use even more. So you don't want to chop it. You just want to slice the garlic.
It's time to start cooking our pasta. You want to make sure your water is at a boil and then
you are going to salt the water. You're going to drop your pasta in but do not break it.
We're going to add a half a cup of olive oil to a warm skillet. You want your temperature on medium
low. We're going to add that beautifully chopped garlic to the oil. The goal is to saute this
garlic on a low temperature. We do not want to burn the garlic. You're going to simply saute
this at a low temperature until the garlic is fully cooked. Okay my stove goes up to a 10.
I have this on a 4. Right so the oil is hot but it's not too hot where my garlic is going to burn.
We are slowly infusing the oil with the garlic flavor while we're cooking the garlic. So once
everything gets done literally this garlic is going to fall to pieces and melt in your mouth.
So if you're someone who loves garlic like me then you're going to like this pasta. You're
going to cook this your sauce for as long as it takes your pasta to cook. You want your sauce
and your pasta to be done at the same time. You really don't want your garlic to get dark in
color. So if you see your garlic getting a little dark then that means you want to turn your stove
down. You'll know your garlic is done when it's nice and toasty and brown and you can also smell
it. It should be smelling delicious. It's time to put this together. So pasta's off. I'm literally
going to take my pasta directly out of the water directly because I want some of that pasta water
to get in that in that sauce. We want that to happen. I'm going to take a little bit of pasta
water. It is important. This pasta water is going to make our sauce come together. So I got maybe
maybe like a half a cup. Like you don't want to put too much because you can't ruin your your sauce.
And then you're just going to toss the pasta in that sauce. For those of you that's like oh my
god it's just like oil. Like I can't do oil. I mean I don't know how to say it. Like it really doesn't
eat oily if that makes sense. Because I think that what the pasta water does is it kind of thins it
out and makes it into a sauce. I'm going to add a little bit more. And if you see it being a little
too oily just add a little more water. And then this is this is it. So it's time to season with
pepper. The reason why you salt your pasta water is because the water is going to season the pasta
literally. Literally. That's why you salt your pasta water is to add flavor to your pasta. You
never put oil in your pasta water. And now it's time to plate this up. I have my nice size pasta
bowl. I'm going to get a big helping of that pasta. I'm going to get a little bit more because I also
want to get some of that beautiful garlic and that sauce. I'm just going to give this a little twirl
to make it look nice and appetizing. And then you know what time it is right. It's time to top it off
with some freshly grated parmesan cheese. The parmesan is going to add another level of flavor
and all these flavors are going to come together and make a beautiful pasta. Here it is a three
ingredient delicious easy pasta. Bon Appetit. Let's eat.
